Abstract

Abstract - On 2016, central government enacted a new mechanisms in Specific Allocation Fund (SAF) Policy that encourages policy complexity and existence issue, such as a delay in determining of technical guidelines. The role of MEMR on SAF policy according to Regulation of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources No 3/2016, states that MEMR as a Technical Ministry plays a role in monitoring and evaluation. The regulation also oblige beneficiary provinces to submit their progress reports quarterly. In fact, there are many provinces did not submit their report to MEMR. Surely this is against the rules and indicates the existence problem in monitoring and implementation process progress. The research uses qualitative approach, where the data collected in survey methods by collecting participant answer questioned administers through interviews and questionnaires. The answer from participants will describe the responses given. The question will be constructed and written properly to get reliable and valid survey. Author construct interview and design questionnaire so that participants are clear and easy to comprehend. The examine of validity data without using statistical tests, and conducted to find the meaning of research findings. Author uses triangulation to test validity data.The result showed that (1) Monitoring and Evaluation of Specific Allocation Funds on Small Scale Energy Sector is conducted by comparing the conformity of work plan with SAF's activities direction as well as conformity implementation; (2) Several causes of monitoring and evaluation problem, due to: Inexistence of standard instruction on the process of monitoring and evaluation at MEMR, Data planning have not been managed well, the regulation issue, and the absence of strict sanction; (3) Obstacles in the implementation of Specific Allocation Fund on Energy Sector Policy, include: bureaucracy, resource, communication, and disposition. Abstract

Abstract. Warbis Prama is a Business Development Services company. Warbis Prama is part of the Ministry of Cooperation from 2002 until 2014. In 2014 they got independent as they see the opportunities from internal and external factors. There is 57.895.721 number of the total Indonesia SME's where all most the total came from all of SME industry. Those amount of SME's are the best opportunity for Warbis Prama to expand their business. Furthermore, Warbis Prama had a great partnership to serve and develop the SME as they are have been part of the ministry of cooperation before. They had so many experiences with Ministry of Cooperation. So Warbis prama top management level are eligible to run the business.  Furthermore, they had many projects with Ministry of SME. Those experience determine Warbis Prama core value. The final result shows Warbis Prama is eligible to be independent and give input to the Warbis Prama based on the research and business strategy method. Secondly, Warbis Prama can run the business through a business strategy that fit to them in the future. The third,  Explanation about Warbis Prama should do in the future with the proper implementation plan. So, Warbis Prama can develop their business and achieve sustainability advantage in the future

Abstract

Abstract. Until the end of 2015, Indonesia's electrification ratio only reached 88.3% leaving the part of nation communities not enjoyed electricity. Most of them located in remote village, border-states area and isolated islands. The electricity system in Indonesia which only involves little private sector cause the rural electrification rely on the shoulders of the government. The government choose to implement rural electrification programs based on renewable energy (RE). This role is carried out by the Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation. The purpose of this program is mainly to increase the electrification ratio while promoting RE as a solution for remote villages. This study aims to understand the policy implementation according to the policy cycle. The advantages of qualitative methods used to collect and analyze data. Indonesia multilevel system of government and involving multi-stakeholders has been a challenge for the implementation of this policy. Unfortunately the government was only set short-term goals, to increase the electrification ratio. Rural communities as a user and a major stakeholder not fully engaged and have only treated as an object of beneficiaries. The low engagement of rural communities become major barrier for the sustainability of RE rural electrification program. The recommendation from the findings are to redesign the program to be consistent with sustainability indicator developed with logic model approach.Keywords: renewable energy, rural electrification, public policy, sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract - Haws is a new-comers in home décor industry. The company started to enter the competition in the middle of 2015. As a new entrant in the industry, the company realizes the competition in the industries is very high, moreover the new entrants keep increasing due to the low barrier entry. Haws sales not increase significantly as targeted and the company realize they need strategy to challenge the competition. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop business strategy for Haws. This research is using the combination of qualitative by interviews with related parties, and quantitative method by distributing questionnaire to know the importance level of variables in buying home décor product and the performance of Haws. The result shows 10 variables, which are design, service, product quality, price, delivery time, how to order, product availability, packaging, brand, and product choices that has significant effect for customers. Those variables will be interpreted using Diamond strategy. The final results of the research shows, Haws needs to maintain and improve the custom service, because it is as their value from competitors. Haws should maintain the price and develop the quality in order to preserve their customers with greater value benefits. To make sure a good service to the customer, Haws can make a customer feedback form to know about their performance and able to improve based on what customer wants, and hire new staff to handle the service in the future. Make a SOP for production is needed, so the product will be distribute and deliver to customer appropriate with the time estimated. In terms of adding new products can be done by doing collaboration with other brands because it can grab the market, lower cost, and also lower risk. After having many variety of products, Haws can make a website so customer have another alternative to put the order. At the end, more aggressive promotion including marketing activation should be done, so people will more aware about Haws.Keywords: Home decor business, business strategy, Diamond Strategy

