Abstract

With the rapid development of information and communication technologies leads the Ministry ofNational Education to conduct a basic reformation on educational books with by issuing innovationpolicies in the form of School Book Electronic (BSE) in order to provide a mass of textbooks, with low‐cost,good quality and technology. This study was aimed at finding out how the BSE policy was implementedand what obstacles were found in the field.The study listed different types of research with a descriptive qualitative approach, using in‐depthinterviews, observation, and triangulation documentation as data collection techniques. The sources ofdata in this study are the Head of Department of Education, headmasters, teachers, school staff,students and parents who were selected by using a purposive sampling technique and snowball samplingand the results of observation.The research showed SMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta SMA and SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta were ready withthe necessary infrastructures to implement the BSE policy. However, the implementation of BSE policy atboth schools were not effective. This was due to the following reasons: (1) Insufficient socialization bythe government, (2) Human resources that have not been able to use particular technologies related toInternet, (3) unavailability of the management system in the use of BSE; (4) The limited collections oftextbooks that are available in BSE and the inaccessibility of BSE ; (5) Status / Quality of schools. SMANegeri 8 Yogyakarta as standard international schools and SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta as a nationalstandard school think that the materials in BSE only includes basic competencies (standards). So, BSE isnot suitable to support the achievement of school targets, and (6) Lack of strong legal base for BSE.There is no clarity of shared the authority, tasks and roles that must be executed by each institutionincluded in the hierarchy of National Education Ministry.Keywords: Policy Implementation, BSE

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keefektifan, kendala yang dihadapi, dan solusi sekolah untuk mengatasi kendala dalam implementasi Sistem Manajemen Mutu (SMM) ISO 9001: 2008 di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi model Discrepancy Provus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket  dan pedoman wawancara. Validitas instrumen berupa validitas logis dan empiris. Validitas empiris dihitung dengan teknik Point Biserial,  reliabilitasnya dihitung dengan teknik Kuder-Richardson (KR.20). Teknik analisis data adalah persentase. Hasil penelitian: (1) Keefektifan implementasi SMM ISO 9001: 2008 di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sleman mencapai 85,89% dan kesenjangan 14,11% dengan kriteria “Efektif”. (2) Kendala implementasi: keterbatasan dana; pola pikir dan etos kerja yang rendah; lemahnya komitmen dan respon guru; penyimpanan dan penomoran dokumen yang belum efektif; perbedaan format dokumen. (3) Solusi sekolah: penetapan skala prioritas; meningkatkan kesiapan QMR; meningkatkan pelatihan awareness ISO; meningkatkan peran pengendalian dokumen; menyederhanakan penomoran dokumen; bekerjasama dengan tim.Kata Kunci: keefektifan, Sistem Manajemen Mutu (SMM) ISO 9001: 2008 THE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTATION ISO 9001:2008 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS) IN SMA NEGERI KABUPATEN SLEMANAbstractThis study aims to determine the level of effectiveness, obstacles encountered, and school solution to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001: 2008 in SMA Sleman. It is an evaluation research with Discrepancy Provus model with quantitative approach. The instruments of data collection were the questionnaire and interview guides. The validity of the instruments was logical and empirical. Empirical validity was measured by Point Biserial in which the reliability was measured by Kuder-Richardson. The data analysis technique was the percentage. The results: (1) The effectiveness of implementing ISO 9001: 2008 QMS in SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sleman is 85.89% and the discrepancy is 14.11 % with criteria of “Effective. (2)  The obstacles: limited funds; the lake of mindset and work ethic; weak commitment and response of the teachers; ineffective document storage and numbering; different document format. (3) Solutions: determination of priority scale; readiness of QMR; improvement of training of ISO awareness and document handling role; simplification of document numbering; cooperation with the team.Keywords: effectiveness, ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System (QMS)

