Abstract

Emotion is a response shown by an individual to an event or stimulus that can affect his mental state. These emotions require control within the individual to be able to produce positive behavior, feelings and mental states in the process of emotional regulation. Measuring emotional regulation is needed to be able to describe a person's emotional control state. The aim of this research is to produce a valid and reliable emotional regulation scale. This research method is a research and development method with the ADDIE model. The population in this study was 2996 Class XI high school students in Ilir Barat 1 District, Palembang City. The total sample for this research was 102 respondents taken randomly. This research data processing uses SPSS with the product moment formula and factor analysis with a confirmatory factor analysis approach. The results of the research show that the content validity of experts states that 95% of the scale is suitable for use, and the emotional regulation scale prepared is constructively valid with 45 items with a Cronbach's alpha reliability value of 0.948. It was concluded that the emotional regulation scale was suitable for use with a larger and more diverse group of respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of applying non-cognitive diagnostics to listening skills in class VII.2 students at SMP Negeri 22 Palembang. This research method used descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire containing 35 questions distributed to a sample of 28 students. In this study, it was found that 46% of students had the medium category in listening skills. Apart from that, the diagnostic results of listening skills showed a mean of 96.18 and a standard deviation (SD) of 10.26. A standard deviation that was smaller than the mean indicated that the distribution of the data variable is small or that there is no large enough gap between the lowest (25%) and highest (29%) ratios.

Abstract

Bullying is an action carried out with the aim of hurting or harming someone, either through cruel words, social exclusion or physical violence. This behavior can occur in a variety of environments, such as school, work, or even online, and often leaves a deep psychological impact on the victim. This research aims to explore the phenomenon of bullying in junior secondary education. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Sampling used random sampling techniques and a sample of 100 students at Junior High School (SMP) was obtained. Data collection used the Bullying Behavior Tendency Instrument in Secondary Students. Data analysis uses item analysis, indicators with classification techniques for the level of student bullying behavior using Excel and SPSS. The research results found that indicators of bullying behavior were generally in the very low category and indicators of having experienced bullying were mostly in the very low category, but some were in the very low, medium and high categories. It was then found that there were significant differences in bullying behavior in terms of gender, while there was no difference in the level of bullying received in terms of gender, meaning that the bullying behavior received was relatively the same between men and women.

Abstract

Maraknya kasus perundungan akhir-akhir ini di sekolah hendaknya menjadi perhatian besar bagi pendidik. Dalam rangka mengatasi perundungan di sekolah perlu adanya peran dan upaya-upaya guru bimbingan dan konseling yang terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan. Pelaksanaan pemberian bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik sebagai pelaku dan korban perundungan bisa menggunakan format konseling kelompok , individual maupun klasikal. Oleh karena itu, guru BK hendaknya bisa menyesuaikan pemberian layanan dengan karakteristik peserta didik yang masuk generasi Z. Karakteristik peserta didik ini gemar menggunakan internet dalam kehidupan kesehariannya. Booklet dipilih sebagai salah satu media yang akan digunakan dalam pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik. Sehingga dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini guru BK sebagai peserta pelatihan dapat menguasai dan terampil membuat booklet anti perundungan yang nantinya akan diakses oleh peserta didik. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendampingan. Peserta akan didampingi oleh tim pengabdian dalam proses pembuatan booklet anti perundungan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu, guru BK sudah mampu membuat booklet anti perundungan melalui aplikasi flipbook. Booklet yang sudah dibuat oleh guru BK dapat digunakan dalam pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan format individu, kelompok maupun klasikal.

Abstract

Personal social development is very important considering the challenges students face, such as bullying and socializing unhealthily. This research focuses on the need to create a safe and supportive learning environment to support the growth of students' character. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of social personal development and formulate an effective mentoring program. The method used was a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations of fifteen students, which aimed to understand their experiences regarding bullying and social support at school. The results showed that a large part of the students once experienced or witnessed bullying behavior, which negatively impacted their mental health and concentration in learning. Proposed mentoring programs have personal-social goals To raise students' awareness of the dangers of bullying, build social skills, and create positive relationships with peers. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools, parents, and the community in supporting the social development of private students, so that it is expected to form a young generation who are not only intelligent in terms of academics, but also have good character and are able to interact in a positive way in public.

