Abstract

Early Childhood Education  is an important foundation in shaping children’s character and potential, encompassing physical, cognitive, language, socio-emotional, and creative development. This study implemented project-based learning with the theme "My Plants" at KB Sejahtera Mandiangin Barat as an innovative strategy to enhance the creativity and collaboration skills of children aged 5-6 years. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that children's involvement in designing, planting, and caring for plants can trigger the emergence of creative ideas that are reflected in various forms of expression, such as drawing, storytelling, and hands-on practice in the field. In addition, children learn to work together through task allocation, simple discussions, and group decision-making. This collaboration not only improves social skills but also fosters a sense of responsibility and concern for shared outcomes. Barriers encountered, such as limited supporting facilities and varying levels of child participation, can be minimized through careful planning, the use of alternative media, and intensive mentoring from teachers. These findings strengthen the concept of experiential learning and social interaction as an effective approach in ECE. The “My Plants” project not only enhances creativity and collaboration but also fosters children's concern for the environment. This model is worth recommending as a good practice that can be replicated in other early childhood education institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of e-filing in national level is popular among taxpayer, but it is still less favorable in the regional scale of East Java III. The objective of this research is to understand the behavioral acceptance of taxpayers toward e-filing through factors that affect its real usage based on the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The respondents of this research are 70 civil servant lecturers of Brawijaya University who have used e-filing. The data of this study were collected through questionnaires and were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis in SmartPLS 3.2.7. The result shows that factors which positively influence behavioral acceptance of taxpayers toward e-filing are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, interpersonal influence, external influence, subjective norm, and behavioral intention. In addition, most respondents agree that e-filing is acceptable for online tax reporting system. Abstract

Speech delay is a common developmental issue in early childhood that impacts communication skills, social interactions, and academic readiness. Early intervention is a crucial step in addressing this delay, but its effectiveness is greatly influenced by parental involvement, including fathers. This study aims to describe the role of fathers in early intervention to support the language development of children with speech delays. The study used a qualitative case study approach with several fathers of children with speech delays. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that fathers' active involvement significantly impacted children's language development. Fathers who consistently provided stimulation such as reading stories, engaging in dialogue, playing while communicating, and responding to each child's verbal attempts accelerated the development of both expressive and receptive language. A father's more varied and exploratory communication style has been shown to enrich children's vocabulary, improve their ability to understand instructions, and encourage children to speak up. Furthermore, fathers' emotional support helps increase children's self-confidence and emotional regulation, making them better prepared to interact with their social environment. Research confirms that fathers' roles not only influence language development but also support children's cognitive and socio-emotional development. Thus, father involvement in early intervention is an important factor that must be strengthened to help children overcome speech delays and achieve optimal development.