Abstract

As individuals, students will experience social life in society. Free interaction and moral decadence pose a threat to the social life of the student community. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is expected to be a solution to dealing with these threats. However, the limited learning hours of only three hours were deemed insufficient to achieve the goals of PAI. The alternative is to organize an Islamic spiritual organization. This study aimed to describe the level of religiosity of members and non-members of Rohis as well as empirically test to determine the differences between Rohis and non-Rohis members in religiosity. This study used a quantitative approach with the subject of 23 students of Rohis members and 223 students of non-Rohis members, consisting both female and male, in the age range of 15-18 years old. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire with the Linkert scale technique. Data analysis used the Independent Sample t-Test. The research results obtained: (1) the level of religiosity of Rohis members at SMA Negeri 2 Bantul has an average value of 104.64 and it is a medium category. (2) The level of religiosity of non-Rohis members at SMA Negeri 2 Bantul has an average value of 101.47 in the medium category. Participation in Rohis will affect the level of religiosity of students, so spiritual activities need to be optimized at schools. Abstract

Supervisi adalah proses mengawasi kegiatan yang ada di madrasah. Pada supervisi terdapat proses pelayanan untuk dapat membantu atau membina guru-guru untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas dalam proses pengajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengimplementasian supervisi kepala madrasah terhadap guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mujahidin Samarinda. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kegiatan observasi lapangan dan wawancara, dengan teknik analisis data berupa teknik analisis isi dari data yang telah dikumpulkan dari hasil penelitian literatur, observasi dan wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu kegiatan supervisi di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mujahidin Samarinda sudah terlaksana dengan menerapkan supervisi akademik dan juga supervisi manejerial. Serta teknik yang dipakai ketika supervisor melakukan supervisi akademik terhadap guru ialah teknik supervisi individual berupa kunjungan kelas. Kegiatan supervisi yang telah diselenggarakan oleh kepala madrasah diantaranya seperti dilangsungkannya rapat untuk melihat perkembangan siswa, mengamati proses pembelajaran secara rutin untuk melihat terselenggara dengan baik atau tidaknya, mengetahui sarana dan prasarana yang dibutuhkan di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Menilai kehadiran guru dengan merekap absen guru setiap minggunya, kesiapan RPP yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran, menyusun program semester, dan program tahunanr. Supervisi yang dilaksanakan oleh kepala madrasah telah berjalan dengan efektif selama proses pembelajaran di madrasah. Abstract Supervision is the process of supervising activities in the school. In supervision there is a service process to be able to help or foster teachers to be able to improve their quality in the teaching process. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the supervision of the head of the school towards teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mujahidin Samarinda. The author uses qualitative methods in this study. Data collection techniques through field observations and interviews, with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis techniques from data that has been collected from the results of literature research, observations, and interviews. The results of this study are that supervision activities at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mujahidin Samarinda have been carried out by applying academic supervision and also managerial supervision. As well as the technique used when supervisors carry out academic supervision of teachers is individual supervision techniques in the form of class visits. Supervision activities that have been organized by the head of the school include holding meetings to see student progress, observing the learning process regularly to see whether it is being implemented properly or not, and knowing the facilities and infrastructure needed in class and outside the classroom. Assess teacher attendance by recording teacher absences every week, the readiness of lesson plans used in learning, and preparing semester and annual programs. Supervision carried out by the head of the school has been running effectively during the learning process at the school.

Abstract

Presently, the tendency of intolerance and radicalism among students is still quite worrying. Strengthening the value of religious moderation in schools is one of the steps to prevent radicalism and intolerance. This research is descriptive qualitative type. Research information comes from school principals, Islamic religious education teachers, and several Muslim students. Data was obtained or collected using interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique is the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models. The data validity technique uses technique and source triangulation. The results showed several forms of activity at SMA N 7 Samarinda to strengthen the value of religious moderation, namely strengthening material on tolerance and unity in diversity in PAI lessons, Qur'an literacy, tausiyah day, Qur'an day, and PHBI activities. The form of strengthening for all religions is by giving messages related to tolerance at flag ceremonies, facilitating rooms and religious teachers for each religion, and equalizing treatment in organizations where they can learn to respect and respect each other's differences. The strengthening process is carried out by providing an in-depth understanding of tolerance and mutual respect through related materials and through activities that refer to a religion that is rahmatan lil 'alamin. The supporting factors are the participation of school principals and teachers in religious moderation activities, having a forum for strengthening the value of moderation, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and an instilled attitude of mutual respect and respect. The inhibiting factor is the lack of time to carry out activities to strengthen the value of religious moderation. But of course, a social attitude is felt, namely fairness, balance, tolerance, and embedded national commitment.

