Abstract

: The purpose of this study was to analyze, (1) Problems of online learning at RA Masjid Agung Medan Polonia, (2) Collaboration patterns between parents and teachers in managing online learning at the Grand Mosque of Medan Polonia, and (3) obstacles faced in collaboration between teachers. and parents. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method based on descriptive studies. The results showed that. Some of the difficulties faced by parents in online learning are as follows: (1) Difficulty in identifying the behavior and initial characteristics of students, (2) Decreasing interest and motivation of children in learning, (3) Difficulty and minimal collaboration between parents and teachers, (4) ) Constrained by networks and internet facilities, (5) Problems in evaluating student learning outcomes, (6) Collaboration patterns between parents and teachers in managing online learning at the Grand Mosque of Medan Polonia. As for the pattern of cooperation between teachers and parents during online learning, there are two patterns, namely the permanent cooperation pattern and the tentative cooperation pattern. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced were (1) Difficulty communicating with parents outside school hours, (2) Constraints in understanding each other's conditions.Keywords: Learning, cooperation, Teacher, Parents

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam di MIS Ar Rum Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi, di antaranya penguatan kurikulum berbasis Islam, peningkatan kompetensi guru, optimalisasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, serta penguatan budaya religius di lingkungan sekolah. Faktor-faktor pendukung strategi ini meliputi komitmen guru, partisipasi orang tua, serta fasilitas yang mendukung. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan anggaran dan kurangnya pelatihan berbasis digital bagi guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam dan dapat menjadi model bagi madrasah lain.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the need to strengthen Islamic character education among madrasah students, especially amid the challenges of globalization that often weaken the moral values of adolescents. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the principles of behaviorism in strengthening Islamic character at MTs PAB VI Helvetia; (2) to identify the forms of reinforcement used by teachers; and (3) to analyze their effectiveness. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of behaviorism principles has proven effective in shaping students' Islamic character. Stimulus-response practices are manifested in teachers' role modeling and religious habits, reinforcement is applied in the form of praise and educational reprimands, while conditioning is evident through religious routines and Islamic social interactions. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of consistency, teacher modeling, and family support. The implications of this research are the need for synergy between schools, families, and communities in strengthening the continuous development of noble character among students.

Abstract

The importance of character building from an early age requires a special theory in formal education. This research analyses the implementation of Social Constructivism Learning Theory in children's character building in Islamic educational institutions, focusing on its implementation and significance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research informants were teachers and students. data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The findings show that this theory emphasises the importance of children's interaction with the environment, such as teachers and peers, to internalise character values. At Raudhatul Athfal Nur Azro, learning uses methods such as games, cooking class, storytelling, sociodrama, and positive behaviour modelling. The concept of zone of proximal development is applied to help children understand the concept of character through direct experience. Overall, the use of this theory is crucial in shaping positive character in early childhood, creating a generation with integrity and empathy. This research contributes to providing a strong foundation for positive character development in the early stages of children's lives, creating a generation with integrity and empathy, ready to face the complex moral demands of society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategies at vocational school of Bina Taruna Medan city and what are the challenges in implementing contextual teaching and learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes at vocational school of Bina Taruna Kota Medan. This research method is a qualitative research with a case study approach, the results of observations show that the application of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning strategies improves student learning outcomes. The improvement of student learning outcomes reflects the enthusiasm of students in taking lessons in class and is carried over to the test results of Islamic religious education subjects. The learning outcomes of Islamic religious education subjects are said to be classically complete.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam keterlibatan makna bermain dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam pada anak usia dini di RA Ar Rum Medan Marelan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, penelitian ini menggali pengalaman langsung guru dan anak dalam aktivitas bermain yang bernilai Islami. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dan lingkungan bermain anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain di RA Ar Rum mengandung makna spiritual, sosial, dan emosional yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Secara spiritual, bermain dipahami sebagai sarana ibadah dan pengenalan anak terhadap sifat-sifat Allah melalui aktivitas yang menyenangkan dan penuh kasih sayang. Secara sosial, bermain menjadi wahana pembelajaran akhlak, kerja sama, serta penanaman nilai ukhuwah dan tanggung jawab. Sementara secara emosional, bermain menumbuhkan rasa aman, bahagia, dan dicintai yang memperkuat karakter positif anak. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam, bermain merupakan proses pembelajaran yang fitri dan bermakna, karena menumbuhkan keseimbangan antara aspek kognitif, spiritual, dan moral anak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious moderation-based learning at Bina Taruna 1 Private Vocational School Medan. The focus of the study is on two things, namely the form of implementation and constraints in the implementation of religious moderation-based learning. The research method used is qualitative based on descriptive studies. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberan techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that the form of implementation is an in-depth understanding of various religions, respect for diversity, an inclusive curriculum, interfaith dialogue, tolerance practices, collaboration with parents/guardians, training for teachers. The obstacles in implementing religious moderation-based learning are technological developments that are not used properly, intolerant behavior that seems normalized where people who commit religious harassment, for example, often do not receive punishment for their actions, the school also cannot fully supervise students. Because these students also have lives outside the school environment that teachers cannot reach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and synthesize strategies for instilling the values of tauhid (monotheism) in early childhood education based on the thoughts of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study examines the primary works of both scholars, such as Ihya’ Ulum al-Din, Ayyuha al-Walad, and Muqaddimah, along with relevant secondary literature. The results reveal that Al-Ghazali emphasizes tauhid education as a process of tazkiyat al-nafs (purification of the soul) and the cultivation of heart-based awareness of God’s oneness through role modeling and habituation. Meanwhile, Ibn Khaldun highlights the social and methodological aspects of education, particularly the principles of tadrīj (gradual learning) and takrīr (repetition). The conceptual synthesis of their ideas results in an integrative strategy for tauhid education consisting of three core pillars: (1) the internalization of tauhid awareness contextualized for early childhood development, (2) gradual and joyful habituation aligned with the child’s developmental stages, and (3) a learning environment grounded in exemplary conduct and social solidarity. This strategy is highly relevant for modern early childhood education institutions as an effort to build children’s faith-based character, moral integrity, and adaptability in the digital age.
