Abstract

Benteng Micro indonesia Cooperative (BMI) is one of the cooperatives engaged in the field of savings and loans. The assessment process for granting loans to cooperatives is still done manually so it requires quite a long time. In addition, the lending process is still subjective because without calculating the feasibility of lending it causes the risk of bad credit. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to determine who is more suitable to receive loans. The Simple Additive Weighting method is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this cooperative, because with this method the decisions taken by cooperative members are more thorough and detailed than in the past. There are 5 criteria in determining the eligibility of loans, namely job criteria, income criteria, criteria for the form of collateral, criteria for the amount of the loan, criteria for funding requirements. The final results in this study in the form of ranking so that the cooperative can easily make decisions by looking at these results.

Abstract

ABSTRACTStroke is damage to brain tissue due to disruption of blood flow to the brain. One of the effects that occur in stroke patients is weakness on one side of the body, such as the upper extremity. Exercises to stimulate movement in the hands can be in the form of active-assistive ROM cylindrical grip and spherical grip. The purpose of this research is to identify research articles that describe the use of ROM cylindrical grip and spherical grip to increase upper extremity muscle strength in stroke patients. Design this research is a literature review study. Article searches were carried out comprehensively through a database of national and international indexed research journals with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The types of research articles are quasi experiment, pre-experimental study, and retrospective study. The research articles obtained were 11 articles, analyzed and synthesized in a tabular format. The results of the literature review is active-assisted ROM cylindrical grip and spherical grip are used as limb movement exercises in the rehabilitation process for stroke patients, namely cylindrical grip ROM, spherical grip both using simple tools (tissue rolls, baseball) as well as technological innovations that have developed such as Robot-assisted Therapy, 3D immersive virtual reality, and Hand Extension Robot Orthosis (HERO) Grip Glove. The conclusion of this study is ROM cylindrical grip and spherical grip are used as post-stroke rehabilitation exercises that are useful for training muscle strength, especially when gripping, preventing joint stiffness, as well as in carrying out daily activities.

Abstract

ABSTRACTNeuropathy is the classic and most common complication of DM. One of the early detection of diabetic sensory neuropathy is the Ipswich Touch Test. This study aims to analyze, compile and examine the results of published research articles containing the application of the IpTT method in detecting diabetic neuropathy. Desain of this research is a literature review. Article searches were carried out comprehensively through national and international indexed research journals databases such as Pubmed, Elsevier Clinical Key, and Google Scholar. who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research articles obtained were 6 articles, then all the articles obtained were synthesized and combined. The results of the analysis of six journals, there are five research journals with cross-sectional study and systematic review methods, stated that the IpTT examination is significant for detecting diabetic neuropathy, which is evidenced by having a sensitivity ranging from 51-83.3% and a specificity of 90-96, 6% which means it has higher accuracy than the monofilament test. Meanwhile, another journal that uses a cross-sectional study states that the results are not significant/there is no difference between the IpTT examination and the monofilament test, this is because the researchers did not characterize DM respondents in their research. In general, five of the six journals recommend that the IpTT examination can be a reliable method, does not require special costs or tools, and is easy to apply in primary health care and in inpatient care for early detection of diabetic neuropathy.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia continues to increase, characterized by increased blood pressure due to vasoconstriction of blood vessels. Hypertension management can be carried out through non-pharmacological approaches, including complementary therapies such as tomato juice. This study aims to identify and analyze research articles on the effect of tomato juice on lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The study design used a literature review. Article searches were conducted through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and PubMed databases, with a search period of 2015–2025. A total of 12 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed. The review results showed that administering tomato juice at a dose of 150–250 grams per day for 1-4 weeks contributed to a reduction in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the range of 1-10 mmHg. This effect is related to the content of lycopene, bioflavonoids, and potassium, which have antioxidant and vasodilatory activities. Although the majority of studies showed benefits, variations in design, intervention duration, and sample characteristics between studies indicate the need for cautious interpretation of the results and the need for research with more robust methodology. In conclusion, tomato juice has potential as a supportive non-pharmacological intervention to lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients. However, these findings require further study through more standardized experimental studies before being widely integrated into primary healthcare practice.
