Abstract

The quality of life of the pre-elderly population is the key to readiness to enter the stages of old age to realize a prosperous life. Previous research has extensively studied the condition of the elderly population in various scientific disciplines  but still minimally examines the quality of life of the pre-elderly population, especially regarding educational background as an indicator of human resource development. This research aims to measure and analyze the influence of educational background on the quality of life of the pre-elderly population as they enter old age. This research method is quantitative with the instrument used being a questionnaire. This research population was residents in Timbangan Sub District, Ogan Ilir Regency aged 45-59 years. The sample calculation used the Isaac and Michael formula with a sampling error of 5% so that the sample size for this study is 310 residents. Data analysis used in this research is the independent sample median K test, Tukey test, and ordinal regression test using SPSS version 20 and STATA version 17 software. The results show that there is a significant influence between educational background and the quality of life of the pre-elderly population in Timbangan Sub District, Ogan Ilir Regency, it was 7.16%. Thus, educational background variables can contribute to improving the quality of life of the pre-elderly population in Timbangan Sub District, Ogan Ilir Regency.

Abstract

Each household has a livelihood strategy. The livelihood strategy model carried out is related to the livelihood assets they have, but not all assets can be maximized well in farming household livelihood engineering. Livelihood assets are natural capital, physical capital, financial capital, human capital, and social capital. This study analyses livelihood strategies in the COVID-19 pandemic for rainfed rice farmers in Kalampadu Village, Muara Kuang District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study will discuss research issues through the theory of livelihood strategies from Herbon and Manig through engineering farmers' livelihood assets. Researchers used descriptive research with a qualitative approach because the issue of rural livelihoods requires farmer subjectivity and in-depth data analysis. Data collection techniques used were participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. Researchers use phenomenological research strategies to explore the true meaning of livelihood strategies in identifying social, cultural, economic, and ecological farmers. The results showed that there were seven livelihood strategies for farmer households, namely 1) acquisition strategies, 2) allocation strategies, 3) production strategies, 4) social relation structure, 5) transformation strategies, 6) consumption strategies, and 7) reproduction strategies. The livelihood model of the farmer's household depends on the farmer's livelihood assets that are adaptive to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Anak merupakan generasi masa depan yang berperan dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Lingkungan yang dijaga secara baik akan dapat memberikan kehidupan yang layak bagi generasi selanjutnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan melalui hologram sebagai media edukasi berbasis teknologi. Lokasi kegiatan di Desa Tanjung Seteko Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian meliputi pembuatan video dengan topik menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, mempersiapkan media hologram, memberikan pretest, menayangkan video edukasi melalui media hologram, dan memberikan posttest untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan ini. Adapun hasil dari pembagian pretest dan posttest menunjukkan perbedaan dalam peningkatan skor setelah ditayangkan video menggunakan media hologram. Rata-rata skor pretest anak adalah 46,65 dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan skor hasil posttest meningkat menjadi 64,35 dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji N-Gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0.327 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil angket tersebut diketahui bahwa edukasi menjaga kebersihan lingkungan melalui media hologram dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak desa Tanjung Seteko Kabupaten Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

Bullying tidak hanya berdampak bagi pelaku dan korban, tetapi bagi siswa yang menyaksikan kejadian bullying tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dampak bullying terhadap siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan angket yang hasilnya akan dianalisis dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel kepada 92 responden terdiri dari 48 resonden untuk kelas X dan 44 responde untuk kelas XI menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling berdasarkan kelas. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Guttman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak bullying terhadap siswa sebagai pelaku masuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan total presentase sebesar 80%, dampak bagi siswa sebagai korban masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan total presentase sebesar 40%, dan dampak bagi yang menyaksikan bullying masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan total presentasi sebesar 54%.

Abstract

Ekstrakurikuler seni tidak hanya memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk menyalurkan minat dan bakat siswa, tetapi juga menawarkan manfaat yang luas dalam perkembangan pribadi dan akademis siswa, untuk itu perlu diketahui apa saja yang memotivasi siswa mengikuti ekstrakurikuler seni di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi siswa mengikuti ekstrakurikuler seni di SMA Negeri 4. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang motivasi siswa mengikuti pengembangan diri melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang yang dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dan data tersebut akan diinterprestasikan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan motivasi siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang disebabkan oleh tingginya motivasi intrinsik dibandingkan dengan motivasi ekstrinsik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari motivasi intrinsik melalui minat yang dimiliki siswa dan bakat yang ada dari siswa sejak kecil. Adapun motivasi ekstrinsik diperoleh dari dukungan dari orangtua dan juga tersedianya fasilitas yang lengkap dari sekolah memotivasi siswa untuk mengikuti ekstrakurikuler seni, sedangkan dukungan dari lingkungan masyarakat sama sekali tidak memberikan motivasi kepada siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak pariwisata terhadap perubahan sosial masyarakat di Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti Kabupaten Lahat. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan interpretasi skor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dampak Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti terhadap perubahan sosial masyarakat pada beberapa indikator yaitu indikator struktur sosial yang menunjukkan hasil persentase keseluruhan sebesar 83,5% dengan kategori tinggi, indikator modernisasi keluarga yang menunjukkan hasil persentase keseluruhan sebesar 74%. dengan kategori sedang, dan indikator peningkatan wawasan masyarakat yang menunjukkan hasil persentase sebesar 70% dengan kategori sedang. Jadi dapat dilihat bahwa Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti di Kabupaten Lahat cukup memberikan dampak terhadap perubahan sosial masyarakat sekitar wisata.