Abstract

Abstrak Penjaminan dan peningkatan mutu pada pendidikan tinggi adalah program krusial yang harus dilaksanakan oleh setiap perguruan tinggi. Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINSI) Samarinda telah menerapkan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI). Penelitian ini bermaksud menjabarkan siklus SPMI yang meliputi tahap penetapan, implementasi, evaluasi, pengontrolan, dan peningkatan. Penelitian berjenis deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan wawancara dalam pengumpulan datanya. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian dikondensasikan, lalu data disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian yaitu: Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu (LPM) membuat pedoman standar dalam bentuk buku. Merupakan proses penerapan mutu melalui penetapan, pengendalian, dan perbaikan. Evaluasi dilakukan dalam Audit Mutu Internal pada setiap akhir semester. Pengendalian dilakukan dengan monitoring evaluasi setelah Rapat Tinjauan Manajemen (RTM). Peningkatan kualitas dilakukan berdasarkan hasil tindak lanjut RTM. Faktor pendukungnya adalah adanya keseuaian kompetensi SDM dan kesadaran auditor akan pentingnya budaya mutu. Faktor penghambatnya adalah tidak adanya reward bagi auditor dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai auditor dan beberapa auditor yang belum tersertifikasi. Kata kunci : SPMI; Perguruan Tinggi Islam Abstract Quality assurance in higher education is a crucial program that must be implemented by every tertiary institution. Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University (UINSI) Samarinda has implemented an Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). This study intends to describe the SPMI cycle which includes the stages of establishment, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement. This qualitative descriptive research uses documentation, interviews, and observations in collecting data. Data analysis consisted of four stages, namely data collection, data compaction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show: The Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) makes standard guidelines in book form. Is the process of implementing quality through determination, control, and improvement. Evaluation is carried out in the Internal Quality Audit at the end of each semester. Control is carried out by monitoring evaluation after the Management Review Meeting (RTM). Quality improvement is carried out based on the results of RTM follow-up. The supporting factors are the suitability of HR competencies and the auditor's awareness of the importance of quality culture. The inhibiting factor is that there is no reward for the auditor in carrying out his duties as an auditor and some auditors are not yet certified. Keywords: SPMI; Islamic College

