Abstract

Sebagai Negara kesatuan tentunya pelaksanaan setiap program pemerintahnharus dilakukan pengawasan, Tidak terkecuali halnya dengan pengawasan Pemilukada di Kota Lhokseumawe. Terdapat beberapa persoalan dalam hal melakukan pengawasan yang dilakukan, penelitian ini mengangkat beberapa persoalan, dimana letak kelemahan pengawasan pemerintah, bagaimana metode pengawsan yang tepat dalam melakukan pengawasan yang tepat di Kota Lhokseumawe. Metodelogi yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan kajian normatif dan empiris di di kota lhokseumawe.

Abstract

This study focuses on two discussions. First, to describe the application of character education at SMA Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe. Second, to describe the obstacles in the application of character education so that it is not effective in overcoming student deviant behavior. By using a qualitative approach, this study comes to an understanding that the implementation of character education in SMA Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe is carried out through several strategies, including: a). providing outreach to teachers; b). preparation of syllabus and lesson plans based on character education; c). integrating and applying values in the teaching and learning process in the classroom; d) creating a school culture; e) habituation; and f) teacher exemplary. The implementation of character education in order to reduce students' deviant behavior has not been optimal because it faces a number of obstacles, such as a) minimal family contribution; b) inconsistency of values and norms at school and outside school; and c) teachers' difficulties in adapting to curriculum changes. In addition, the definition of deviant behavior and social dysfunction has so far only relied on "blaming deviant individual behavior", but ignores problems at the school structure level that can lead students to deviant behavior and anomie states. ABSTRAKStudi ini berfokus pada dua hal. Pertama melihat penerapan pendidikan karakter di SMA Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe. Kedua, menggambarkan hambatan dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter sehingga tidak efektif dalam mengatasi perilaku menyimpang siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini sampai pada pemahaman bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter di SMA Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe dilakukan melalui beberapa strategi, diantaranya: a). pemberian sosialisasi kepada guru; b). penyusunan Silabus dan RPP yang berbasis pendidikan karakter; c). pengintegrasian dan penerapan nilai-nilai dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas; d) penciptaan budaya sekolah; e) pembiasaan; dan f) keteladanan guru. Penerapan pendidikan karakter dalam rangka mengurangi perilaku menyimpang siswa belum berjalan optimal karena menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti a) minimnya kontribusi keluarga; b) inkonsistensi nilai dan norma di sekolah dan di luar sekolah; dan c) kesulitan guru beradaptasi dengan perubahan kurikulum. Selain itu, pendefinisian perilaku menyimpang dan disfungsi sosial selama ini hanya bertumpu pada “menyalahkan perilaku individu yang menyimpang”, tetapi mengabaikan masalah pada level struktur sekolah yang dapat mendorong siswa ke arah perilaku menyimpang dan keadaan anomie.

Abstract

This study looks at how Panwaslih, North Aceh Regency, implemented its governance plans for hosting concurrent elections in 2019. The goal of this study is to examine the governance policy's implementation for the 2019 simultaneous elections, the role of the election supervisory body/Panwaslih in overseeing the elections in the North Aceh district in 2019, as well as the enabling and obstructive factors in the implementation of supervision. The research is descriptive qualitative, the methods for gathering data are observation, interviews, and documentation, and the methods for analyzing the data are data reduction, verification, and conclusion-making. The study's findings demonstrate that the Panwaslih in the Governance of the 2019 Simultaneous Elections has carried out the supervisory role with professionalism. All phases of the 2019 election will be supervised in compliance with Election Law Number 7 of 2017, which was passed in 2017. It is established that the Aceh Regency Panwaslih commits every election violation without showing any preference. All allegations of electoral fraud are investigated by Bawaslu in accordance with Bawaslu rules. Additionally, at the Panwaslih Accountability for the Execution of the 2019 Simultaneous Elections level It is demonstrable that the North Aceh Regency's 2019 General Elections were implemented without incident. Despite the fact that there were still infractions in the field, the Election Supervisors were able to effectively rectify them through preventative measures integrating community participation in supervision.

Abstract

Abstract. This article aims to describe the economy of oil palm smallholders in post-conflict Aceh. The data for this study were gathered through observation, interviews, and a review of the relevant literature. This study found that oil palm plantations were one of the industries that helped the people of North Aceh get back on their feet economically after the conflict. The peaceful conditions in post-conflict Aceh propelled the former GAM combatants to plunge into the oil palm plantation sector because the potential for land was quite wide. The success of the oil palm plantation activities by former GAM combatants encouraged the community to participate in planting oil palm so that the area of oil palm plantations continued to increase in North Aceh, and then the community's economy also increased. These conditions strengthened peace because GAM combatants successfully switched from conflict-related activities to economic ones.

Abstract

Awareness of online/digital ethics and the ability to sort information are very important for everyone to have. We have analyzed this awareness and ability in Mekarjaya Village, a village located in Bayongbong District, Garut. With the majority of the population working as farmers and farm labourers, digital literacy is an important aspect in efforts to develop the potential of society in the ever-evolving digital era. Students in Mekarjaya Village are also increasingly connected online, but they are often faced with limited internet access and a lack of awareness about online ethics. This study aims to understand the importance of building online ethical awareness and the ability to sort information among students in Mekarjaya Village. To achieve this goal, a digital literacy program and digital ethics briefing have been implemented in one of the junior high schools in Mekarjaya village, namely Persis Al-Manar Middle School. The methods used include lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of digital literacy and digital ethics, as well as improvements in their online behavior. This research provides important insights into the challenges and potentials of digital literacy in rural areas and offers solutions in the form of relevant educational programs.
