Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that has very complex environmental health problems, especially in big cities. Poor sanitation is believed to be the main cause in 280.000 deaths. Giwangan Market as a public place visited by many people has the potential as a place for disease transmission.This study aims to determine the knowledge, attitudes of traders in the Giwangan market about sanitation, because sanitation contributes to the realization of environmental health quality.This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. The sample in this study was the Yogyakarta Giwangan market traders, amounting to 102 respondents.The sample size is calculated using the Slovin formula. Random sampling with simple random sampling technique. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and checklist sheets.Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square test. The results showed 78 people (76.5%) good sanitation traders,76 people (74.5%) good attitude, and 64 people (62.7%) had good perceptions about environmental health quality.The bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.002 ≤ 0.05) and attitudes about sanitation (p = 0.006 ≤ 0.05) and the perception of the quality of environmental health in the Giwangan Market. There is a relationship between traders' knowledge and attitudes about sanitation and the quality of environmental health in the Giwangan market. Suggestions for traders to increase awareness in maintaining the health of the market environment while for market managers there is a need for maintenance of facilities and increase availability of sanitation facilities in the market.

Abstract

Tiktok merupakan salah satu media sosial yang sedang viral dan cukup diminati saat ini. Selain untuk ekspresi diri, Tiktok juga dapat digunakan dalam usaha binsis sebagai media untuk jual beli online. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin canggih memudahkan kita untuk melakukan segala aktifias tanpa harus bertatap muka, salah satunya toko online yang mana penjual hanya mempromosikan dan menampilkan produknya semenarik mungkin kepada customer sehingga tertarik dan membelinya tanpa perlu datang ke pasar atau ke supermarket untuk bisa mendapatkan produk yang dibutuhkan, oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti topik tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dimana kuesioner dibagikan secara online kepada 120 responden, teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial TikTok berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan dunia bisnis terutama bidang e-commerce

Abstract

The Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park in Namang Village, Namang District, Central Bangka Regency was originally a primary forest along with human civilization, illegal logging and forest clearing into agricultural and plantation land so that it experienced a succession that changed into a secondary forest. To maintain the sustainability of the Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park, cooperation and support from the surrounding community are needed, who have been interacting to carry out synergistic utilization with government policies. This study aims to examine the utilization of the Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park by the community and the efforts made to develop this Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park. Using a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews with the people of Namang Village, the management and stakeholders related to policy makers. From the results of this study, the level of community understanding about the utilization of the Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park can be seen from two aspects, namely the aspect of the utilization of HHBK and the aspect of ecotourism. From the aspect of the utilization of HHBK, the community knows the Pelawan tree as a habitat for honey bee cultivation (69%), Pelawan herbal leaf tea (20%) and the utilization of Pelawan wood (11%). From the ecotourism aspect, the community knows that the Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park as a tourist attraction is very high (93%) and those who do not know are very few (6%). Efforts to develop the Pelawan Forest Biodiversity Park with short-term planning are to maintain and develop vegetation, branding and promotion of forest products and for the long term in the form of infrastructure development, increasing community capacity and increasing cooperation with the government, community, NGOs, universities/researchers and investors.

Abstract

This review focuses on the book Global Perspectives on Project-Based Language Learning, Teaching, and Assessment: Key Approaches, Technology Tools, and Frameworks, edited by Gulbahar H. Beckett and Tammy Slater. The book provides an in-depth discussion of project-based language learning (PBLL) and emphasizes the role of technology-enhanced learning. Using a structured analytical framework, it explores foundational theories, practical applications, and technology-driven strategies to advance language acquisition, critical thinking, collaboration, and global competencies. Organized into three parts, the book covers philosophical and theoretical insights, empirical studies on technology-integrated PBLLs, and practical frameworks for using technology in language education. This review critically evaluates the chapters' coherence, theoretical grounding, and pedagogical relevance. It highlights the book's significant contributions, emphasizing their value to educators, researchers, and practitioners by offering novel, technology-focused solutions to prepare learners for the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

