Abstract

The heutagogy learning method is effective and efficient for improving the learning process. The onslaught of globalization and the era of society 5.0 has its challenges. This method is expected to be able to foster a sense of interconnectedness between not only teachers and students but also involves local wisdom amid society. There is a need for local knowledge that can improve welfare and create peace. The aim of the heutagogy learning method in okapande is a learning component based on the local wisdom of the Muna people. Okapande provides its dimension in terms of modern learning and can foster cultural values in the Muna community. Local wisdom that exists amid society can be a source of forming national character. The existence of local wisdom is an ancestral heritage that contains values and norms as character builders. Learning is not only to increase knowledge but also to make people wiser. Okapande, which is a learning media, not only emphasizes knowledge but closeness to God. This research was qualitative research with the use of a literature study. The study results show that the heutagogy learning method can provide skills to communicate, adapt, collaborate, and play a role in the human characteristics forming process.

Abstract

Al Fath Kendari Islamic Boarding School has an entrepreneurial processing program that aims to improve the skills and entrepreneurial spirit of students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the program in achieving its goals. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with related parties, such as Islamic boarding school caregivers, entrepreneurial program administrators, and students participating in the program. Observations were carried out at the location of entrepreneurial programs and student entrepreneurial activities. The documentation collected is in the form of entrepreneurial program materials, program activity reports, and student entrepreneurial products. The results of the study show that the entrepreneurial processing program of the Al Fath Kendari Islamic Boarding School is quite effective in improving the skills and entrepreneurial spirit of students. This is evidenced by the increase in knowledge, attitudes, and skills of students in entrepreneurship. Students' knowledge about entrepreneurship has increased significantly after participating in the program. Students become more aware of the concept of entrepreneurship, types of businesses, and strategies for starting and running a business. The attitude of students towards entrepreneurship has also undergone positive changes. Students become braver to take risks, creative in looking for business opportunities, and never give up in facing challenges. The skills of students in entrepreneurship have also improved. Students are able to make business plans, conduct market analysis, and manage their business finances. The entrepreneurial processing program of the Al Fath Kendari Islamic Boarding School is quite effective in improving the skills and entrepreneurial spirit of students. This program can be a model for other Islamic boarding schools in developing entrepreneurial programs for students

Abstract

Keberadaan masyarakat transmigran Bali di Desa Jati Bali Kabupaten Konawe Selatan membawa kekhasan tersendiri. Eksistensi ritual mecaru bernuansa Bali menjadi pelengkap nilai eksotik masyarakatnya yang hidup di tengah-tengah daratan Sulawesi Tenggara. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menelusuri bagaimana ritual ini bertahan, berubah, atau mungkin mengalami penurunan makna di tengah tantangan zaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan historis. Penelitian ini mengacu pada metode penulisan sejarah yang mencakup empat tahapan utama: heuristik (pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan tokoh adat, warga, serta generasi muda transmigran Bali, dan studi pustaka terhadap literatur dan dokumen arsip), kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Rentang waktu 1968–2023 digunakan sebagai kerangka periodisasi untuk menelusuri secara kronologis jejak, perubahan, dan kesinambungan praktik mecaru dalam konteks sosial budaya masyarakat transmigran Bali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya mecaru pada masyarakat Bali yang bertransmigrasi di Sulawesi Tenggara menandakan kebertahanan eksistensi budayanya. Penelitian ini membahas dinamika pelaksanaan mecaru pada masyarakat transmigran Bali di Desa Jati Bali sejak tahun 1968 hingga 2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat kesenjangan antara harapan pelestarian budaya leluhur dengan kenyataan di lapangan, di mana modernisasi, perubahan generasi, dan interaksi budaya dengan masyarakat lokal mulai memengaruhi intensitas dan makna pelaksanaan tradisi mecaru.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the values contained in the "ngayah" tradition in the Balinese Community in Landono District, South Konawe Regency, and to explain the strategies for its preservation and sustainability. The Ngayah tradition is a form of mutual cooperation and selfless devotion, has strong cultural roots in the traditions of the Balinese Community in Landono District. This paper uses a multidimensional approach to understand the social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of the ngayah tradition. This tradition shows that the values contained in the ngayah tradition include tolerance in diversity, brotherhood, and spirituality. Ngayah functions as a medium to strengthen relationships between individuals, build solidarity across religions and cultures, and create a harmonious environment. The Ngayah tradition is an inspiration for other communities in maintaining diversity and preserving cultural traditions in the modern era. This paper is expected to provide insight and recommendations for the preservation of the sustainable Ngayah Tradition.
