Abstract

Abstract This study is motivated by the importance of inclusive education to ensure that every child, including children with special needs, has the same rights in education. SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda has been designated as an inclusive school since 2011 and in 2023 will become one of the inclusion coordinators in Samarinda City. This study aims to examine the management of inclusive education at SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles, Huberman and Saldana models, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda implements inclusive education through various aspects of management. At the planning stage, schools conduct assessments of students with special needs to identify students with special needs, plan individual support, and provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities and competitions. At the organizing stage, the division of tasks between teachers and the inclusion team is carried out clearly and the grouping of tasks based on function reflects the management of education personnel. At the implementation stage, teacher motivation is increased through training in the context of education personnel management, while effective communication between schools shows the implementation of supportive communication. At the monitoring stage, there are performance standards and monitoring mechanisms in the curriculum and education personnel management, with periodic evaluations involving joint reflection, indicating sustainable environmental management and performance. The implications of this study are the need to strengthen teacher capacity through inclusive leadership, as well as continuous evaluation. Recommendations for schools include increasing training, establishing partnerships, improving inclusive facilities, and disseminating good practices to other schools. Keywords: Inclusive Education, Educational Management, Inclusive School Abstrak Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pendidikan inklusif yang menjamin bahwa setiap anak berhak memperoleh layanan yang sama dalam Pendidikan termasuk bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda ditunjuk sebagai sekolah inklusif sejak tahun 2011 dan pada tahun 2023 akan menjadi salah satu koordinator inklusi di Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji manajemen pendidikan inklusif di SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menguunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi Teknik digunakan dalam mencari data yang sah/ valid. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SMP Negeri 7 Samarinda melaksanakan pendidikan inklusif melalui berbagai aspek manajemen. Pada tahap perencanaan, sekolah melakukan asesmen siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk mengidentifikasi siswa berkebutuhan khusus, merencanakan dukungan individual, dan memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan perlombaan, Pada tahap pengorganisasian, pembagian tugas antara guru dan tim inklusi dilakukan dengan jelas dan pengelompokan tugas berdasarkan fungsi mencerminkan pengelolaan tenaga kependidikan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, motivasi guru ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dalam konteks manajemen tenaga kependidikan, sedangkan komunikasi efektif antar sekolah menunjukkan terlaksananya komunikasi yang mendukung. Pada tahap pemantauan, terdapat standar kinerja dan mekanisme pemantauan dalam kurikulum dan manajemen tenaga kependidikan, dengan evaluasi berkala yang melibatkan refleksi bersama, menunjukkan pengelolaan lingkungan dan kinerja yang berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan kapasitas guru melalui kepemimpinan yang inklusif, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi bagi sekolah yaitu meningkatkan pelatihan, menjalin kemitraan, memperbaiki sarana inklusif, dan mendiseminasikan praktik baik ke sekolah lain. Abstract

In today’s world of technological advancements and changes in teaching methods, digital transformation in Islamic education is becoming increasingly important in this disruptive era. This study examines how digitalization can be used to improve access to Islamic education through digital knowledge. The main focus is on the integration of information technology into the educational process, the development of digital skills for students, and the use of intuition to empower marginalized communities. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature review and policy analysis as its primary methodology. The study findings suggest that digital transformation can improve access, raise educational standards, and strengthen the reach of Islamic education worldwide. For this transformation to be successful, collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and the general public is needed to create a healthy and stable digital ecosystem.

Abstract

“Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) is an Indonesian government program launched to improve students’ skills and competencies, both hard and soft skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation strategy of the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) program in Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and a multi-case study method, this study examines the implementation of MBKM in Islamic religious colleges in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using multi-case analysis techniques, starting from single case analysis/individual case and continuing with cross-case analysis/cross-case analysis. After being analyzed, data validity was checked through the degree of certainty, transferability, and trustworthiness. The results of this study indicate that implementing MBKM in PTKI uses a curriculum overhaul and adaptation strategy. The curriculum overhaul is implemented through learning innovation programs, collaboration, learning opportunities, eight program learning opportunities, character education, and curriculum models. Implementing curriculum adaptation is carried out through the ease of opening new study programs, study program accreditation, and the right to study outside the program for three semesters. The MBKM program is evaluated internally through internal quality audits and externally through national and international accreditation.

