Abstract

This experiment aims to determine the effect of various concentrations of liquid fertilizer plus silica combined with N, P, and K inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of rice plants (oryza zativa). The trial was conducted in July 2018 to November 2018 in the Ciparanje experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor, Sumedang. The method used is Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consists of ten treatments with three replications; Treatment (A) Control, (B) standard NPK, (C) Plus Silica Liquid Fertilizer, (D) ¼ NPK + Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer, (E) ½ NPK + Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer, (F) ¾ NPK + Liquid Fertilizer Silica Plus, (G) NPK + Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer, (H) ¾ NPK + ¼ Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer, (I) ¾ NPK + ½ Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer, (J) ¾ NPK + ¾ Silica Plus Liquid Fertilizer. The results showed that there was an effect of silica fertilizer on the growth and number of tillers after rice 8 MST. The treatment of F (¾ NPK + Liquid Fertilizer Plus Silica) gave the highest value to the yield of rice plants with the results of 53.31 gr of crop.

Abstract

The environment is one important factor that must be considered in supporting sweet potato productivity. Environmental factors can be biotic and abiotic, including the availability of nutrients and microbes in the soil. This study aims to identify the nutrient content of the soil in wetland and upland, identify the total invertase microorganisms in wetland and dupland, and identify the relationship between soil nutrients and microorganisms during the growth of Cilembu sweet potato in dry and wetland agroecosystems. This research was conducted on upland and wetland in Cilembu Village, Sumedang Regency. The experimental design used was a single randomized block design (RBD) with six treatments and three replications:  A; Rancing, wetland, B; Biang wetland, C; Mencrang wetland, D; Rancing, uplands, E; Biang, uplands, F; Mencrang, upland. Parameters observed included pH, C-organic, total-N, available-P, exchangeable K, exchangeable Na, exchangeable Ca and exchangeable Mg, CEC, and total invertase-producing bacteria. The results showed that in wetland nutrient content such as N, P, exchangeable Ca,  Mg, Na, CEC, C-organic and pH tended to be more available. K content and abundance of invertase bacteria are more available in upland. The availability of invertase bacteria has a close relationship with the K content. The information generated in this study can be used as a basis for determining an effective location to produce good quality.

Abstract

Banana (Musa spp.) is one of the agricultural commodities that’s widely cultivated and used by the local community. Currently, only 101 types of local varieties of bananas are registered in Indonesia; one of them is the Roid banana from Jatigede District. Roid bananas grow wild without any mandatory special care. Continuous use without any conservation and preservation efforts can lead to scarcity of Roid banana germplasm as a genetic resource. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the distribution and diversity of Roid bananas through in situ exploration and characterization activities. This study aimed to identify the potential for genetic diversity and develop conservation efforts for the local variety of Roid banana (Musa spp.) in Jatigede District. This research was conducted from November 2021 - March 2022 in three villages in Jatigede District: Ciranggem Village, Jemah Village, and Mekarasih Village. The research used exploratory, survey, and interview methods as data collection techniques. Based on the results of the study, Jatigede District has a wide genetic diversity and distant kinship among Roid banana accessions. Characters that contributed to genetic diversity among accessions were the width of the midrib margin, the diameter of the bunch, and the length of the pseudostem. MS1.3 was the selected accession with its potential characteristics: more combs in bunches, leaf width of 71-80 cm, leaf length of 171-220 cm, and the number of rhizomes > 5 tillers.

Abstract

Centella's need for industrial raw materials is high as a medicinal plant. These needs can be met through rapid multiplication using tissue culture techniques. In this study, induction and proliferation for a callus of centella cv. Castina 3 was conducted in the MS basal medium plus 4 mgL-1 Dicamba withand enriched with 7 concentrations of BAP (0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, and 1.1 mgL-1). Two kinds of explant were used, i.e., leaf and petiole. The results revealed that the addition of BAP in MS plus Dicamba medim stimulated better and produced a higher callus growth rate, both from leaf and petiole explants, than that media with Dicamba alone. Furthermore, 4 mgL-1 Dicamba + 1.1 mgL-1 BAP had a friable callus in the induction phase and a friable-compact callus in the proliferation phase. From this finding, it can be considered to use a combination of 4 mgL-1 Dicamba with 1.1 mgL-1 BAP in callus induction and proliferation for Centella rapid multiplication.

Abstract

Modern agriculture faces major challenges in achieving sustainable food security and efficient use of resources. One approach that has been adopted is the use of compound fertilizers, which combine several nutrients in one product. This study aims to determine the effect of applying a combination of doses of NPK compound fertilizer (16-16-16) and Liquid Inorganic and determine the best dose combination on the growth and yield of Chili (Capsicum annum L.). This research was conducted in Palasari Village, Cibiru Subdistrict, Bandung City, West Java Province, at an altitude of 725 meters above sea level. The research was conducted from February to May 2022. The method in this study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK), with nine treatments and three replications. Treatments (A) Control, (B) Standard fertilizer (Urea, SP-36, and KCl), (C) 1 NPK + ¼ Liquid Inorganic, (D) 1 NPK + ½ Liquid Inorganic, (E) 1 NPK + ¾ Liquid Inorganic, (F) 1 NPK + 1 Liquid Inorganic, (G) 1 NPK + 1 ¼ Liquid Inorganic, (H) 1 NPK + 1 ½ Liquid Inorganic, (I) 1 NPK + 2 Liquid Inorganic. The results showed that the combination of NPK compound fertilizer treatment F (250 kg/ha NPK 16-16-16 and 1 liter/ha Liquid Inorganic) gave the best results on plant height, plant diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per plot and fruit weight per hectare.