Abstract

Abstract - The purpose of this research is to propose a new business strategy for company to survive in the industry. PT EDC Indonesia is an energy development company, which focus on geothermal resources and convert it to electricity. The company established in 2011 and already did 1 stage from geothermal development stage. Indonesia is the world's third largest geothermal electricity producer after United States and the Philippines and the second largest that have geothermal reserves. Indonesia holds 40% of the world's potential geothermal resources beneath thousand of volcanic islands and mountain. Although Indonesia has a huge geothermal potential, the utilization of geothermal energy is very low. Indonesia only utilizes 3.7% from their fully potential. However with the opportunity arises the company still aren't able to cultivate the geothermal resources. In dealing with challenges, some method is needed in order to perform PESTEL Analysis and Porter's Five Forces Analysis. Internal assessment was done using VRIO Framework, Market and Industry Analysis, and Resource Based View. Strategy formulation uses SPACE Matrix and QSPM with SWOT as an input. PT EDC Indonesia is in the quadrant IV and has four options of alternative strategies. Researchers are only taking two alternative strategies that support their research in accordance to their problems, which are intensive strategy and integrative strategy. To know these alternative strategies, the result QSPM is an intensive strategy. The next step is to analyze the Diamond Strategy to formulate new ideas that correspond to its functional strategy. In the end, this strategy will be implemented to follow and win the tender. The new strategy resulting from the analysis of this study including prepare all the data for preliminary survey, make computerized financial statement, prepare financial projections, and hire local experts employee. This strategy is implement to open a new geothermal concession that company will build to keep running in this industry. Keywords: business strategy, geothermal, diamond strategy

