Abstract

The objective of the research is to develop children fine motor skills through sticking picture properly by using combination of explicit instruction model and assignment media utilizing natural materials. This research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles of three meetings at Kenanga Kindergarten of Gambut District, Banjar Regency, academic year of 2016/2017 with involving 20 children, consisted of 13 males and 7 females. Data collected through observation sheet activities of teachers, children, and the achievement of children fine motor development during the learning. The research results showed that the learning activities performed by teachers was suitable to the planning and students? activities in very active and the achievement of student is 95% classically. It is recommended to other Kindergarten teachers in the effort to develop fine motor skills through sticking picture properly to use the combination of explicit instruction model and assignment method utilizing natural materials media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship parenting pattern and socioeconomic status through parent?scommunication on children's language ability in Kindergarten of Anjir Muara District. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. The population were 300 children and sample were 173 people using the proportionate random sampling technique. Data colection uses quesioners and observation. Hypothesis testing uses Path Analysis. The results (1) there is significant relationship between parenting pattern and parent communication (2) there is significant relationship between the socioeconomic status and parent communication (3) there is significant relationship between parents parenting pattern and children's language ability (4) there is significant relationship between family socioeconomic status and children's language ability (5) there is significant relationship between parent communication and children's language ability (6) there is significant indirect relationship parenting pattern, parent?s communication on children's language ability (7) there is significant indirect relationship between socioeconomic status through parental communication on children's language ability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the influence of education, level of parenting, and occupation on children?s independence.  A total of 212 parents and children were used to carry out this research using the simple random sampling technique. The data obtained were examined and utilized to test hypotheses using the path analysis. Data processing was carried out using IBM SPSS version 24.0 computer program. The results consists of the following points: There are direct influences: (1) Level of parental education about childcare (2) Parents 'work on childcare (3) Parent's level of education about children's independence (4) Parents' work on children's independence ( 5) Parenting style for child stagnation. While the no indirect influence comprises of the following (6) The level of parental education on children's independence through parenting (7) Parents' work on children's independence through parenting. However, there were no indirect influences.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the Principal?s supervision contribution and work motivation toward the teachers performance at public of Senior High School at Barito Kuala, District. The research population is publicteachers at public  Senior High School in Barito Kuala, District, as much as 227 teachers. And, to take a sample it?s used Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling technique by determining sample to each school in a proportional manner and found  as much as 145 teachers.  For data collection is conducted by questionnaire. And the questionnaire validity trial is conducted by corrected item -  Total correlation. Reliability trial is using Cronbach?s Alpha (a). Data Analysis is taking simple regression and double technique. The data?s outcomes are: (1) significantly, there is  the Principal?s supervision contribution toward teachers performance at Senior High School in Barito Kuala, with determination value 66,1%; (2) There is a work motivation contribution towards teachers performance at public of Senior High School in Barito Kuala, significantly with determination value 65,6%; (3) And so, with significantly there is a Principal?s supervision contribution and work motivation toward teachers performance at Public of Senior High School in Barito Kuala District, in the manner of determination value 74,8%

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep IPS. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung yaitu, siswa tidak mampu berpikir dalam menyelesaikan masalah sehingga mampu menjadikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan utnuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan juga hasil belajar. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, dilakukan selama 4 pertemuan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa aktivitas guru terus mengalami peningkatan setiap pertemuan hingga mencapai 93% di pertemuan ke 4. Aktivitas siswa mencapai 93%. Keterampilan berpikir kritis mendapat 86%. Hasil belajar mencapai 100%. Maka penggunaan model problem based learning, teams games tournament dan talking stick dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis ddna hasil belajar.

