Abstract

The aims of this research is: 1) the rules related to distance learning during the Covid-19 emergency period, 2) type of learning innovations applied by Islamic study teachers, 3) obstacles faced by Islamic education teachers during e-learning. This research was conducted at MTS. PAI. The research method used is a qualitative research method, with a descriptive study model. The results of the study indicate that the policies adopted in MTS. PAI during the emergency period Covid-19 is still carrying out learning, but carried out with a distance-based internet network system. This policy is always implemented in accordance with government regulations. The variety of learning innovations applied are 1) Innovation In intra curricular activities, such as the presentation of learning with multimedia. PAI learning that emphasizes the motto 'friendly'. online-based discussions and assignments, Application of project-based methods, evaluation of learning based on activities. 2) Innovations in Extracurricular activities, such as routine reading and memorizing the Koran. The obstacles faced are 1) mindset errors, 2) Lack of competence, 3) teacher and student unpreparedness in facing E-Learning learning.

Abstract

Islamic Higher Education has its own characteristics compared to public universities, although both implement andragogy, but the output of andragogy produced is certainly different from one another. Classroom management and learning strategies are one of the triggers of these differences. In this regard, this study aims to analyse andragogy learning at the Islamic College of Sumatra Medan, with a focus on classroom management and learning strategies. This research uses case study-based qualitative method. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results revealed that the research at the Islamic College of Sumatra showed that the andragogy classroom management model that integrates Islamic principles and technology improves the learning experience and student motivation. The use of technology supports Multimedia Cognition theory, while strategies such as individual mentoring and collaborative methods are in line with Constructivism and Social Learning theories. Challenges such as change resistance and limited resources require effective managerial approaches. The research recommends the importance of change management and resource management to improve the implementation of the andragogy model.

Abstract

Abstrak Literasi Al-Qur’an merupakan keahlian kemampuan dalam menumbuh kembangkan tiga keahlian utama dalam berinterkasi dengan Al-Qur’an, kemahiran tersebut ialah keterampilan membaca, menulis serta menghafal Al-Qur’an. Riset ini bertujuan guna menganalisis implementasi rasa cinta Al-Qur’an semenjak dini pada anak, hingga diadakan program literasi Al-Qur’an di Sd It Ummu Hafidzah Desa Citarum, Kab. Deli Serdang. Fokus kajian pada dua perihal ialah Pelaksanaan Literasi Al-Qur’an Pada Anak serta Keberdaya- gunaan Metode Literasi Al-Qur’an. Metode riset yang digunakan yakni kualitatif berbasis pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan informasi yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, serta riset dokumentasi. Informasi yang diproleh setelah itu dianalisis memakai metode Miles serta Huberman, ialah reduksi informasi, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Penemuan analisis menampilkan kalau program literasi Al-Qur’an bisa menambah keterampilan siswa membaca Al-Qur’an. Pola yang diterapkan dalam riset ini merupakan siswa membaca Al-Qur’an secara beramai- ramai di dalam lapangan sekolah sepanjang 35 menit serta di ruangan kelas. Dukungan penuh yang diberikan oleh segala masyarakat sekolah yang meliputi kepala sekolah, pendidik, staf, dan variabel pendukung luar yang berasal dari kondisi siswa itu sendiri, misalnya keluarga dalam melangsungkan latihan keterampilan ­­Al-Qur’an

Abstract

The scarcity of ulama is a major concern in Islamic education because the higher education system is no longer considered adequate to produce graduates with a deep understanding of religion according to the demands of the times. This research aims to analyze the ulama regeneration program in Medan, focusing on the existence, materials, learning strategies, and obstacles faced. This research was conducted at the Higher Education for the Cadre of Ulama of the Indonesian Ulama Council of North Sumatra and Al-Washliyah University. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman techniques supported by Atlas Ti software. The results revealed that in Islamic higher institutions in Medan City there are two ulama regeneration institutions, namely under the auspices of the Indonesian Ulama Council of North Sumatra which has been established since 2006 and under the auspices of Al-Washliyah University which was established in 2022. The dominant regeneration material is Islamic science based on classical Islamic books (turast). The dominant learning strategy is completing the book, supported by research and community service activities. In the implementation, there are internal constraints in the form of student input, budget limitations and external constraints are the misalignment of internal and government curricula. This research has implications for practical recommendations for Islamic higher education institutions to strengthen their capacity to produce competent scholars

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam di MIS Ar Rum Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi, di antaranya penguatan kurikulum berbasis Islam, peningkatan kompetensi guru, optimalisasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, serta penguatan budaya religius di lingkungan sekolah. Faktor-faktor pendukung strategi ini meliputi komitmen guru, partisipasi orang tua, serta fasilitas yang mendukung. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan anggaran dan kurangnya pelatihan berbasis digital bagi guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam dan dapat menjadi model bagi madrasah lain.

