Abstract

Introduction to Color Games Through the Concept of Polar and Non Polar Compounds. This research was conducted to provide a new learning experience by adapting the concept of color recognition combined with simple science (polar and non polar). This study uses quantitative research approach with one-shot case study type. The results of a simple experimental process conducted in the learning process get positive data that is 88% or 15 children get a very good score and 12% or 2 children get a good score. Based on these results, similar activities can be carried out to introduce children to the concept of mixing colors adapting simple science in learning activities.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan penelitian sekunder yang menggunakan data yang sebelumnya telah dikumpulkan oleh orang lain sehingga peneliti tinggal mengambil secara ilmiah melalui data hasil penelitian yang dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah. Dari temuan jurnal yang dilakukan didapatkan bahwa manfaat alat permainan edukatif wire game membawa manfaat dalam menstimulasi kemampuan konsentrasi anak, kedua ditemuan bahwasannya media wire game dalam menstimulasi kemampuan anak dalam memahami bentuk geomtri secara sederhana. Besar harapan artikel ini dalam menjadi pemicu peneliti dalam menguji manfaat meida wire game dalam aspek perkembangan lainnya

Abstract

Background of the study: Gross motor skills constitute one of the essential developmental domains in early childhood education. Their development is equally important as cognitive, social–emotional, and language development. Therefore, early childhood educators must possess the ability to design learning experiences that effectively stimulate children’s physical and motor development. However, learning activities targeting gross motor skills in many early childhood institutions remain limited, particularly in the use of structured, engaging, and competition-based play that can enhance children’s balance, agility, and strength. Aims and scope of paper: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of competition-integrated obstacle games in improving the gross motor skills of children aged 4–5 years at TK Khadijah Surabaya. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model was implemented. The sample consisted of 31 children in Group A at TK Khadijah Surabaya selected through a non-probability sampling technique. The instrument used was an observation sheet assessing three gross motor categories: balance, agility, and strength. Data analysis included prerequisite tests—normality and homogeneity—and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test. Reliability testing yielded a coefficient of 0.966, normality values were 0.130 (pretest) and 0.196 (posttest), and the homogeneity test produced a value of 0.217. Results: The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 at alpha = 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The mean pretest score was 36.5, while the mean posttest score increased to 55.1, demonstrating that competition-based obstacle games effectively enhanced children’s gross motor development. Contribution: This study provides empirical evidence that competitive obstacle play can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy for stimulating gross motor development in early childhood. Practically, the findings offer guidance for early childhood educators in designing engaging, play-based learning activities that optimize children’s physical development in educational settings.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Mehe's video-based learning animation "Aku Anak Disiplin" to introduce discipline in children aged 4-5 years. Subject in this research and development that is children 4-5 years in Early childhood education institution Anna Husada Bangkalan. Research and development this using the model Borg and Gall. Data techniques using questionnaire (media experts questionnaire, material experts questionnaire, and child question response). Media's feasibility based on the results of the media experts is obtaining the percentage 83.5%, based on the results of the experts of the material obtained a percentage of 85%. Media's feasibility based on product test results obtained a percentage of 96%. So, it can be concluded that media learning video animation "Aku Anak Disiplin" worth it is used to introduced discipline in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang didanai oleh DPPM Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains dan Teknologi Tahun 2025 dilaksanakan di Desa Campur, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Nganjuk-Jawa Timur. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berdokus kepada edukasi kepada kader serta orang tua tentang pemenuhan gizi melalui pemilihan dan pemilahan makanan yang sehat dan dapat mendukung tumbuh kembang anak. Selain itu, kader posyandu bersama orang tua juga terlibat dalam penggunaan aplikasi yang diciptakan oleh TIM Pengabdian yaitu GESPA “Gerakan Sadar Gizi dan Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual Pada Anak”. beberapa permasalahan yang muncul pada hasil identifikasi adalah kader posyandu sebenarnya telah memiliki pemahaman dasar terkait gizi anak usia dini, namun pengetahuan mereka masih terbatas pada jenis-jenis makanan yang umum dan belum spesifik kepada bagaimana memberikan edukasi kepada orang-tua jika terjadi GTM pada anak, pemahaman kader terkait isu pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak masih kurang, dimana kasus-kasus bulliying masih sering terjadi dan salah satu peran yang bisa diimplementasikan adalah pencegahan sedini mungkin, sebagian besar kader memiliki gawai (smartphone), tetapi keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk edukasi dan penyebaran informasi seputar kesehatan dan gizi anak masih minim. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ceramah, Dialog, dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) kepada mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu PKK Desa Campur yang lebih spesifiknya adalah kepada Kader Posyandu. Jumlah masyarakat yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berasal dari kader PKK yang bertigas sebagai Kader Posyandu di Desa Campur sejumlah 35 orang, dan orang tua sebanyak 71 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan kuesioner yang diisi kader posyandu tentang pemahaman kader posyandu terhadap pemenuhan gizi anak sebesar 75,1%, pemahaman tentang pencegahan kekerasan seksual sebesar 71, 27%, dan pemahaman tentang literasi digital sebesar 84,32%. Berdasarkan perolehan skor kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksakakan untuk membentuk kesadaran kader posyandu dan orang tua tentang gizi anak memperoleh kategori skor baik. Kata kunci: gerakan sadar gizi; kader posyandu; pemanfaatan literasi digital; pencegahan kekerasan seksual. AbstractThe Community Service Program funded by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in 2025 was implemented in Campur Village, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency, East Java. This community service activity focused on providing education to community health cadres and parents regarding nutritional fulfillment through the selection and sorting of healthy foods that support children's growth and development. In addition, Posyandu cadres and parents were involved in the utilization of an application developed by the Community Service Team, namely GESPA (Nutrition Awareness and Child Sexual Violence Prevention Movement). Several issues identified during the preliminary assessment indicated that Posyandu cadres already possessed basic knowledge related to early childhood nutrition; however, their understanding remained limited to general types of food and had not specifically addressed strategies for educating parents when children experience feeding difficulties (GTM). Furthermore, cadres’ understanding of child sexual violence prevention was still inadequate, as bullying cases frequently occurred, highlighting the need for early preventive measures. Although most cadres owned smartphones, their skills in utilizing digital technology for educational purposes and disseminating information related to child health and nutrition remained limited. The methods employed in this program included lectures, dialogue sessions, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) conducted with community service partners, namely the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) organization of Campur Village, specifically targeting Posyandu cadres. The participants involved in this program consisted of 35 PKK members serving as Posyandu cadres and 71 parents. The results of the community service activities demonstrated that, based on questionnaires completed by the Posyandu cadres, their level of understanding regarding child nutritional fulfillment reached 75.1%, understanding of child sexual violence prevention reached 71.27%, and digital literacy comprehension reached 84.32%. Based on the overall score achievement, the implemented community service program successfully enhanced the awareness of Posyandu cadres and parents regarding child nutrition and was categorized as achieving a good level of outcome. Keywords: integrated health post cadres; nutrition awareness movement; sexual violence prevention; utilization of digital literacy