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari adanya organisasi kemahasiswaan adalah memperluas wawasan, ilmu dan pengetahuan, membentuk kepribadian, dan mengembangkan keterampilan (softskill) baik kepemimpinan (leadership), manajerial, dan komunikasi. Dalam dinamikanya, setiap organisasi pasti memiliki konflik, begitu pula dengan organisasi kemahasiswaan. Mengelola konflik merupakan tugas dari pemimpin. Karakteristik tipe pemimpin juga akan berpengaruh terhadap cara yang digunakan untuk mengelola konflik. Hal ini mungkin juga terjadi pada karakteristik pemimpin laki-laki dan peerempuan dalam mengelola konflik organisasi. Penelitian studi pustaka ini akan mendeskripsikan tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi cara pemimpin perempuan dalam mengelola konflik dan cara-cara pemimpin perempuan dalam mengelola konflik. Faktor pendukung meliputi: 1) kepribadian perempuan yang yang perhatian, baik, supel, berperasaan, dan demokratis. 2) sifat perempuan yang kritis, teliti, dan detail, 3) kemampuan komunikasi perempuan yang efektif, 4) sensitivitas perempuan, dan 5) motivasi belajar serta bekerja perempuan yang tinggi. Faktor penghambat meliputi: 1) kuatnya budaya patriarki dan ajaran agama, 2) peran ganda yang dimiliki perempuan, 3) pendidikan perempuan yang cenderung masih lebih rendah 4) kurangnya dukungan keluarga atau kerabat dekat, 5) kurangnya pengalaman organisasi, 6) sikap perempuan yang kurang tegas. kecenderungan gaya kepemimpinan perempuan adalah transformatif, demokratis, dan partisipatif. Sehingga dengan gaya kepemimpinan tersebut perempuan cenderung menggunakan gaya kolaboratif, kerjasama, dan kompromi dalam pengelolaan konflik. Selain itu perempuan cenderung lebih reaktif dalam menyikapi peran gandanya. Kata Kunci: Pemimpin Perempuan, Pengelolaan Konflik, Organisasi Mahasiswa Abstract The purpose of the student organization is to broaden insight, shape personality, develop soft skills, leadership, managerial, and communication. In its dynamics, every organization must have conflicts, as well as student organizations. Managing conflict is a leader’s job. Characteristics of the leader will also affect the way used to manage conflict. This may also occur in the characteristics of male and female leaders in managing organizational conflict. This study will describe the factors that influence the ways women leaders manage conflict. Supporting factors include: 1) the personality of women who are considetae, kind, sociable, emotional, and democratic. 2) women’s critical, thorough, and detailed nature, 3) women’s effective communication skills, 4) women’s sensitivity, and 5) women’s high motivation to study and work. Inhibiting factors include: 1) strong of patriarchal cultur and religious, 2) women’s dual roles, 3) women’s education which tends to be lower, 4) lack of support from family or close relatives, 5) lack of organizational experiences, 6) attitude of women’s who lack of firm. The trend of womens’s leadership style is transformative, democratic, and participatory. So with this leadership style, women tend to use a collaborative, cooperative, and compromise style in conflict management. In addition, women tend to be more reactive in responding to their dual roles. Keywords: Women Leaders, Conflict Management, Student Organizations.

Abstract

MAN 2 Samarinda is designated as one of the leading MAN in Indonesia. The success of SMA 2 Samarinda is not only determined by the quality of its students, but this success is also obtained through a learning process that cannot be separated from the role of educators who are active in holding workshops, seminars and training. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities were carried out online from home. Based on these conditions, researchers are interested in conducting research on online learning management at MAN 2 Samarinda. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques namely by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Hubberman model. The data validation technique uses triangulation techniques. The results of research on online learning management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Samarinda include three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning includes making documents for 1 period of covid, the process of teaching and learning activities is carried out by the teacher 1 day at home and 1 day at the office with a schedule supported by learning media used such as e-learning madrasas, whatsapp, zoom meeting, telegram, google classroom, google forms, and so on. Learning is carried out online from Monday to Saturday from 08.00 am to 12.00 noon. The media used to connect with each other are madrasah e-learning, whatsapp, zoom meeting, telegram, google classroom, google form, and so on. Evaluation is carried out in 3 stages, namely evaluation conducted by the school principal per week, evaluation through meetings of all stakeholders with the BK per month, and evaluation by the teacher which is carried out after the subject is completed.

