Abstract

This study aims to optimize campus promotion routes using Dijkstra's algorithm to increase efficiency in time and cost. By applying this method, the shortest and fastest paths to target promotion locations can be optimally determined. Data were obtained through geographical mapping of schools and road accessibility. The implementation of Dijkstra’s algorithm was analyzed in terms of effectiveness and efficiency compared to conventional methods. This study is expected to contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of campus promotion strategies through route optimization.

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient and accessible academic services has led higher education institutions to adopt innovative digital solutions. At STMIK Mulia Darma, students often experience delays and limited access to academic information due to manual service systems and limited staff availability. To address these challenges, this research proposes the development of an academic chatbot using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to automate and enhance student services. The chatbot is designed to understand and respond to student inquiries in Bahasa Indonesia, providing real-time information related to course schedules, registration procedures, tuition deadlines, and other academic matters. By integrating NLP with the institution’s academic information system, the chatbot delivers personalized and context-aware responses. The system was developed using a rule-based NLP model enhanced with intent classification and entity recognition techniques. Testing results indicate that the chatbot successfully answered more than 90% of user queries with acceptable response time and accuracy. This solution demonstrates the potential of NLP-powered chatbots to improve service efficiency, reduce administrative workload, and support the implementation of a smart campus ecosystem.

Abstract

Advances in information technology at this time have an important role in helping human activities or work. The role of information technology is very influential in various aspects of life, both for individuals and organizations / agencies. Many organizations or agencies have utilized information technology to provide services for their business activities. However, not all business organizations have utilized the use of information systems and technology as a supporting medium for their business activities. One of them is in the field of hospitality. Hotel Deli Indah is one of the hotels located in Deli Serdang district. This hotel information is needed by the community as a place that provides several things. Such as lodging, food and drinks. However, with the website of parties who need information about the hotel, simply open the hotel website that is online and real time. To overcome these problems, we offer solutions to overcome various problems mentioned above. The solution is in the form of a Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application. This system was developed with the hope that it can help the hotel in terms of updating information will be easier to do where later the school information system can run faster than the current system and of course to parties who need information can directly search for hotel information by directly opening the hotel website. The objectives of PKM in general are: Can help the community in general, to disseminate information quickly, efficiently and effectively. Along with the development of Information Technology, the website no longer just offers product value, but goes to the back office system (management of office systems / agencies / schools) online and real time. The purpose of the Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application is to assist hotels in the process of public information services, thus providing support for better school data processing. Target to be achieved: Providing updated information media services through internet media to the wider community about Hotel Deli Indah.

Abstract

The community service program entitled "Digitalization of MSMEs: Helping Small Businesses Use Technology" aims to increase the capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in utilizing digital technology to optimize operations and expand their market reach. MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in adopting digital technology due to limited knowledge and resources. The program involves intensive training and hands-on mentoring on the use of digital technology, including online marketing tools, inventory management systems, and e-commerce platforms. The methods used include practical training sessions, workshops and individual mentoring. Evaluations show that participants experienced significant improvements in their technology understanding, digital skills and business performance. The program recommends the need for continued support and better access to technological resources to ensure the success and sustainability of MSME digitalization in the future.

Abstract

Website design skills are one of the important competencies needed in the digital era, especially for Vocational High School (SMK) students who are directed to be ready for work. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy and technical skills of SMK 1 Parulian students through training in creating a simple website using the WordPress platform. The implementation method includes preparation stages, direct training implementation, and evaluation in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the concept and practice of website creation, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores and students' success in creating a functional personal website. In addition, feedback from the questionnaire showed that participants felt enthusiastic and rated this training as very beneficial for their skill development. With this training, it is hoped that vocational school students will be able to develop their potential in the field of information technology, especially in WordPress-based digital content management.

Abstract

Oral diseases such as stomatitis, gingivitis, and candidiasis are often undetected at an early stage due to limited public knowledge and restricted access to healthcare services, leading to delays in treatment. This study aims to develop an Android-based expert system for diagnosing oral diseases using a hybrid approach that combines the Naïve Bayes and Decision Tree algorithms. The Naïve Bayes method is applied to calculate the probability of symptoms associated with potential diseases, while the Decision Tree generates diagnostic rules that are more transparent and interpretable. The research stages include a literature review, data collection and validation of disease symptoms from medical experts, development of the hybrid model, implementation into an Android application, and system testing using cross-validation and a confusion matrix. The expected outcomes include a prototype Android application for oral disease diagnosis with a minimum accuracy of 85%, a scientific article published in a nationally accredited journal indexed in Sinta, and additional outputs such as copyright registration of the application and publication of a book. This study is expected to improve public access to early diagnosis of oral diseases, support early detection, and contribute to the advancement of digital health systems based on artificial intelligence in Indonesia.

Abstract

In recent years, the cake and pastry market, including Bolu Menara, has grown rapidly and attracted many customers. This research looks at Bolu Menara sales data collected during a certain period using the C.45 algorithm from the RapidMiner application. The aim of this method is to discover purchasing patterns and understand consumer patterns to improve marketing strategies. For example, the analysis results show that consumers with certain criteria tend to buy Bolu Menara more often than other people. So, this method succeeds in finding sales patterns that can be used as a basis for marketing strategies, enabling businesses to improve their marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