Abstract

Career information services play an important role in helping students understand and plan the right career path for their future, especially for teenagers who are in the transition to adulthood. This research aims to review the role of career information services in improving students' career planning. The method used is content analysis using the Krippendorff method by reviewing 20 national and international articles published in the last 10 years. Data taken from Google Scholar and Science Direct. The results of this study indicate that career information services have an important role in helping students plan their careers effectively. With the important role of career information services, counselors, guidance, and counseling teachers, and other educational practitioners are advised to continue to develop and provide these services to students.

Abstract

Information technology and self-efficacy in learning activities are very important, because information technology is a process that can help to make it easier to access and obtain the desired scientific information. The aim of the research is to determine the level of technology use in learning and the level of student self-efficacy and to examine the relationship between the use of technology in learning and student self-efficacy. The method applied in this research adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational type. This study had 34 samples determined using random sampling techniques. The research results show that the level of skills in using technology in learning and students' self-efficacy are generally in the medium category. Then it can be seen that the correlation between variables does not show a significant correlation.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the meaning of guidance and counseling service innovation, how to develop innovation, forms of innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic and endemic, identify various efforts to strengthen Guidance and Counseling services. The preparation of this article is based on a literature study that innovation is a very important thing for BK, otherwise BK will not be abandoned by students and not meaningful for students. The way BK teachers develop innovation includes the question of what improvements can be made, creating interesting and meaningful BK services, collaborating to produce innovations. Forms of innovation in the midst of a pandemic include synchronous tele-guidance and Counseling, open service materials that can be accessed by all, self-assessment tutorials, self-healing tutorials. Efforts to increase innovation in BK services through regulation, execution, and empowerment. Based on definite studies as follows; BK teachers always try to think and behave innovatively so that the services developed are attractive to them and the desired goals can be achieved, both during the pandemic and in the final period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tingkat kejenuhan belajar pada siswa kelas XI.8 SMA Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa. Kejenuhan belajar adalah kondisi di mana siswa merasa lelah secara mental, kehilangan semangat belajar, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi, yang dapat berdampak pada prestasi dan kondisi psikologis mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa mengalami kejenuhan belajar tingkat sedang, sedangkan 10% berada pada tingkat tinggi. Tidak ada siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Faktor penyebab diduga berasal dari tuntutan akademik yang tinggi, metode mengajar yang kurang menarik, serta efek psikologis setelah pembelajaran daring selama pandemi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, disarankan agar guru menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih bervariasi, sekolah menyediakan layanan konseling, dan beban tugas siswa dikelola dengan lebih baik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih mendukung.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca merupakan fondasi utama dalam proses belajar siswa, khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 2A di SD Negeri 02 Indralaya Utara dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sebanyak 28 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian yang dievaluasi melalui instrumen observasi berdasarkan 4 aspek kemampuan membaca yaitu mengenal huruf, membaca kata, kelancaran membaca dengan suara nyaring serta pemahaman isi bacaan, dan menyimak atau memahami informasi yang didengar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 86% siswa berada pada kategori keterampilan membaca tinggi, 14% berada pada kategori sedang, dan tidak ada siswa yang termasuk kategori rendah. Temuan ini menggambarkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah memiliki kemampuan membaca yang baik, yang kemungkinan besar dipengaruhi oleh strategi pembelajaran guru, keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar di rumah, serta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini juga menemukan kecenderungan perbedaan kemampuan membaca berdasarkan jenis kelamin, di mana siswa perempuan lebih dominan dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan hasil ini, penting bagi guru dan orang tua untuk berkolaborasi dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, variatif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa SD pada generasi Alpha yang lebih visual, aktif, dan cepat menyerap informasi.
