Abstract

The history of Church reform in the sixteenth century has had an impact on various fields of life, one of which is theology. The Sola Scriptura principle is an important pillar in reform. But at this time there are many elements who claim to apply the principle of Sola Scriptura just because it quotes a verse. There are even individuals in the evangelical church who ignore this principle. Through this paper try to give a thought about the implementation of the principle of sola Scriptura by the Reformers of the XVI century, especially the thoughts of Martin Luther and John Calvin. So that theologians may relearn how to apply the principle of sola scriptura in accordance with the spirit of reform.

Abstract

At present there are many moral deviations in human life. Moral deviations have permeated the human life, namely: in the fields of politics, economics, education, art, philosophy and the church. These deviations occur because of a lack of complete understanding of immorality. Therefore through this paper we will present phenomenologically moral deviations in several aspects of human life, then in this paper will discuss the roots of the phenomenon of moral deviance in a biblical-systematic manner. Because the author believes that the fact of immorality was present at the time of the Bible (PL & amp; NT) and the Bible also provides facts about how God responds to the events of immorality that occur. So that through this writing believers can determine attitudes toward current immorality events according to how God stands in the Bible.

Abstract

Perpecahan sering kali sulit diatasi oleh karena seorang pemimpin yang cerdas, meski memiliki pandangan teologi yang salah, karakter yang buruk namun memiliki kemampuan sosial yang baik, bisa menyebabkan perpecahan menjadi besar. Paulus mendorong jemaat untuk hidup dalam satu kasih, satu tujuan, dan satu pikiran sebagai wujud nyata dari persekutuan yang didasarkan pada pengalaman bersama akan kasih Kristus dan kehadiran Roh Kudus. Kesatuan yang dimaksud tidak hanya bersifat struktural, tetapi juga spiritual dan relasional, yang diwujudkan melalui sikap rendah hati, saling mengutamakan, dan teladan hidup Yesus Kristus yang rela mengosongkan diri dan menjadi hamba. Ajaran Paulus ini tetap relevan dan menjadi fondasi untuk membangun komunitas iman yang kuat, harmonis, dan mencerminkan kasih Kristus. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai teologis dan praktis dari Filipi 2:1-11 serta menguraikan implikasinya bagi pembentukan kesatuan gereja di tengah keberagaman umat.
