Abstract

Keterampilan menulis teks prosedur dipelajari di kelas VII dan peneliti ingin membantu guru untuk memetakan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Rejang Lebong. Salah satu potensi siswa adalah kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dari aspek struktur teks prosedur dan siswa juga dilengkapi dengan sarana dan prasarana pendukung sekolah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara umum dan khusus keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong yang berjumlah 341 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling, yaitu 15 persen dari populasi atau 50 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang diberikan kepada siswa untuk menulis teks prosedur. Kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dinilai dari lima aspek, yaitu isi, struktur, diksi, penggunaan kalimat, dan mekanik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik sederhana dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong dalam menulis teks prosedur adalah 82,63 yang tergolong baik. Hal ini berdasarkan rerata sebesar 82,63 yang juga berarti bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan menulis teks prosedur yang baik tetapi belum optimal. Hasil penelitian secara khusus bahwa aspek (1) isi termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata 25,38, (2) aspek struktur termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata 16,99, (3) aspek diksi termasuk dengan kategori baik dengan rata-rata 16,59, (4) aspek penggunaan kalimat termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata 16,26, (5) aspek mekanik termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata 7,51.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific work in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. This research uses a quantitative approach with pseudo-experimental methods. The design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu with a sample using random sampling, namely class XI MIPA 1 totaling 33 students. Data collection techniques use essay test techniques. Data analysis techniques by means of normality tests using the Shapiro-Wilk test, homogeneity tests using the f test, and paired samples tests. Based on the results of the study, a pretest score was obtained with an average of 44.18 and a posttest score was obtained with an average of 65.69. In the application of the problem-based learning model has 5 learning steps, namely orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work, and analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. The results showed that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific papers. This is evidenced by the results of the t,T-count test. > ,T-table. , then Ho was rejected which means that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific papers.

Abstract

The Problem Based Learning model is an innovative and participatory learning model in the Independent Curriculum which emphasizes solving real problems to increase student involvement and learning effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to describe how the Problem Based Learning approach is used to manage folk poetry learning courses (pantun) in the autonomous curriculum of SMPN 11 Bengkulu City. This type of research is qualitative and uses a descriptive method. The data in this study is the management of folk poetry (pantun) learning class activities carried out by Indonesian teachers in class VII H at SMPN 11 Bengkulu City. The data sources are teachers and students in Indonesian learning for grade VIIH students at SMPN 11 Bengkulu City. The data collection method was carried out through interviews, documentation, video recording, and observation. In this study, the data analysis technique was carried out using the steps of recording while observing the teacher who was teaching, recording evidence of activities related to the problem being studied, analyzing data, analysing data, clarifying data, interpreting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the management of folk poetry learning classes (pantun) using the Promblem Based Learning model in the independent curriculum at SMPN 11 Bengkulu City related to Problem Based Learning has been carried out using Problem Based Learning syntax such as orientation, regulating students, supervising individual and group research, presenting discussion findings, and assessing and analyzing the problem-solving process. Classroom management is demonstrated by the way the instructor organizes the class and creates a welcoming environment for learning. Students' responses to questions, group study sessions, and participation in completing assignments given by teachers are indicators of their level of learning engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the students’ skill in writing anecdote texts with educational themes among tenth-grade students (Class X B1) of SMA Negeri 06 Bengkulu City. The research employed a quantitative method. The population consisted of all 34 students of Class X B1, and the sample included the same number of students. The data were collected through a writing test and analyzed using the mean score formula. The results showed that the students’ skill in writing anecdote texts with educational themes was categorized as poor, with an average score of 50.00. Based on three assessed aspects, the results were as follows: (1) text structure obtained an average score of 18.08 (fair category); (2) content relevance to the theme reached an average score of 13.08 (fair category); and (3) linguistic accuracy based on the Indonesian Spelling System (EYD) obtained an average score of 14.63 (fair category).
