A rubber ball is a ball made of elastic rubber in a round shape like a balloon, without being covered with synthetic leather like the original ball. This study aims to find out volleyball learning using rubber balls can improve passing. The research method used is the experimental method with research design using experimental methods with the pretest-posttest type. The population in this study were all class XI SMAN 1 Ciparay totaling 360 people, The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling and the sample was 38 students of class XI-8 SMAN 1 Ciparay. 25, Based on the results of the research on the calculation and analysis of data from the results of the underpass test, it can be concluded that: Modification of learning media using rubber balls has a significant effect on increasing the underpass in volleyball for SMAN 1 Ciparay students.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a facet of personality encompassing an individual's qualities, skills, and abilities. Objective. The objective of this study is to ascertain the correlation between a referee's self-confidence and the efficacy in officiating a football match. Material and Methods. This study employs a descriptive methodology. The author employs a random selection technique for the sample of male referees possessing a Football referee license status at PSSI Garut. The research design employs a one-shot approach. The test employed is a questionnaire assessing self-confidence and the capacity to effectively conduct a football match. Data analysis employs validity tests, reliability tests, normalcy tests, percentage tests, t-tests, and correlation tests. Results. The research data processing revealed that the self-confidence level of PSSI Garut referees is categorized as sufficient, while their success in officiating PSSI Garut matches is classified as good. Furthermore, there exists a moderate correlation coefficient between self-confidence and success in leading PSSI Garut matches. It is advised that football referees possess strong self-confidence in their ability to successfully officiate PSSI Garut matches. The study's merits include a lucid methodology and thorough outcomes. Nevertheless, Conclusions. The results of this study may lack generalizability to other situations, as they are limited to a sample of reviewers at PSSI Garut. Subsequent research should encompass an expanded sample from other regions and investigate supplementary factors that contribute to referee success, such as experience, training, and psychological conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding and application of basic football actions, especially passing and first touch techniques, in STKIP Pasundan Cimahi Football UKM athletes. These basic techniques are considered important because they affect the effectiveness of the game and the team's success in building attacks. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a one-shot case study approach, where data collection is carried out once through direct observation of 10 athletes. The research instrument is an observation sheet containing indicators of passing and first touch skills. The results of the analysis show that the passing technique value tends to be higher than the first touch, but the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test show no statistically significant difference between the two (p> 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the athletes have a good understanding and application of football actions, especially in the passing aspect. This study recommends increasing the intensity of structured training for the first touch aspect in order to achieve a balance in basic technical abilities as a whole

Abstract

The research conducted by the author is a study on the relationship between Interest in Learning Physical Education and Basic Ability to Play Football. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using a correlational method that aims to determine the correlation (relationship) between the two variables. Variable X is Interest in Learning and variable Y is Basic Ability to Play Football. The population in this study were all students who took extracurricular activities. The sample used in this study is part of the population so that the subjects of this study were students in grades 4, 5, 6, Male who took the interest in learning and basic ability test for football 30 students. The sampling technique used Total Sampling. The instrument used in this study forinterest in learning used a Questionnaire and Basic Ability to play football used a Basic Skills Test for playing football, both of which will be modified using a Likert scale. This analysis can be done by statistical testing, namely the correlation test processed with the SPSS Version 29.00 program. The results of the correlation analysis of the relationship between interest in learning physical education and basic ability to play football are known to have a p value of 0.532> 0.05, indicating a significant positive relationship between Interest in Learning Physical Education and Basic Ability to Play Football.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Small Sided Games (SSG) training on the improvement of passing techniques and performance in futsal games. The passing technique is one of the basic skills that is very important in futsal because it plays a significant role in the effectiveness of team cooperation. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design for passing technique, and Posttest-Only Control Group Design for game performance. The sample in this study consists of 15 male futsal club members from STKIP Pasundan Cimahi. The instrument used is a four-sided passing test with a rebound board for passing technique, while game performance is measured using the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) scoring format that includes seven indicators and is directly observed in the context of the match. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, reliability tests, paired sample t-tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in passing technique after treatment with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates that Small Sided Games training is effective in improving passing ability. Additionally, there is a significant difference in game performance scores between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.001), which shows that SSG training also has a positive impact on game performance. Thus, Small Sided Games training has been proven to significantly influence the improvement of passing techniques and futsal performance, and is recommended as an effective alternative training method in the learning and coaching of futsal.
