Abstract

Lembaga pemerintah sudah seharusnya memenuhi tuntutan terkait pelayanannnya yang berkualitas untuk seluruh masayarakat. Hal inilah merupakan wujud dari sebagaian bentuk tata kelola pemerintahan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat dan juga dikenal dengan wujud Good government governance). Salah satu desa di kabupaten jember lebih tepatnya yakni desa tegalsari kecamatan ambulu yang merupakan salah satu desa binaan bagi prodi pendidikan masyarakat universitas jember merupakan salah satu desa yang sudah menjadi tempat sasaran penyelenggaran program-program permodelan keilmuan serta tempat penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Beberapa masalah yang berkaitan dengan kualitas pelayanan publik bagi masyarakat yaitu tingkat proses keterbukaan dan interaksi antara pemerintah desa dengan warga yang belum maksimal, belum adanya media sebagai wadah pengaduan keluhan/aspirasi masyarakat, sehingga belum bisa tersampaikan dan tertampung dengan baik. Maka hal ini membuat permasalahan yang dialami warga tidak dapat tertangani dengan baik oleh pemerintah desa sebagai pelayan masyarakat. Factor penyebabnya adalah khusunya bagi masyarakat yang lokasi tempat tinggalnya dengan kantor desa cukup jauh. Sedangkan pihak BPD pengurusan surat yang masih dilakukan secara manual juga sangat menyita waktu masyarakat. Hasil identifikasi kebutuhan banyak kebutuhan pada masyarakat perlu penanganan/respon yang cepat. Tidak jarang warga kehilangan kesabaran untuk pengurusan administrasi tersebut. Karena beberapa surat keterangan bersifat darurat, misalnya: surat keterangan tidak mampu ketika warga mengalami kendala pembayaran di rumah sakit, surat pengantar keterangan kelakuan baikdan juga berbagai kasus surat pengantar lainnya.

Abstract

Partnership is a collaboration between two or more partner that jointly benefit each other to build joint collaboration in activity program using the pentahelix model partnership. Pentahelix which consist of 5 stakeholders GBCAM (Government, Business, Community, Academy, Media). The collaboration partner between Solo Technopark and Bukalapak is signed with a cooperation agreement and MoU (memorandum of Understanding) that is legally valid and exsiting SOPs. Activities are conducted in the form of workshops and webinar. This activity was implemented because many business actors did not really understand about marketing. That way Solo Technopark and Bukalapak want to make MSME actors more advanced and able to improve human resources through workshops and webinar. Presented material in the form of 4P’s marketing mix consisting of product, process, place, and promotion. With the aim that thet are able to absorb the material presented and can improve marketing competencies to compete with the current market. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach to obtain in-depth information and based on facts in the field during this research. The result showed that the partnership with the pentahelix model can be carries out well. Workshops and webinar activities are able to provide MSME actors with increased marketing competence in the form of knowledge and skills.

Abstract

The Suco Village Government of Jember Regency has a Productive Suco Village Program, this program is held in order to improve the quality of HR (Human Resources) in Suco Village. This program has a collaboration with PKBM Nurul Huda to provide free learning opportunities to RT and RW heads through the role of equality education. This research was conducted in Suco Village and PKBM Nurul Huda. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity tests include credibility tests, transferability tests, dependability tests and objectivity tests. Data analysis consists of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study stated that the Productive Suco Village program in improving the quality of HR (Human Resources) in Suco Village, Jember Regency was running quite well and was said to be successful because it saw the results of the development of learning residents as indicated by changes in knowledge and skills from before and after participating in this program.

Abstract

Strategies to improve children’s speaking skills that are good and appropriate need to be known and understhood by educators, so that the potentials of children’s speaking abilities can increase optimally according to the stages of their development. The purpose of this study was to describe storytelling methods in improving speaking skills aged 2-4 years at KB Yasmin, Jember Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Determining the research location using a purposive area. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques to check the validity of the data using extended observations, increased persistence and triangulation. Data analysis tenhniques use data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of the study show that will be applied so that students are interested snd enjoy listening to stories. The implementation of this storytelling method was successful in improving students’ speaking skills. Especially for the Lumajang groups of students who previously could not speak and now can speak.

