Abstract

This qualitative research aimed to look at how the principal’s management could improve student achievement in one private school. The research informants were the principal, deputy principal, teachers, and students. The researchers used observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis techniques consist of data collection, display, reduction, and conclusion. The results showed that the principal used SWOT analysis, setting goals, and establishing programs, arranged an organizational structure and divided tasks based on their respective responsibilities, provided a direction and guidance, adequate facilities and infrastructure. Also, the principal participated in competitions according to the school budget, encourages educators and motivation, used direct and indirect evaluation. Additionally, the principal had professional teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were inadequate educational support facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelaku individu dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Mixue, Lubuk Begalung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap Mixue Lubuk Begalung yang berjumlah 4 orang. Organisasi didirikan karena memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Organisasi, didirikan untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada pelanggan. Ketika karyawan melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka, mereka harus kinerja yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti dan menganalisis bagaimana budaya organisasi, komunikasi kerja, dan budaya kerja memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perilaku karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja dan budaya inovasi tidak berpengaruh. Namun budaya pengambilan risiko berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja. Dengan demikian, metode pengumpulan data wawancara dapat menghasilkan gambaran yang lebih mendalam mengenai pengaruh pelaku individu dan budaya organisasi pada kinerja karyawan. Abstract

Sistem Proteksi Gardu Induk merupakan sistem pengamanan yang dirancang untuk mengurangi dan membatasi kerugian yang ditimbulkan pada peralatan listrik akibat adanya gangguan. Penerapan sistem proteksi ini sangat penting untuk menjamin kelancaran penyaluran daya. Frekuensi gangguan dapat mempengaruhi efisiensi mekanisme proteksi di Gardu Induk. Gangguan dapat terjadi dengan frekuensi yang bervariasi pada transformator daya dan jaringan tegangan menengah (JTM). Penelitian difokuskan pada sistem proteksi Differential Relay (Alstom) dan Over Current Relay (Alstom) pada area transformator daya, serta sistem proteksi Over Current Relay (Alstom) pada jaringan tegangan menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grafik frekuensi gangguan yang berdampak pada sistem proteksi area transformator daya 2 di Gardu Induk 150 KV Siempat Rube terdiri dari gangguan teknis, gangguan non teknis, dan gangguan yang tidak diketahui penyebabnya. Sistem proteksi area transformator daya 2 Gardu Induk 150 KV Siempat Rube mempunyai persentase keandalan relai sebesar 100% yang menunjukkan sistem bekerja secara maksimal.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to assess the proficiency level of basic volleyball underhand passing techniques among female athletes of the Mayang VC club in Simalungun Regency in 2024. Underhand passing is a fundamental technique in volleyball, serving as the primary skill used to receive an opponent's serve. Materials and Methods: This research employs a survey method with a test-based approach. It is a descriptive study designed to evaluate the underhand passing technique proficiency of female athletes at the Mayang VC club. Data were collected through an underhand passing skill test and analyzed descriptively using minimum, maximum, mean, and standard deviation scores. Results: The findings indicate that the minimum score obtained was 3, the maximum score was 9, with an average score (mean) of 6.05 and a standard deviation of 2.06. The distribution of underhand passing skill levels was as follows: very good (1 athlete, 5%), good (10 athletes, 50%), moderate (3 athletes, 15%), poor (4 athletes, 20%), and very poor (2 athletes, 10%). Conclusions: Based on the results, it can be concluded that the overall proficiency level of the basic volleyball underhand passing technique among female athletes of the Mayang VC club in Simalungun Regency in 2024 falls within the "good" category.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing students’ academic writing skills, with a specific focus on English Education students at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive design within a phenomenological framework, the research examines the impact of AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Quillbot—on the quality of student writing, their knowledge development, and their perceptions of these technologies. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation involving 10 students from the second and fourth semesters. The results indicate that AI tools play a significant role in helping students generate ideas, refine grammar and structure, and increase overall writing efficiency. Nevertheless, the study also uncovers ethical challenges, including dependency on AI and risks of plagiarism. In general, students expressed favorable views of AI, considering it a beneficial aid rather than a substitute for critical thinking. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating AI in a balanced way to preserve originality, foster creativity, and uphold academic integrity.
