Abstract

Domestic wastewater consists of black water and grey water, grey wateras the largest contributor to the total domestic wastewater contains organicmaterial. Microalgae Chlorella sp can its organic compounds and nutrients forphotosynthesis to reduce pollutants in grey wastewater. Rotary Algae BiofilmReactor (RABR) technology is a biological treatment with a suspended growthsystem and uses disk media as a site for attached growth occurs. This study aims to remove COD and TSS parameters in grey waste water by treatment withvariations in depth of immersed disks, which are 40%, 60%, and 80% in contact0,1,3, and 5 days. The results of the highest research during the deep processing showed the efficiency parameters, namely the variation of the depth of the disk submerged 80% on day 5 with the total density of microalgae cells Chlorella sp. suspension-based and attached at 9,55 x 106 cells/ml. The removal efficiency of COD was 81,58% with a concentration of 100 mg/l and the increase in TSS concentration was 522 mg/l.Key Word : Rotary Alga Biofilm Reactor (RABR), Grey Waste Water, Chlorellasp., Depth of Immersed Disk, COD.

Abstract

This research is related to issues in the evaluation of student learning outcomes that have not been explored in the aspects of Islamic religious education. The papers scrutinize the role of Islamic religious education teachers in the context of junior secondary schools and the impact of the problems faced by them on the evaluation of student learning outcomes. Through literature review and analysis of secondary data with a case study approach, this research presents a comprehensive picture of the challenges and important role of Islamic religious education teachers in improving students' understanding of Islam and the application of religious values in their daily lives. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Education teachers in evaluating Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMPN 11 Sungai Tuak Village Tanah Grogot. The study employed qualitative research. Research data were obtained from interviews with PAI teachers at SMPN 11 Sungai Tuak Village Tanah Grogot. Interviews were conducted to obtain information about the role of PAI teachers in evaluating student learning outcomes. The results showed that the type of evaluation applied by PAI teachers, media/tools used in evaluating, PAI activities in the school, methods in evaluating, problems in evaluating, and supporting factors, inhibiting factors and solutions to these problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya peningkatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan di masyarakat, yang bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengembangkan strategi efektif dalam memperkuat kesadaran dan partisipasi warga negara. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan kewarganegaraan, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman tentang hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara serta rendahnya rasa kepedulian terhadap isu-isu publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di beberapa komunitas yang berbeda. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dapat dicapai melalui pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang lebih inklusif dan partisipatif, serta melalui program-program komunitas yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif warga. Temuan juga mengindikasikan bahwa kolaborasi antara pemerintah, organisasi non-pemerintah, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi pengembangan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Selain itu, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan warga melalui platform digital yang memungkinkan diskusi dan partisipasi lebih luas. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa upaya peningkatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan di masyarakat memerlukan pendekatan multifaset yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan, partisipasi komunitas, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Strategi ini terbukti efektif dalam membangun kesadaran, kepedulian, dan partisipasi aktif warga negara dalam kehidupan publik, yang pada gilirannya akan memperkuat demokrasi dan kohesi sosial.

Abstract

Pada era industri 4.0 ini perkembangan teknologi informasi sudah semakin pesat, Dalam perkembangan terhadap dunia industri pada saat ini sudah hampir mengealami kemajuan sehingga banyak diperebutkan oleh semua kalangan elit yang terlibat dalam bisnis, Tak hanya berbisnis mereka pun berlomba lomba mencari tambahan untuk menambah aset dengan cara investasi. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan karyawan atau pegawai di perusahaan efek pada PT MNC Sekuritas Cabang Bandung, Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, jenis penelitian deskriftif. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang peneliti lakukan pada beberapa karyawan di perusahaan efek ini, Hasil Penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan Sistem Informasi Manajemen berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan yang baik.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in several senior high schools in Padang with the aim of increasing students’ awareness and understanding of ethical and responsible social media use to prevent cybercrimes such as hoaxes, hate speech, cyberbullying, defamation, and identity theft. The topic was selected due to the growing number of digital violations involving teenagers and the urgent need for digital literacy education. The method used consisted of interactive socialization sessions supported by pre-test and post-test evaluations, discussions, and educational materials related to digital ethics and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and awareness after the activity. This indicates that educational and participatory approaches are effective in shaping wiser online behavior among students and can serve as a preventive effort against legal problems in the digital environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of a practicum-based Guided Inquiry learning model on the science learning outcomes of seventh-grade students on the topic of substances and their changes. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of two classes, namely an experimental class and a control class, each comprising 30 students. Data were collected using a validated objective test and analyzed through descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing using an independent samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated that the initial abilities of students in both groups were relatively equivalent. Hypothesis testing on posttest data revealed a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, with a t-value of 4.338 exceeding the t-table value of 2.0017 (α = 0.05), indicating that the practicum-based Guided Inquiry learning model had a significant positive effect on students’ learning outcomes. Furthermore, analysis of learning objective achievement showed that TP 3, which focuses on identifying physical and chemical changes through practicum activities, achieved the highest level of mastery compared to other learning objectives. These findings suggest that the practicum-based Guided Inquiry learning model is effective in improving students’ science learning outcomes.

Abstract

The presence of Street Vendors (PKL) on Permindo Street, Padang City, often creates a conflict between economic interest and the function of public space. Socialization indicates that many vendors still utilize sidewalks and roadsides in a way that obstructs pedestrian access and causes traffic congestion, violating the Regional  Regulation (perda) of Padang City Number 11 of 2005 concerning Public Order. As a preventive and persuasive effort, a socialization activity was conducted for PKL in the Permindo area through direct dialogue and educational dissemination regarding the importance of public space functions. This activity aims to analyze the legal awareness of vendors and the effectiveness of socialization in realizing an orderly urban environment. The results show that while vendors understand the regulations, economic factors remain the primary challenge. Consistent socialization and the provision of relocation solutions are expected to be strategic steps in maintaining public order without neglecting the community’s economy.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop an integrative blended learning framework for Islamic Religious Educationthat systematically combines face-to-face and digital instruction while aligning with character formation and value-based educational objectives in the digital era. Methodology: This study employed qualitative library research using systematic literature review methods. Data were collected from peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and indexed academic databases such as Google Scholar and Scopus. Document analysis, thematic coding, and conceptual synthesis techniques were applied to construct the proposed framework. Main Findings: The findings reveal that blended learning in Islamic Religious Educationrequires structured integration of theoretical foundations, model characteristics, and implementation stages consisting of planning, execution, and evaluation. The framework strengthens student engagement, digital literacy, and value internalization while maintaining the pedagogical objectives of character-based Islamic education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers an integrative conceptual reconstruction of blended learning specifically tailored to Islamic Religious Educationby connecting theoretical foundations, systematic implementation stages, and value-based character formation into a unified framework, advancing existing discussions beyond descriptive implementation and effectiveness studies.