Abstract

According to the Global Gender Gap Report 2025 (WEF), gender equality in Indonesia remains unequal globally, although women's roles in public leadership, including education, have been shown to increase institutional presence. However, previous research has not comprehensively analyzed the characteristics of women's transformational leadership. This study aims to examine the characteristics of women's transformational leadership from a gender perspective. The study used a qualitative approach through interviews, documentation, and observation, and analyzed the data using a multi-case study, including individual and cross-case analysis. The results show that the characteristics of women's transformational leadership include idealized influence with feminist role models grounded in religious values, inspirational motivation grounded in development, intellectual stimulation grounded in globalization, and individualized consideration grounded in personal growth. This research contributes to the development of knowledge on transformational leadership from a gender perspective. It provides practical recommendations for women's leadership models and a paradigm shift in gender bias in education.

Abstract

Abstract Improving the quality of learning is becoming increasingly important in the modern era. One aspect that influences learning quality is the availability of facilities and infrastructure. However, suboptimal management of facilities and infrastructure and a lack of attention to the principles of facility and infrastructure management often hamper the learning process. This study aims to analyze the optimization of facility and infrastructure management principles in improving learning quality at Darussalam Samarinda Islamic Junior High School (MTs). This research is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, document analysis, and observations. Data sources consisted of the madrasah principal, students, teachers, and the deputy principal for facilities and infrastructure. This study shows that improving the quality of learning can be done by applying the principles of optimal facility and infrastructure management, including: 1) the principle of achieving goals by providing infrastructure that supports learning objectives, 2) the principle of efficiency carried out starting from the maturity of planning and optimal use and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, 3) administrative principles through the provision of infrastructure according to quality standards, 4) clarity of responsibility with the division of roles and tasks to teachers, and 5) the principle of cohesiveness through coordination, cooperation, and participation of all parties. This study shows that the quality of learning in madrasas can be achieved through optimizing the principles of facility and infrastructure management optimally. This is a practical study that educational institutions need to design facility management strategies to meet learning objectives. Keywords: Quality of Learning, Principles, Facilities and Infrastructure Management Abstrak Peningkatan mutu pembelajaran menjadi semakin penting di era modern. Salah satu aspek yang mempengaruhi mutu pembelajaran adalah ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana. Namun pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang belum optimal dan tidak memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip manajemen sarana dan prasarana sering menghambat proses pembelajaran. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis optimalisasi prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana dalam mutu pembelajaran di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Darussalam Samarinda. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, analisis dokumen, dan pengamatan. Sumber data terdiri dari kepala madrasah, siswa, guru, dan wakil kepala bidang sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan menerapkan prinsip prinsip pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang optimal, meliputi: 1) prinsip pencapaian tujuan dengan menyediakan sarana prasarana yang mendukung tujuan pembelajaran, 2) prisnip efisiensi yang dilakukan mulai dari kematangan perencanaan serta penggunaan dan pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana yang optimal, 3) prinsip administratif melalui penyediaan sarana prasarana sesuai standar mutu, 4) kejelasan tanggung jawab dengan pembagian peran maupun tugas kepada guru, dan 5) prinsip kekohesifan melalui koordinasi, kerja sama, dan partisipasi seluruh pihak. Studi ini memperlihatkan bahwa mutu pembelajaran di madrasah dapat dicapai melalui optimaliasi prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan fasilitas dan infrastrutur secara optimal. Hal ini menjadi kajian praktis bahwa lembaga pendidikan perlu merancang strategi pengelolaan fasilitas untuk memenuhi tujuan pembelajaran.