Background of the study: The Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), which has been widely implemented in Indonesia since 2021, emphasizes flexibility, student-centered learning, and contextualized teaching. In early childhood education (ECD), the role of parents is crucial in supporting holistic development and the successful implementation of this curriculum. However, research focusing specifically on the extent and nature of parental involvement in ECD within the framework of the Independent Curriculum remains limited and fragmented. Aims and scope of paper: This paper aims to review and analyze existing studies on parental involvement in early childhood education in the context of the Independent Curriculum era. The focus is on how collaboration between parents, teachers, and schools contributes to enhancing children's learning experiences and developmental outcomes. By conducting a bibliometric analysis, this review also seeks to map the current state of research and identify gaps for future studies. Methods: This study uses a systematic review method with a bibliometric approach. Secondary data were collected from two major academic databases: Google Scholar and Scopus. The publication timeframe analyzed spans from 2020 to 2024 to capture recent developments related to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Articles were selected based on their relevance to parental involvement and early childhood education. Results: The analysis identified 11 relevant journal articles that highlight the significant role of parents in supporting early childhood education during the Independent Curriculum era. These studies consistently emphasize the importance of active parental collaboration with teachers and schools. Such collaboration has been shown to improve children's engagement, emotional well-being, and academic readiness, thereby reinforcing the goals of the curriculum. Contribution: This review contributes to the growing body of literature by offering a synthesized overview of how parental involvement is addressed in the context of Indonesia's Independent Curriculum. It provides insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers on the importance of fostering strong partnerships between families and educational institutions. Moreover, the findings serve as a foundation for future research that can explore effective strategies and intervention models to strengthen parental engagement in early education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tiga metode utama yang digunakan dalam perancangan prototipe aplikasi pembelajaran, yaitu Design Thinking, Lean UX, dan Low & High Fidelity Prototyping. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali karakteristik dan penerapan masing-masing metode dalam proses perancangan aplikasi pembelajaran. Design Thinking berfokus pada pendekatan empatik untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, dengan proses yang bersifat iteratif sehingga desain dapat berkembang seiring dengan umpan balik yang diterima. Metode ini sangat efektif untuk memastikan bahwa solusi yang dihasilkan relevan dan tepat sasaran. Di sisi lain, Lean UX lebih menekankan pada efisiensi dan kolaborasi cepat, dengan eksperimen dan pengujian langsung sebagai bagian dari siklus desain. Metode ini sangat cocok untuk proyek dengan waktu yang terbatas dan tim yang membutuhkan kecepatan dalam proses desain. Low & High Fidelity Prototyping mengacu pada dua jenis prototipe yang berbeda: Low Fidelity yang digunakan untuk ide awal dan diskusi konsep, serta High Fidelity yang lebih mendekati produk akhir dan memungkinkan pengujian antarmuka pengguna yang lebih realistis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai penerapan ketiga metode tersebut dalam pembuatan aplikasi pembelajaran. Dengan mengetahui karakteristik masing-masing, pengembang dapat memilih pendekatan yang paling sesuai dengan tujuan dan kebutuhan proyek mereka.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis simulasi dan optimasi operasi waduk Temburun dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih. Penelitian dibagi tiga tahapan utama, yaitu tahap menentukan kapasitas waduk, tahap menentukan debit andalan (inflow) dan tahap memproyeksikan jumlah kebutuhan air baku (outflow). Kemudian dilakukan tahap simulasi dan optimasi waduk dalam dua skenario, optimasi kriteria 1 dan optimasi kriteria 2. Untuk menentukan kapasitas waduk, diperlukan data topografi, peta daerah aliran sungai (DAS), data luas genangan dan volume waduk. Kemudian, untuk mendapatkan data inflow, data yang diperlukan adalah data curah hujan, data klimatologi dan data debit aliran, yang kemudian didapat debit andalan. Setelah itu, untuk mendapatkan data proyeksi outflow, diperlukan data jumlah penduduk dan data jumlah kapal, yang kemudian dilakukan proyeksi sampai tahun 2038. Untuk tahap simulasi, ditetapkan debit andalan sebagai inflow dan kebutuhan air baku sebagai outflow. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air sebesar 100% selama lima tahun, pelepasan dilakukan setelah air dibiarkan terisi dalam debit inflow yang ada selama 12 periode (Januari 1 sampai Juni 2) di tahun pertama. Selanjutnya, untuk memenuhi 70% dari kebutuhan air baku pelayaran dan 85% kebutuhan air baku domestik dengan kapasitas tampungan waduk terisi 95% dari inflow, pelepasan dilakukan setelah air terisi selama 15 periode sejak Januari 1 hingga Agustus 1 di tahun pertama.