Abstract

Abstract Among the many things that can influence the performance of teaching staff, one of them is the work environment. The performance of teaching staff can be influenced by the quality of their working conditions, so that improving the quality of the workplace will have a positive impact on teacher performance. Based on initial observations, the conditions of the teacher's working environment at SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda, namely the teacher's room, are good. Some teachers stated that they were comfortable working in the teacher's room, but some preferred working outside the teacher's room. This encouraged researchers to investigate the influence of the work environment on the performance of teaching staff at SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. This research is quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. Using a saturated sampling technique from a population of 46 teaching staff. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include prerequisite testing and hypothesis testing. The results obtained from this research show that the work environment influences the performance of teaching staff by 9.78% while the remaining 90.22% is influenced by other factors. The research produced an rxy value of 0.312 based on this data. If referring to the interpretation table, a correlation with an r value between 0.20 to 0.40 can be considered a weak correlation and has a positive nature. This means that there is a relatively weak relationship between two variables and the direction of the relationship is positive, meaning that when the value of one variable increases, the value of the other variable tends to also increase, even though the relationship is not as strong. From the results of the t test, it is known that the tcount value is 2.295 and the ttable value is 1.681. With these results, we reject Ho and accept Ha, and draw the conclusion that there is a positive and significant influence between the work environment on the performance of teaching staff at SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. Keywords: Work Environment, Performance, Educator Abstrak Di antara banyak hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja tenaga pendidik salah satunya ialah lingkungan kerja. Kinerja tenaga pendidik dapat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas kondisi kerjanya, sehingga peningkatan kualitas tempat kerja akan berdampak positif terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal, kondisi lingkungan kerja guru di SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda yakni ruang guru baik. Beberapa guru menyatakan nyaman bekerja di ruang guru namun beberapa lebih senang bekerja di luar ruang guru. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk menyelidiki pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik di SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. Menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dari 46 populasi tenaga pendidik. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik sebesar 9,78% sementara sisanya 90,22% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Penelitian menghasilkan nilai rxy sebesar 0,312. Jika mengacu pada tabel interpretasi, korelasi dengan nilai r antara 0,20 hingga 0,40 dapat dianggap sebagai korelasi yang lemah dan memiliki sifat positif. Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang relatif lemah antara dua variabel dan arah hubungannya adalah positif, yang berarti bahwa saat nilai satu variabel meningkat, nilai variabel lainnya cenderung juga meningkat, meskipun hubungan tersebut tidak begitu kuat. Dari hasil uji t, diketahui nilau thitung sebesar 2,295 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,681. Dengan hasil ini maka menolak Ho dan menerima Ha, dan menarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik di SMK Negeri 14 Samarinda. Abstract

Abstrak Administrasi kesiswaan merupakan bagian dari administrasi pendidikan yang bertugas memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan siswa. Mulai dari penerimaan, pembelajaran hingga kelulusan peserta, hingga tercapainya tujuan yang ingin dicapai secara efisien dan efektif. Tujuan peneliti melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis 1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan administrasi kesiswaan dalam mengelola sekolah atau madrasah 2) Tujuan administrasi kesiswaan di sekolah atau madrasah. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur kualitatif atau penelitian kepustakaan, teknis pengumpulan data melalui sumber data primer dan sekunder dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi untuk menarik kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Manajemen pelaksanaan administrasi kesiswaan di sekolah atau madrasah meliputi perencanaan siswa, proses administrasi siswa, penerimaan siswa baru, absensi siswa, pembinaan kedisiplinan siswa, kenaikan kelas serta jurusan, siswa mutasi, dan wisuda serta alumni. 2) Administrasi kesiswaan selama pembelajaran di sekolah atau madrasah harus dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan baik sehingga tujuan pendidikan dalam administrasi kesiswaan dapat terlaksana dengan semaksimal mungkin, seperti membantu siswa untuk menambah dan meningkatkan kemampuan, pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan dalam segala hal guna membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan minat, bakat sesuai dengan kemampuannya, mengembangkan sikap positif dan realistis dalam memanfaatkan waktu luangnya, melatih siswa untuk disiplin, membantu siswa dalam memperoleh kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan hidup dalam mencapai dan melaksanakan pendidikan secara optimal. Abstract Student administration is a part of educational administration, tasked with solving problems related to students. Starting from acceptance, learning to graduation of participants, to achieve the goals to be achieved both efficiently and effectively. The purpose of the researcher conducting this study is to analyze 1) What are the implementation of student administration in managing schools or madrasahs 2) The purpose of student administration in schools or madrasahs. This type of research uses qualitative literature studies or literature research, technical data collection through primary and secondary data sources with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique uses content analysis to draw conclusions from the research results. The results of this study are that 1) The management of the implementation of student administration in schools or madrasahs includes student planning, student administration processes, admission of new students, student attendance, discipline coaching for students, class advancement as well as majors, student transfer, and graduation and alumni. 2) Student administration during learning in schools or madrasahs must be able to run smoothly and well so that the objectives of education in student administration can be carried out as much as possible, such as helping students to add and improve their abilities, knowledge, attitudes and skills in all respects in order to help students to increase their interests, talents according to their abilities, develop a positive and realistic attitude in utilizing their free time, Train students to be disciplined, assist students in obtaining happiness and well-being in life in achieving and implementing education optimally.