Abstract

The research is motivated by low religious abilities, such as children being less able to express opinions in continuing some prayer movements. This is due to the lack of innovative and interesting learning media to be displayed, the lack of innovation in learning models and methods used, the lack of stimulus given by teachers to children in learning activities, and children being less able to express ideas in continuing some of the prayer movements they have heard. The approach used is a qualitative approach to the type of research, namely classroom action research, which is carried out in two cycles. This research was carried out at Tri Kesuma Pelaihari Kindergarten on group B children, totaling 10 children, consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that using the talking stick model, demonstration method, and drawing media can develop religious abilities in Group B children at Tri Kesuma Kindergarten. It is recommended that the results of this research be used as a reference and consideration in continuing some of the prayer movements that have been carried out.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah kemampuan motorik kasar anak belum berkembang. Disebabkan kurang terkoordinasinya gerakan keseimbangan tubuh anak dan kurangnya kegiatan yang menstimulasi motorik kasar anak. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dalam 4 kali pertemuan. Setting penelitian di TK Insan Azkia Banjarmasin pada anak kelompok B2 berjumlah 21 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dijabarkan dengan tabel dan grafik dengan indikator yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, kemandirian, dan hasil kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru mencapai kategori sangat baik, aktivitas anak mencapai kategori sangat aktif, kemandirian anak mencapai kategori sangat mandiri, dan hasil kemampuan motorik kasar anak mencapai kategori berkembang sangat baik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpukan bahwa penggunaan kombinasi model Explicit Instruction, Problem Based Learning melalui media Playmate permainan tradisional engklek dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dapat mengembangkan aktivitas, kemandirian dan hasil kemampuan motorik kasar anak pada Kelompok B TK Insan Azkia Banjarmasin. Disarankan bagi kepala TK, guru dan peneliti selanjutnya dapat menjadi referensi dan bahan masukan informasi untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran pada anak.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the instructional supervision program at SMAN 5 Banjarmasin by examining its execution quality, feedback effectiveness, and the extent to which follow-up actions support improvements in teachers’ classroom practices. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, teachers, and supervisors, classroom observations, and an analysis of supervision documents. The findings indicate that supervision has contributed to enhancing teacher reflection and lesson planning; however, it has not consistently led to sustained changes in teaching practices. The supervision process remains largely administrative, offering limited opportunities for pedagogical guidance, deep reflection, and collaborative problem-solving. Differences in stakeholders’ perceptions and irregular observation schedules further reduce the consistency and quality of supervision. Moreover, follow-up actions after supervision are insufficiently structured, resulting in only a small proportion of recommendations being implemented by teachers. These findings align with existing literature emphasizing the importance of dialogic supervision, ongoing coaching, and systematic monitoring to ensure that professional development translates into classroom practice. The study recommends strengthening supervisors’ competencies, utilizing more comprehensive observation instruments, and adopting evaluation models such as CIPP to ensure that supervision functions as a professional learning process rather than a procedural requirement. With these improvements, the supervision program is expected to play a more effective role in enhancing teaching quality and supporting continuous teacher development. Keywords: CIPP, program evaluation, teaching supervision, teacher professionalism Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program supervisi pengajaran di SMAN 5 Banjarmasin dengan menelaah kualitas implementasi, efektivitas umpan balik, serta keberlanjutan tindak lanjut supervisi terhadap peningkatan praktik pembelajaran guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan pengawas; observasi kelas; serta analisis dokumen supervisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi telah memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan refleksi guru dan perencanaan pembelajaran, namun belum sepenuhnya menghasilkan perubahan mengajar yang konsisten. Pelaksanaan supervisi masih berfokus pada aspek administratif sehingga ruang pembinaan pedagogik, seperti diskusi mendalam dan refleksi terarah, belum berjalan optimal. Variasi persepsi antar-pemangku kepentingan dan ketidakteraturan observasi juga menyebabkan mutu supervisi tidak merata. Selain itu, tindak lanjut supervisi belum terstruktur dan hanya sebagian kecil rekomendasi yang benar-benar diterapkan oleh guru. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh literatur mengenai pentingnya supervisi dialogis, coaching berkelanjutan, serta mekanisme pemantauan yang konsisten untuk memastikan transfer pengetahuan ke praktik pembelajaran. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas supervisor, penggunaan instrumen observasi yang lebih komprehensif, serta penerapan model evaluasi seperti CIPP untuk memastikan supervisi berjalan sebagai proses pembinaan profesional, bukan sekadar pemenuhan administrasi. Dengan penguatan tersebut, supervisi diharapkan dapat berperan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kinerja guru secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

Teacher performance is a key factor in determining the quality of education and is influenced by individual abilities, principal leadership, work culture, and teachers’ work motivation. Principals’ instructional leadership is crucial in guiding and facilitating teachers to conduct effective learning, while a positive work culture and high work motivation can sustainably improve teacher performance. This study analyzes the influence of principals’ instructional leadership and work culture on teacher performance, both directly and indirectly through work motivation, in public elementary schools in Pulau Petak District, Kapuas Regency. Using a quantitative survey method, the study involved 119 teachers selected from a population of 170 via proportional random sampling. Data were collected through validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using path and multiple regression analysis. Results indicate that principals’ instructional leadership, work culture, work motivation, and teacher performance are in the high to very high categories. Principals’ instructional leadership and work culture have significant direct effects on both work motivation and teacher performance, while work motivation also significantly affects teacher performance. Moreover, instructional leadership and work culture indirectly influence teacher performance through work motivation. These findings highlight that enhancing teacher performance requires strong instructional leadership, a supportive work culture, and high teacher motivation. The study suggests that school management should continuously strengthen leadership and cultivate a positive work environment to boost teachers’ motivation and performance, and it encourages further research on additional factors influencing teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the direct and indirect influence of the principal's transformational leadership, quality culture and job satisfaction on teacher performance.  This study is correlational descriptive research with path analysis. The research sample was 92 people. Data collection was carried out using instruments consisting of transformational leadership of school principals (26 items), quality culture (30 items), job satisfaction (22 items) and teacher performance (26 items) which have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis of this study uses path analysis (Path Analysis). The results of the study show that there is an influence of transformational leadership of school principals and quality culture through job satisfaction on teacher performance, both directly and indirectly.