Abstract

ISS Indonesia adalah perusahaan layanan fasilitas terpadu yang menyediakan layanan perhotelan seperti kebersihan, keamanan, parkir, dll, katering, dll. Elisa Lumbantoruan sebagai CEO baru ISS Indonesia memiliki visi untuk mengubah organisasi dengan memberdayakan yang berorientasi pada manusia. Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh Perilaku Pemimpin terhadap Kesiapan Perubahan dalam konteks ISS Indonesia, dan (2) untuk menilai implementasi Perilaku Pemimpin dan Kesiapan Perubahan di perusahaan ini untuk meningkatkan meningkatkan kapabilitas perubahan secara efektif di ISS Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan secara kualitatif dari karyawan tingkat bawah di bawah CLT di semua divisi di ISS Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan diadopsi dari MLQ Form 5x Short yang dibuat oleh Bernard M. Bass dan Bruce J. Avolio untuk mengukur kepemimpinan dan hasil dari sudut pandang karyawan. Sementara Change Readiness Assessment yang dibuat oleh Associate Professor T. J. Jenney di Purdue untuk mengukur tingkat Kesiapan Perubahan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Perilaku Pemimpin mengambil peran penting untuk mendukung Kesiapan Perubahan di ISS Indonesia. Kesatuan dari Dimensi Perilaku Pemimpin berpengaruh positif terhadap Kesiapan Perubahan. Hasil kuesioner dan penilaian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa implementasi Perilaku Pemimpin harus ditingkatkan untuk mempengaruhi Kesiapan Perubahan secara optimal di ISS Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) asset management methods, problems, and financial and operational performance effects. The report synthesizes case studies and academic research on how large organizations manage their huge and diverse asset portfolios and how governance, regulatory frameworks, and human resource practices affect their effectiveness. The research begins with case studies of talent management innovations from big Indonesian SOEs. These cases show how proactive human resource approaches can boost company commitment and reduce turnover, improving asset management efficiency. According to the research, governance and legal frameworks influence asset management techniques. Studies show that corporate governance quality affects SOE operational performance. The paper explores how reforms and legislation affect state asset management, highlighting the major changes in SOE governance and legal frameworks, particularly after economic and political reforms. Asset management difficulties for Indonesian SOEs include managing large and diverse asset portfolios, integrating modern management frameworks, and optimizing state asset revenue. According to the study, comprehensive asset management systems, governance transparency, and professional management can address these difficulties. The research examines how asset management strategies affect Indonesian SOE profitability, corporate governance, and performance measures. Strategic asset management boosts financial performance, especially profitability. SOE profitability is greatly affected by current asset and liability management. The study offers advice to Indonesian SOEs and policymakers. Enhancing financial and operational performance requires comprehensive asset management, governance changes, and strategic innovation. These efforts boost Indonesia's economy, demonstrating the importance of asset management in SOE performance.

Abstract

The token economy system is a new incentive system that aims to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall performance at the company. In this study, the Token Economy Method was used to evaluate the impact of the token economy on employee performance improvement. The data were collected using a combination of primary and secondary data methods, including interviews with company stakeholders and questionnaire surveys to employees. The collected data was then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods, with the application of multiple regression. The results of the analysis show the importance of a fair and effective benefits system, and the potential of token economy in improving employee discipline and performance. The fishbone analysis concludes that there are several areas where the conventional allowance system could be improved to improve employee performance, including motivation and rewards, allowance fairness, healthcare and well-being allowances, cost efficiency, and retention impact. This method demonstrates a strong statistical influence on performance improvement, accounting for 96.8% of the variance in employee performance. Overall, this method emerges as an innovative and effective approach to managing bonuses that enhances employee engagement and productivity, creating a performance-driven culture within PT.

Abstract

Developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and incorporating Social Return on Investment (SROI) into the CSR tree planting program are the main objectives of this study. SROI provides a framework for evaluating the approach's economic, social, and environmental worth by connecting activities with goals for financial gains and carbon offsets. The SOP offers detailed instructions for choosing species, planting methods, and maintenance, with a focus on compact planting spaces for effectiveness and impact. a Comprehensive Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems combined with stakeholder collaboration are intended to promote sustainability, transparency, and ongoing development. These tactics guarantee that social, economic, and environmental objectives are met in a harmonious way.

Abstract

The paper explores the revolutionary potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia's financial ecosystem, highlighting its capacity to improve operational efficiency, foster financial inclusion, and tackle specific socio-economic concerns. This study emphasizes Indonesia's varied demographic and digital environment, illustrating how AI-driven innovations like decentralized finance (DeFi), predictive analytics, and blockchain integration transform financial products to cater to disadvantaged people. This study utilizes over 20 scholarly publications and international case studies to highlight the strategic significance of promoting ethical AI practices, mitigating algorithmic bias, and closing infrastructural and talent disparities to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth. The results support implementable methods, such as public-private collaborations, strong regulatory structures, and AI-driven individualized financial solutions, to optimize the advantages of digital transformation in Indonesia's financial industry. Future research must emphasize empirical investigations into AI's capacity to mitigate financial inequalities and stimulate regional innovation, thereby establishing Indonesia as a frontrunner in AI-facilitated economic transformation.
