Abstract

Latar belakang : Konsumsi buah dan sayur merupakan salah satu kegiatan gerakan masyarakat hidup sehat (GERMAS) yang perlu diperhatikan untuk mewujudkan gizi seimbang, khususnya bagi remaja yang sedang mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Kekurangan konsumsi buah dan sayur dapat mengakibatkan berbagai masalah, salah satunya adalah masalah gizi yang banyak dijumpai pada remaja. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sosialisasi GERMAS melalui metode ceramah, pemaparan PowerPoint, video, dan benda asli terhadap perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur pada siswa SMP Kasih Depok.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre eksperimental, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Sampel sebanyak 67 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan Uji Wilcoxon pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05).Hasil: Didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 pada variabel pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan siswa terhadap konsumsi buah dan sayur.Kesimpulan: Ada perbedaan dan pengaruh pemberian sosialisasi GERMAS melalui ceramah, pemaparan PowerPoint, video dan benda asli terhadap GERMAS, pengetahuan terhadap konsumsi buah dan sayur, sikap, dan tindakan.Kata Kunci: buah, pengetahuan, sayur, sikap, tindakan The Effect Of Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (Germas) Socialization On Fruit And Vegetable Consumption Behavior For Teenagers AbstractBackground: Fruit and vegetable consumption is one of Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) activity that need to be considered to realize the balance of nutrition, especially for adolescents who are experiencing the process of growth and development. The deficiency of fruit and vegetable consumption will lead the adolescents to various problems, one of them is nutritional problem that often find in adolescents. This study aims to determine the effect of GERMAS socialization through lectures, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and real objects on fruit and vegetable consumption behavior in SMP Kasih Depok.Methods: this study use pre-experimental design, with purposive sampling technique. Samples were 67 students. Data analysis were using univariate and bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon Test at confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05).Result: The p-value was 0,000 on knowledge, attitude and action toward fruit and vegetable consumption.Conclusion: There were significant differences and effects of GERMAS socialization through lectures, PowerPoint, video presentations and real objects on knowledge variable of GERMAS, knowledge variable of fruit and vegetable consumption, attitude variable, and action variable. Abstract

Pada tahun 2022, pemerintah mengkampanyekan ‘Sekolah Sehat’ yang bertemakan Revitalisasi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dengan salah satu targetnya adalah Sekolah Dasar (SD), yang didasari oleh kekhawatiran terkait masalah kesehatan anak Indonesia. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan UKS di SD X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi dengan form ceklis dan wawancara mendalam terhadap kegiatan yang terkait dengan tujuan dari Sekolah Sehat, yakni penjaringan kesehatan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala, pendidikan gizi, aktivitas fisik, dan imunisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan UKS dalam penerapan program Sekolah Sehat tahun 2022 di SD X secara keseluruhan telah terlaksana dengan baik tetapi masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian dengan Modul Implementasi UKS di Satuan Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar dan Penerapan Trias UKS dalam Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas di Masa Pandemi. Belum terbaruinya pedoman UKS dan keterbatasan sarana menyebabkan tidak optimalnya pelaksanaan beberapa kegiatan. Saran untuk SD X adalah untuk memperbaharui pedoman UKS agar pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam perwujudan Sekolah Sehat dapat terlaksana dengan optimal.

Abstract

Sikap responsif seorang anak terhadap ibunya merupakan salah satu sikap yang akan terbentuk melalui pola pengasuhan. Pola asuh tidak terlepas dari karakterstik dalam diri orang tua, terlebih ibu. Karakteristik tersebut memberi warna dalam pola asuh yang diterapkan pada anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, studi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara karakteristik ibu dengan sikap responsif pada anak. Studi ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode online survey dan wawancara yang disertai observasi. Subjek studi sebanyak 88 responden. Sikap responsif anak dilihat dari reaksi yang kuat selama berinteraksi dengan ibu maupun bertutur atau berceloteh dengan ibu atau pengasuh. Sebagian besar responden berusia 18-35 tahun (64,8%), memiliki pendidikan yang rendah dan menengah (85,2%), dan tidak bekerja (84,1%). Hasil uji chi square dan regresi logistik sederhana menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara status pekerjaan ibu dengan sikap responsif anak, dimana anak dari ibu yang bekerja memiliki kemungkinan lebih besar untuk bersikap responsif, baik dilihat dari reaksi yang kuat selama interaksi (OR=3,9; 95% CI=0,998-15,013; p<0,05) maupun bertutur kata dalam 5 detik setelah perkataan ibu (OR=3,5; 95% CI=0,995-12,081; p<0,05). Pada penelitian ini, tidak terbukti adanya hubungan antara usia ibu (p=0.803) dan pendidikan ibu (p=0.066) dengan sikap responsif anak. Dari hasil studi ini, disarankan bagi ibu yang bekerja untuk mengatur waktu supaya tetap kondusif dalam mengasuh anak karena status ibu bekerja mempengaruhi sikap responsif anak.