Abstract

The potential of the Lumajang area in the food agriculture sector is the Kirana banana. Lumajang city, which is famous for producing the best Kirana bananas, has not been supported by a large production level and superior banana quality, so that this potential is not seen as a promising job field for farmers. This study was designed to follow the rules of qualitative research using a case study research design, the selection of research sites was carried out using a purposive area technique based on certain considerations. With 3 informants using purposive sampling technique, research informants are agribusiness training managers, training instructors, and Kirana banana farmers. Data collection techniques are through unstructured interviews, participatory and unstructured observations, as well as documentation in the form of photos, notes, and voice recordings. In analyzing research data, the researcher adopts a qualitative approach which is generally inductive. The results showed that the management activities in this training applied George R. Terry's theory with 4 management functions, namely planning, management, implementation, and evaluation. Related to improving the competence of farmers, this training discusses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that must be possessed by farmers

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the policy to accelerate stunting reduction as an effort to develop public health carried out by the Family Planning Counseling Center in Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through data collection in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique consisting of 2 family planning instructors, Head of Family Welfare and Resilience, Head of BKB, and TPK. The validity of the data in this study used extended observations, increased persistence, and triangulation consisting of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Then the data analysis technique using the Miles & Huberman model analysis includes collection, reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Furthermore, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of the policy to accelerate stunting reduction is carried out by the Family Planning Counseling Center as an effort to develop public health through outreach activities in the form of health promotion and training on the ELSIMIL application to prevent the risk of stunting

Abstract

It is necessary to build awareness to foster entrepreneurial motivation among the community at large, especially in the Study Group of Packages C citizens in the Technical Implementation Unit of the Education Office of the Bondowoso Regency Learning Activity Studio (SKB). Given that motivation is one of the drivers of the growth and development of a person's entrepreneurial spirit, one of the most needed motivations is the desire to continue learning and adding skills. Therefore, in order for the learning community to improve their welfare, insight into entrepreneurship is needed, so that through counseling on entrepreneurial motivation, it is hoped that the learning community can foster an entrepreneurial spirit and develop creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship so that it can be used as a provision in their lives. This service activity was carried out at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Bondowoso Regency Learning Activity Center education office, which was located in the SKB Hall. The objectives of this community service are (1) to provide insight and knowledge about the importance of fostering entrepreneurial motivation; (2) to provide insight and knowledge about the importance of developing an entrepreneurial spirit; (3) to develop creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship. The methods used are lecture, question and answer and discussion methods. the results achieved by the service activities are the provision of insights and knowledge about the importance of entrepreneurship for learning citizens pursuing package C in the Technical Implementation Unit of the Education Office of the Bondowoso Regency Learning Activity Center. Thus, through counseling, the learning community of pursuing package C is motivated to become entrepreneurs. Seeing the responses given by participants who are so positive and enthusiastic, shows that this activity is quite high and needs to be followed up with further activities, for that, it needs to be carried out periodically and continuously.

Abstract

In modern times today there are many problems that arise in society, one of which is the difficulty in finding a job due to lack of provisions or experience. Training is very important for our lives. Nowadays there are very many training institutions that have begun to emerge in big cities, therefore a new innovation has emerged, namely the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) for those who are difficult to reach the training location. This study used a qualitative research approach. UPT Jember Regency Job Training Center as a research site using purposive area, observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the technique of determining research informants using snowball sampling, the key informants of this research are MTU program managers, and supporting informants are MTU participants. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The conclusion of this study is that the management carried out by instructors from UPT Job Training Center has been effective and efficient in empowering trainees.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe how the handmade training program is managed at PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research location was located at PKBM Rumpun Aksara Panti Jember using purposive area techniques. The technique for determining informants uses Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity checking techniques used are increased persistence, extended observations and triangulation in the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis uses Miles and Hubarman's theory by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The research results show that planning activities in handmade training at PKBM Rumpun Aksara are carried out in a structured and systematic manner, starting from identifying needs, to making learning lesson plans, as well as determining the methods and media carried out by the training instructor. The activities for implementing the handmade training program have been running according to the plans that have been determined. Meanwhile, evaluation activities for handmade training include holding meetings with instructors to discuss program implementation. Meanwhile, evaluation of learning residents involves assessing the process, results, level of interest of learning residents and the impact of handmade training on learning residents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the management of handmade training programs in PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The research site is located in PKBM Rumpun Aksara Panti Jember using a purposive area technique. The technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data used was increased persistence, extended observations and triangulation in the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis used the theory of Miles and Hubarman by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results showed that the planning activities in the handmade training in PKBM Rumpun Aksara were carried out in a structured and systematic way, starting from identifying needs, to making learning lesson plans, as well as determining methods and media carried out by the training instructor. The implementation of the handmade training program has been running according to the predetermined plan. Meanwhile, the evaluation activity for the handmade training is holding a meeting with the instructor who discusses the implementation of the program. While the evaluation of the learning community by conducting an assessment of the process, results, level of interest of learning residents and the impact of handmade training for learning residents.