Abstract

Bullying is an action carried out with the aim of hurting or harming someone, either through cruel words, social exclusion or physical violence. This behavior can occur in a variety of environments, such as school, work, or even online, and often leaves a deep psychological impact on the victim. This research aims to explore the phenomenon of bullying in junior secondary education. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Sampling used random sampling techniques and a sample of 100 students at Junior High School (SMP) was obtained. Data collection used the Bullying Behavior Tendency Instrument in Secondary Students. Data analysis uses item analysis, indicators with classification techniques for the level of student bullying behavior using Excel and SPSS. The research results found that indicators of bullying behavior were generally in the very low category and indicators of having experienced bullying were mostly in the very low category, but some were in the very low, medium and high categories. It was then found that there were significant differences in bullying behavior in terms of gender, while there was no difference in the level of bullying received in terms of gender, meaning that the bullying behavior received was relatively the same between men and women.

Abstract

The community service program, Mentoring the Instillation of Javanese Cultural and Art Values in Transmigrant Children at the Sanggar Berdaya Desa Margotani II, aims to overcome the declining understanding of Javanese culture and art among transmigrant children. This activity involved 26 transmigrant children who were Sanggar Berdaya Desa Margotani II students. This activity was carried out using the lecture, question and answer, and direct practice methods with participants. The stages of this activity include the presentation of material using the lecture method on the history of the transmigration program, the variety of Javanese culture and art, traditional games, and tourism. The next stage is a question and answer session with participants to strengthen their knowledge and understanding. The community service team also handed over technological innovation aids to the community through the Kawruh Basa Jawa book and a mini Saron musical instrument used during the practice. The next activity was the practice of reading and writing Javanese script, the practice of traditional Javanese dance, and traditional Javanese games. The results of this program showed an increase in participants' knowledge and enthusiasm for Javanese culture and art. It can be concluded that this program contributes to the sustainability of Javanese cultural and arts learning for future generations, while also demonstrating the potential of community-based learning centres in building cultural resilience and strengthening social cohesion in transmigrant environments. to increase cultural appreciation, preserving Javanese cultural heritage, and enhance social harmony in transmigrant communities.ABSTRAKProgram pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertajuk Pendampingan Penanaman Nilai Budaya dan Seni Jawa pada Anak Transmigran di Sanggar Belajar Ndeso Berdaya, Desa Margotani II bertujuan untuk mengatasi menurunnya pemahaman budaya dan seni Jawa pada anak-anak transmigran. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 26 anak transmigran yang merupakan warga belajar Sanggar Berdaya Desa Margotani II. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan praktik langsung dengan peserta. Tahapan kegiatan ini meliputi pemaparan materi dengan metode ceramah tentang sejarah program transmigrasi, ragam budaya dan kesenian Jawa, permainan tradisional serta kepariwisataan. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah tanya jawab kepada peserta untuk memperkuat pengetahuan dan pemahamannya. Tim pengabdian juga menyerahkan alat bantu inovasi teknologi kepada masyarakat berupa buku Kawruh Basa Jawa dan alat musik saron mini yang digunakan pada saat praktik. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah praktik membaca dan menulis aksara Jawa, praktik seni tari tradisional Jawa, dan permainan tradisional Jawa. Hasil program ini menunjukkan bertambahnya pengetahuan dan antusiasme peserta terhadap budaya dan seni Jawa. Dapat disimpulkan, program ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap keberlanjutan pembelajaran budaya dan seni Jawa bagi generasi mendatang, sekaligus menunjukkan potensi sanggar belajar berbasis komunitas dalam membangun ketahanan budaya dan memperkuat kohesi sosial di lingkungan transmigran. untuk meningkatkan apresiasi budaya, melestarikan warisan budaya Jawa, serta memperkuat harmoni sosial di komunitas transmigran.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of petal duck business on the family economy in Sukamerindu Village, Indralaya district of Ogan Ilir. The approach used in this research is quantitative with the type of descriptive research. The population of this research is an entrepreneurial duck with a sample of 30 entrepreneurs using a census sample technique. Data collection techniques using observation and lifting. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression formulas. The results of the research showed that there was an influence between the business of the duck on the family's economy. For influence business ducks belong to the low category. With the result of a ritung value > rtable that is a positive influence on the economy of the family that has a contribution of 0.153 or. That means every 1% increase in the rate of breeding of the duck (X), then the increase in income (Y) will increase by 0.153. As far as the positive impact of the breeding of the duck is concerned, it can be seen from the result that the majority of the community that has an undertaking of breeding ducks is able to meet the daily needs of quality food, have sufficient water, and are able to satisfy daily needs. It can be concluded that the results of the research there is a positive relationship between the cultivation of ducks petal against the economy of the family in the village of Sukamerindu district of Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop and determine the validity and practicality of the content of public education innovation materials on the Android-based PLS.edu application in the Public Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University. The research method used is research and development using the ADDIE development model with the research subject being 5th semester students who take the Diffusion of Educational Innovation course. The results showed that the validation results obtained a feasibility value by material experts by 78%, linguists by 52% and media experts by 84%. Furthermore, based on the results of product practicality trials, namely individual trials, the feasibility score was 82.67 % and small group trials were 86.40 %. So that the overall average percentage of eligibility is 76.61 with "Good" criteria. These results indicate that the content of public education innovation material on the Android-based PLS.edu application developed in this study is valid and practical so that it is declared feasible to be used in learning.Keywords: Content development, Community education innovation, Android
