Abstract

Teknologi dan Informasi merupakan dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan saat ini. Hal ini terlihat dari proses untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dapat diperoleh secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat dengan didukung oleh kemajuan teknologi yang semakin canggih. PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (persero) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa transportasi yang sampai saat ini masih banyak di gunakan oleh masyararakat . Saat ini dalam proses pengolahan data, terutama untuk mengelolah surat masuk dan surat keluar masih dilakukan dengan cara pencatatan ke dalam buku agenda sehingga dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan pihak pimpinan dalam memproses kegiatan yang akan direncanakan.metode yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode waterfall. Metode waterfall memiliki beberapa tahapan yang terstruktur yaitu: requirement, design, implementation, verification dan maintenance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem informasi pengelolaan surat sehingga dapat mengatasi keterlambatan tentang informasi surat masuk dan surat keluar agar dapat disposisikan ke tempat yang sesuai dengan unit – unit kerja yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan berbasis web di Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pengelolaan data perpustakaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, seperti kesalahan pencatatan, kesulitan pencarian data, serta keterlambatan penyusunan laporan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan pengembangan sistem informasi yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan mitra, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, serta evaluasi dan pendampingan penggunaan sistem. Sistem dirancang menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dan diimplementasikan dengan teknologi berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi perpustakaan yang dibangun mampu mengotomatisasi proses pencatatan pengunjung, peminjaman, pengelolaan data buku, serta penyusunan laporan secara lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kinerja administrasi perpustakaan serta mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan informasi di Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan.

Abstract

Efficient and integrated academic data management is a crucial need in the digital era, especially at the Junior High School level. This study aims to develop a web-based academic information system at State Junior High School 4 Rambutan to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of overall school academic data management. The development method used is the prototype method which involves iterative interactions between developers and users through the stages of gathering needs, creating an initial prototype, evaluating by users, and refining the system until it is ready for implementation. The developed system has key features in the form of student data management, attendance, assessments, lesson schedules, and academic reports that can be accessed in real-time by the school, students, and parents. The development results show that the prototype method allows the creation of a system that is more suited to user needs, speeds up the administrative process, reduces the potential for manual errors, and increases the transparency of academic information. With an intuitive and web-based interface, this system can be accessed on various devices, providing a modern solution to support the quality of education at State Junior High School 4 Rambutan.

Abstract

Small businesses often handle customer questions through manual replies via chat applications or phone calls, causing repetitive work, delayed responses, and inconsistent information delivery. This study proposes a web-based FAQ chatbot that answers user questions by performing semantic search over an Indonesian FAQ knowledge base and ranking the most relevant response. The chatbot applies a lightweight information retrieval approach using TF-IDF vectorization and cosine similarity to compute the relevance score between the user query and FAQ entries (question and tags). The system then selects the top-ranked FAQ entry and returns its associated answer, meaning the semantic matching is performed at the question-to-question level, not directly between questions and answers. The top results are ranked, and the chatbot returns the best answer along with a confidence score and the top three candidate questions to increase transparency. If the score is below a predefined threshold, the system provides a fallback response and suggests related topics rather than forcing an incorrect answer. The system is implemented as a PHP–MySQL web application with an administrator dashboard that supports secure login, FAQ CRUD management, chat logging, and usage analytics. Functional verification is conducted using black-box testing across main modules, including authentication, FAQ management, chatbot interaction, logging, and analytics dashboards. The expected contribution of this work is a practical and low-cost chatbot solution that can be deployed by small businesses to reduce repetitive customer service workload, accelerate response time, and provide measurable service insights through log-based analytics. Future improvements include expanding the knowledge base, enhancing Indonesian text normalization, and adopting embedding-based retrieval for better semantic matching.

Abstract

Abstract : SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung is one of the public junior high schools in Muara Enim Regency that experiences an increase in the number of new student registrants every year. Based on school administrative data, the number of prospective students in the 2024 school year was recorded at 466 students and increased to 687 students in the 2025 school year. However, the New Student Admission System (SPMB) process is still carried out manually using registration forms that must be obtained and filled out directly at the school. This situation causes various problems, such as limited service time, backlogs of applicants, the risk of data loss or damage, and inefficient data management and storage processes. This study aims to develop a website-based New Student Admission Information System (SPMB) at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung that can manage the registration process in an integrated manner, starting from online registration, filling in prospective student data, uploading required files, administrative selection, to the announcement of admission results. The system development method used is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the SPMB committee, facilitate parents or guardians of prospective students in registering, and improve the quality of data management and information services at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung in a transparent and structured manner. Keywords: Information System, New Student Admission, Website, Waterfall
