Abstract

Pasar Tarif Pelayaran Curah Kering dikenal sebagai pasar yang berisiko tinggi dan bervolatilitas, hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya ketidak pastian yang mempengaruhi, mulai dari kondisi ekonomi dunia, politik, teknologi, hingga sensitivitas sentimen pasar, yang menarik untuk diteliti. Banyak penelitian telah dilakukan salah satunya adalah mengenai hubungan peramalan sebagai alat yang bisa mengurangi risiko ketidakpastian. Penelitian ini mencoba meramalkan indeks tarif angkutan pelayaran curah kering (BDI) menggunakan pemodelan sistem dinamik dengan menggunakan data variabel untuk periode 1991 sampai 2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai pembentukan tarif angkutan di pelayaran curah kering dan kemudian atas gambaran tersebut dilakukan pemodelan untuk meramalkan tarif ke depannya. Sehingga diharapkan dengan adanya informasi mengenai tarif di masa depan akan memungkinkan bagi para pelaku industri untuk mengantisipasi volatilitas dan dapat meminimalkan risiko daripadanya. Regresi Linier, analisis deret waktu dan model dinamik permintaan/penawaran dibahas untuk mengidentifikasi metode yang tepat untuk meramalkan tingkat harga di pasar tarif. Setelah model diuji validitasnya, dua skenario yang menitikberatkan pada pertumbuhan kapal dijalankan guna meramalkan tingkat BDI dari tahun 2017 sampai 2020, dan hasilnya menunjukkan pada skenario dengan pertumbuhan armada kapal nol persen ternyata BDI sangat cepat kenaikannya, sedangkan pada skenario sedang dengan laju pertumbuhan armada kapal sekitar 6,93% per tahunnya menunjukkan bahwa BDI sulit mengalami kenaikan walaupun di tahun 2017 sempat naik 73% namun di tahun berikutnya kembali mengalami penurunan akibat pertumbuhan armada kapal yang tak sebanding dengan kenaikan jumlah permintaan yang hanya di kisaran 3,7% per tahunnya. Sehingga kesimpulannya adalah pertumbuhan armada kapal cukup penting dalam mempengaruhi fluktuasi BDI, dan kondisi BDI saat ini akan sulit naik dari level rendahnya jika ada tidak ada usaha dari para pemilik kapal untuk mengurangi jumlah armada yang ada di pasaran

Abstract

A shipping company was assigned to deliver heavy cargo owned by electric steam power plant, PLTU SUMSEL-8. The company should prepare the necessary facilities and infrastructure to ensure a smooth delivery. The research purpose is to analyze the impact of facility and infrastructure readiness on the smooth transport of heavy cargo mediated by the supervision of the shipping company. The study used a Quantitative method with data collected through Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to a sample of 30 operational employees directly involved in the task. The data analysis was conducted using Path Analysis. The result shows a positive and significant influence of facility and infrastructure readiness on the supervision provided by the company. However, there is a less significant direct influence of the facilities and infrastructure readiness of the heavy cargo smooth transportation that could be interpreted as the possibility of other factors determine the smooth transportation apart from the facilities and infrastructure readiness.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that information regarding the loading and unloading process is not conveyed in detail to service users by the ship agency company and also the lack of relationship building between service users and the ship agency company will have an impact on customer satisfaction. The aim of the research is to find out and analyze the main attributes in the company’s service quality, and service user satisfaction as well as what strategies can be used to improve the service quality performance of the PT Bahari Eka Nusantara Company. The research method used is the Customer Satisfaction Index and the Importance Performance Analysis method with respondents namely PT customers. Bahari Eka Nusantara. The research results show that the customer satisfaction index value is 86.65% which is included in the very satisfied criteria and the service attribute that has the most influence on service user satisfaction is that the company can solve problems smoothly. Trust in customers is in line with customer expectations and if problems occur in the loading and unloading process the company always responds quickly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal route for the delivery of Samsung Electronics goods from Distribution Center (DC) to Retail Stores in the Jabodetabek area. DC functions as a warehouse to deliver goods to the customers. In the distribution of goods to each customer, unoptimal routes is a problem being faced company. This study was designs to determination of the delivery route using the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP), the Saving Heuristics model. The results show that the mileage is reduced by 19% (107 km), with fuel savings of 20.1% and the total time is reduced by 22.6% or 3.3 hours.

Abstract

Domestic CBU flows at Car Terminal of Tanjung Priok Port are increasing. This resulting in a decrease of utilization in the open field at domestic car terminals. This can lead to excessive cost increases and also cause congestion in the Tanjung Priok Port area. Therefore, the Car Terminal at Patimban Port was built with the aim of reducing logistics costs caused by congestion at Tanjung Priok Port. This study aims to describe the competitiveness based on logistics performance and the right marketing strategy to be applied at the Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port in 2021.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an approach using Resource Based View (RBV) analysis, Politic, Economics, Social, Technology, Legal,and Environment Analysis PESTLE analysis and Five Forces Porter Model Analysis. Furthermore, to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Domestic Car Terminal at Patimban Port SWOT analysis and also 7 P's Marketing Mix was used to determine the right marketing strategy. The results of this study reveal that The Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port doesn’t have competitiveness yet according to Porter Competitiveness indicator. Therefore, marketing strategy has been identified and developed for the sustainable of Domestik Car Terminal business in Patimban Port. In terms of logistics performance, the Domestic Car Terminal facility is one of the strength factors for the Domestic Car Terminal of Patimban Port.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and obtain an in-depth description and understanding of the problems that cause delays in the arrival of imported goods (NoA) via air cargo, as a company engaged in cargo and warehouse rental PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta provides the best service in carrying out import activities. , as well as loading and unloading activities, document preparation, and communication between shippers. The research method in writing this thesis is to take certain objects to be analyzed and understood by focusing on a problem. By using the Six Sigma method, it is hoped that it will be possible to make improvements and improvements as well as continuous improvements to the problems studied.

Abstract

Line Balancing is an assignment of a number of jobs into interconnected work stations in one line or assembly line with the aim of minimizing idle time on the hydraulic excavator assembly line, the assembly line specification has 27 work stations with 150 work elements. In the process of assembling the hydraulic excavator, there was an overtime that exceeded the takt time at work station 18 (BF 04), which resulted in the failure to achieve the production target of 5 units/day. One way to overcome this problem is to apply the line balancing method on the hydraulic excavator assembly line, the approach used is the Regional Approach, Ranked Positional Weight, and Largest Candidate Rules. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the Ranked Positional Weight approach has the best value with the number of work stations 18, line efficiency of 95.70%, balance delay of 4.30% and idle time of 66.84 minutes and also has good results. better than the initial conditions before the line balancing method was applied.