Abstract

Education that integrates Islamic studies and science is an important challenge in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, especially in the face of technological and scientific developments. This study aims to examine the implementation of an integrated Islamic studies and science-based learning model at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah MIS Al-Washliyah Labuhan Batu Utara and students' responses to the implementation of this model. This study employs a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that this learning model successfully connects scientific concepts with Islamic values, helping students understand science as part of Allah's creation. Students' responses to the learning model were highly positive, with increased motivation and a more holistic understanding of the relationship between science and religion. The implications of this study highlight the importance of developing a curriculum that integrates science and religion more comprehensively in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research contributes to the development of relevant learning models, enriches students' learning experiences, and enhances their understanding of both disciplines.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini adapun beberapa tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kecerdasan emosional mempengaruhi akhlak siswa di MTs Ali Imron, maka untuk mendapatkan jawaban dari rumusan masalah dan hipotesis yang telah yang susun maka pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, koesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap akhlak siswa sebesar 5406 dan dengan perolehan nilai besarnya pengaruh variabel x terhadap y, yaitu pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap akhlak siswa sebesar 10,81% mempengaruhi akhlak siswa menjadi lebih baik dikarenakan siswa sudah memahami dan sudah dapat mengendalikan dirinya menuju arah yang baik, selain itu berdasarkan dengan hasil hipotesis yang diperoleh yaitu Ha diterima bahwa benar adanya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap akhlak siswa MTs Ali Imron kecamatan Medan Tembung sebesar 62,416 yang mempengaruhi akhlak siswa.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem of the less than optimal application of a comprehensive evaluation model in measuring the success of the Islamic education curriculum in Islamic universities. The existing evaluation still focuses on academic achievement, while the moral, spiritual, and character building aspects of students have not been adequately assessed. This condition causes the goal of holistic Islamic education has not been achieved as a whole. This research was conducted in three universities, namely STAI Al-Hikmah Medan, STAI Al-Hikmah Tebing Tinggi, and STIT Al-Washliyah Binjai, with the aim of analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of the CIPP holistic evaluation model in each dimension—Context, Input, Process, and Product. The results showed that synergy between dimensions is the key to successful implementation of this model. When the context and input are strengthened and the learning process runs effectively, the educational outcomes are not only academically superior, but also shape the character and spirituality of students according to Islamic values. The implications of this research emphasize the need to develop an evaluation system that is oriented towards the balance between intellectual achievement and the formation of moral-spiritual values, so that Islamic universities are able to produce graduates with integrity, ethics, and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam penguatan pendidikan antikorupsi di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Pendidikan antikorupsi di sekolah sering kali hanya dipandang sebagai tanggung jawab umum, sementara peran khusus guru agama belum banyak diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat memperkuat pendidikan antikorupsi melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai agama dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan dan wawancara dengan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di beberapa SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru agama memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan integritas kepada siswa, baik dalam pembelajaran langsung maupun melalui keteladanan. Penulis menyarankan agar kurikulum pendidikan antikorupsi lebih mengakomodasi peran guru agama dan memberikan pelatihan yang lebih mendalam bagi mereka. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah menawarkan pendekatan praktis bagi guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai antikorupsi di dalam pembelajaran agama dan memberikan wawasan baru tentang pentingnya peran guru agama dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategies at vocational school of Bina Taruna Medan city and what are the challenges in implementing contextual teaching and learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes at vocational school of Bina Taruna Kota Medan. This research method is a qualitative research with a case study approach, the results of observations show that the application of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning strategies improves student learning outcomes. The improvement of student learning outcomes reflects the enthusiasm of students in taking lessons in class and is carried over to the test results of Islamic religious education subjects. The learning outcomes of Islamic religious education subjects are said to be classically complete.
