Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the management of handmade training programs in PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The research site is located in PKBM Rumpun Aksara Panti Jember using a purposive area technique. The technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data used was increased persistence, extended observations and triangulation in the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis used the theory of Miles and Hubarman by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results showed that the planning activities in the handmade training in PKBM Rumpun Aksara were carried out in a structured and systematic way, starting from identifying needs, to making learning lesson plans, as well as determining methods and media carried out by the training instructor. The implementation of the handmade training program has been running according to the predetermined plan. Meanwhile, the evaluation activity for the handmade training is holding a meeting with the instructor who discusses the implementation of the program. While the evaluation of the learning community by conducting an assessment of the process, results, level of interest of learning residents and the impact of handmade training for learning residents.

Abstract

In this modern era, there are many problems that arise in the community, one of them is the difficulties to find a job because of lack experience. Training is very important to our lives. Nowdays, there are a lot of training institutes. However, the majority of the training institutions are located on the town while Therefore, come up a innovation that is Mobile Training Units (MTU) that will be an innovation for them who are still got difficulties to reach the training location. This research used a qualitative. UPT BLK Jember is a research area using purposive area, observations, interviews, and documentations. The technique of determining the research participants is using  a snowball sampling, then the informant is the management and participant . The data analysis is done by using Miles and Huberman models i.e. data collection, data reduction, data percentation, and conclusions. The conclusion of this research is management that is conducted by the instructor of UPT BLK has been effective and efficient in empowering the trainees.

Abstract

Upaya mengoptimalkan perkembangan kemandirian pada anak usia dini yaitu salah satunya dari pola asuh orang tuanya sendiri, karena kemandirian anak setiap anak berbeda-beda pada kelompok bermain. Sehingga rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adakah hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian anak di kelompok bermain (KB) Tunas Mulya, Desa Dasri, Kabupaten Banyuwangi? Tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kemandirian anak di kelompok bermain (KB). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional, teknik penentuan responden menggunakan teknik populasi dengan jumlah responden 15, pengumpulan data melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan tata jenjang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pola asuh orang tua menunjukan adanya hubungan antara pola asuhorang tua dengan kemandirian anak usia dini, dapat dilihat dari hasil r hitung sebesar 0.942 dengan r tabel 0.506, maka r hitung lebih besar daripada r tabel. Sehingga disarankan untuk pendidik kelompok bermain lebih memperhatikan keaktifan belajar dan kemandirian anak. Kata Kunci:Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Kemandirian Anak

Abstract

Pembinaan karang taruna dengan model transformative learning dilakukan karena masih ditemukannya karang taruna yang berada pada kondisi fakum dan kurangnya partisipasi pemuda yang berdampak terhadap keberdayaan pemuda. Sehingga menyebabkan karang taruna on/off. Pada penelitian ini, rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana dampak pembinaan karang taruna dengan model Transformative Learning terhadap keberdayaan pemuda di Karang Taruna Hasta Jaya Kelurahan Jember Lor Kecamatan Patrang Kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis data kualitatif. Teknik perolehan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis merumuskan masalah, sebelum di lapangan, serta analisis Model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak pembinaan karang taruna dengan model transformative learning mencakup dampak instruksional dan dampak pengiring terjadi pada pemuda Karang Taruna Hasta Jaya dimana dampak tersebut memberikan perubahan dan peningkatan terhadap keberdayaan pemuda yang meliputi potensi dan peran aktif pemuda.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Differentiated Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on elementary school students’ learning achievement in the topic of deforestation within the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS). The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The participants were 47 upper-grade students, 27 Student from SDN Rowotengah 03 and 20 student SDN Rowotengah 04 in Jember Regency. The experimental group (27 students) was taught using the differentiated PjBL model, while the control group (20 students) received conventional instruction. Instruments included a rubric-based observation for a multiple-choice test for learning outcomes. Descriptive analysis showed that the experimental group had higher learning achievement (82.75) compared to the control group (71.43 and 70.91, respectively). Independent sample t-tests revealed significant differences between the groups for variables (p < 0.05). These results indicate that the implementation of the differentiated PjBL model has a significant positive impact on improving elementary students’ social-emotional skills and academic achievement.

Abstract

Komunitas lentera desa merupakan komunitas sosial yang memberikan fasilitas pada masyarakat sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Hal ini menjadi acuan komunitas lentera desa memiliki peran dalam memberikan keterampilan terhadap kelompok ibu-ibu PKK di Curahtakir Jember dalam meningkatkan keterampilan melalui program pelatihan pengolahan biji karet. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran komunitas lentera desa dalam meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK melalui pengolahan biji karet di Desa Curahtakir Jember. Metode penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peran komunitas yang dilakukan oleh pihak komunitas lentera desa yaitu berupa peran fasilitatif, edukatif, dan refresentatif. Pada setiap peran tersebut komunitas lentera desa menghasikilkan beberapa peran guna meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Curahtakir, yaitu pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan perubahan pola pikir.