Abstract

Students often have difficulty understanding science concepts in depth because learning is still centered on lecturers. The project-based learning (PjBL) model is an approach that emphasizes the active involvement of students in completing tasks relevant to real-world contexts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the PjBL model in improving students' understanding of science learning materials. The research method employed a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires with 36 students from the Tadris IPA Study Program in their fourth semester at UIN Madura. The results showed that the majority of students felt an increase in conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and collaborative skills after participating in project-based learning. These finding suggest that the PjBL model can be an effective alternative for enhancing the quality of science learning in higher education.

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by impaired insulin secretion or resistance, which frequently remains undiagnosed until complications develop, and persistent hyperglycemia contributes to multisystem damage, particularly involving vascular, neural, renal, and integumentary systems, with major risk factors including family history, obesity, unhealthy dietary patterns, and physical inactivity; in this context, a 63-year-old woman presented with blistering lesions on the left hallux accompanied by swelling, pain, and paresthesia, with a medical history of hypertension, irregular eating habits, insufficient physical activity, and a familial predisposition to diabetes, while physical examination revealed a body mass index of 26.84 kg/m² with stable vital signs, and random blood glucose was 328 mg/dL, confirming severe hyperglycemia and establishing the diagnosis of T2DM, for which management encompassed pharmacological therapy (metformin, glimepiride, amlodipine, antibiotics, analgesics), patient education, psychosocial support, and lifestyle modification, and following comprehensive intervention the patient demonstrated improved disease awareness, enhanced family support, and better adherence to lifestyle changes, with outcomes emphasizing stabilization of glycemic levels, prevention of further complications, and improvement in overall quality of life, thereby underscoring the significance of a multidisciplinary approach in T2DM management that integrates medical therapy, education, psychosocial support, and behavioral as well as environmental modifications, and highlighting that such comprehensive strategies are essential to achieve optimal glycemic control and reduce the risk of long-term complications, while also illustrating the clinical relevance of early detection and holistic intervention in patients with diabetes who present with foot lesions, since these manifestations often indicate advanced disease progression and require coordinated care to prevent disability and improve prognosis, and ultimately this case contributes to the growing evidence that effective diabetes management must extend beyond pharmacological treatment to encompass patient-centered education, psychosocial reinforcement, and lifestyle restructuring, thereby offering a model of integrated care that can be applied more broadly in clinical practice to enhance outcomes in individuals living with T2DM.

Abstract

Background: Nurturing care within the home environment is fundamental to early childhood development. Parenting style may influence caregiver-provided stimulation, a key component of nurturing care. This study aimed to examine the association between authoritative parenting style and caregiver stimulation as forms of nurturing care among Indonesian preschool-age children. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 among 382 parents of children aged 3 to 6 years enrolled in kindergartens in Jakarta. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires, including the Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) and the Index of Child Care Environment (ICCE). Multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to assess the association between authoritative parenting style and adequate caregiver stimulation, adjusting for parent working status, parent age, parent gender, and number of children in the household. Results: The mean age of the children was 60.4 months (SD = 13.87), and 50.5% were boys. The regression analysis showed that an authoritative parenting style was significantly associated with higher odds of sufficient caregiver stimulation (adjusted OR = 2.61, 95% CI: 1.40–4.88; p < 0.005). Conclusions: Authoritative parenting style was positively associated with caregiver stimulation among preschool-aged children in Jakarta. Parents may consider adopting parenting approaches that support optimal early childhood development.