Abstract

Analisis diversitas genetik menggunakan 32 aksesi koleksi Dahlia pinnata Unpad, berdasarkan karakter morfologi (14 karakter) bertujuan untuk melihat penyebaran Dahlia pinnata di Indonesia. Analisis ini menggunakan PCA yang menggunakan eigen value sebagai nilai diskriminan. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan one row plot yang menjadikan setiap individu menjadi ulangan. Lokasi percobaan berada di Lembang, Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperoleh grafik biplot dari nilai PCA yang menunjukkan bahwa aksesi-aksesi yang diamati memiliki penyebaran yang acak, tidak mengelompok spesifik. Hal ini menunjukkan perlu dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut berdasarkan karakter lain untuk menjustifikasi pola penyebarannya.

Abstract

Jengkol (Pithecellobium jiringa (Jack) Prain.) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang banyak ditanam dengan sistem home garden di Indonesia. Pengembangan tanaman ini kebanyakan masih menggunakan perbanyakan generative yaitu dengan biji. Kendala perbanyakan dengan biji adalah waktu reproduktif yang lama dan variasi hasil panen. Pemanfaatan plasma nutfah yang telah di identifikasi dengan melakukan perbanyakan vegetatif menggunakan setek daun dan pencangkokan bertujuan untuk mempersingkat umur tanaman dan menyeragamankan hasil panen dibandingkan dengan perbanyakan biji. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Sumedang Jawa Barat dengan mencangkok secara insitu pada tanaman induk jengkol yang telah dikarakterisasi sebelumnya, selain itu membawa preparat untuk diperbanyak melalaui setek daun. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperoleh perbanyakan vegetatif menggunakan setek daun mati total dan 19 cangkokan yang hidup dari 34 total cangkokan. Hal ini menunjukkan perbanyakan vegetatif melalui system pencangkokan lebih kompatibel pada tanaman jengkol di bandingkan dengan setek daun.

Abstract

An environment that is clean from rubbish is an environment that everyone hopes for. The amount of waste produced by humans will increase in proportion to the increase in population, type of activity and level of population consumption of goods. Mekarjaya Village is a village in Bayongbong sub-district, Garut Regency which has a population of 1187 people. With this population, it is very likely that waste will accumulate if it is not managed properly. At the Garut Institute of Technology's Thematic KKN activities in 2023, it was identified that there was a buildup of rubbish in a location that had not been organized. Therefore, one of the community service activities will be activities that focus on environmental cleanliness. This is done with the aim of creating a more organized environment and a cleaner and healthier environment. To achieve this goal, joint environmental cleaning activities were carried out, providing rubbish bins and waste sorting education to educate residents about the importance of waste management to achieve environmental cleanliness.

Abstract

Optimizing the performance of a company is inseparable from the work achievement of the employees in carrying out all their duties. Religious factors become one of the factors driving the optimization of performance achievement wich must be maximized. This study aims to determine how the influencer of religiosity on the performance of muslim employees in the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Pamekasan. This research is quantitative study with a population of 48 employees in the Pamekasan Regency PDAM office, all of wich were used as reseach samples. Questionnaire is used as a data collection method using a likert scale as a measurement tool. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, partial test (T) and the coefficient of determination (R²) test using SPSS version 23. The result of simple linear regression analysis showed the regression coefficient was a 1 then employee performance has increased by 0,028. T test results are at a significance value of 0,828 > 0,05, wich means that the variable of religiosity does not affect employee performance. While the R² test result are at the value of 0,001, wich means that there are ither variables outside the study that affect the performance of PDAM Pamekasan employees.

Abstract

PPDB (Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru) yaitu proses penerimaan peserta didik disebuah lembaga pendidikan baik itu formal atau non formal, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ibnu Abbas setiap tahun selalu melakukan proses penerimaan peserta didik ini merupakan kegiatan tahunan bagi disetiap sekolah, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ibnu Abbas masi menggunakan metode dahulu atau manual. Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ibnu Abbas masih menggunakan sistem pendaftaran karakter manual dimana siswa baru harus mengisi formulir pendaftaran yang disediakan oleh panitia pendaftaran, sehingga membutuhkan calon peserta didik untuk datang ke sekolah dan membutuhkan waktu cukup lama. Aplikasi android ini digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem dimana calon peserta didik baru dapat menginputkan data melalui handphone sehingga dapat mengefisiensi waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi penerimaan peserta didik baru berbasis android. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode waterfall, merupakan model pengembangan yang sistematis dan berurutan. Pengujian aplikasi ini menggunakan pengujian sistem Blackbox Testing, hasil dari pengujian aplikasi ini sudah teruji sesuai dengan fungsi-fungsi perangkat lunak berdasarkan uji 11 (sebelas) skenario. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi aplikasi penerimaan peserta didik baru berbasis android untuk memudahankan calon peserta didik baru dalam melakukan pendaftaran di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ibnu Abbas, mempermudah panitia dalam mengelola data peserta didik baru dan informasi pengumuman penerimaan peserta didik baru, serta penelitian ini juga menghasilkan pendaftaran lebih efektif dan efisien berdasarkan pengujian menggunakan uji rumus uji runs dengan hasil 0,504.
