Abstract

This research is become to know about teacher’s perspective especially on the students science literacy. In this century, science literacy is a must skills they had. Inquiry models can help to increase that skills. Process in the inquiry make the students as centre through scientific activities thru finding an answer for the solution the problems  of the learning independently. Therefore, the research was carried out the aims to know about inquiry model in science learning, to know students’ sciencse literacy and the effect of inquiry models for science literacy based on teacher perspective. A method for this research is quantitative descriptive and survey as the research design. High grades primary teacher at  Dukupuntang district become the population. Proportional sampling is used to this research. The instument is questionnaire. The implication is inquiry could intensify science literacy because it can make the people compete in the mass of technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning on concept mastery and students' learning motivation related to the water cycle theme. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in the study were the fifth-grade elementary school students in Sumedang District, totaling 20 people. The instrument used consisted of a scale of observations, tests, and questionnaires given before and after project-based learning. The results showed that there was an increase in students' mastery of concepts after learning, from the average value of students' science affective increased 4.3 to 5. There was also the effect of project-based learning on student learning outcomes of student learning motivation because in the results of the questionnaire that obtained the interest 85% of students answered agree on it can be said that the learning interest of fifth-grade students is very good in the implementation of science learning.

Abstract

improve students' critical thinking skills. The learning model is the Somatic, Auditory, Visual and Intellectual (SAVI) and Cooperative Type Jigsaw learning models. The Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) and Cooperative Type Jigsaw learning models are the right way to improve students' critical thinking skills. In the learning process, the SAVI learning model and Cooperative Type Jigsaw use physical movements to improve the thinking or mental processes, and through facilitating a variety of learning styles that each student has. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in flood material through the SAVI learning model and Type Jigsaw Cooperative. The design of this study was quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all elementary school students in the Tanjungsari District. The sample technique used was purposive sampling, so that the samples obtained were SDN Mariuk as the experimental class and Lebakgede Elementary School as the control class. The instruments used were test instruments in the form of tests of critical thinking skills, and non-test instruments in the form of student response questionnaires, observation of student activities, and observation of teacher performance. Based on the results of the study, it was found that learning using the SAVI learning model had a positive effect on students 'critical thinking skills when compared to the Cooperative Type Jigsaw learning model which gave little influence on students' critical thinking skills. The response of students in the experimental class and the control class was different, even though the two classes gave positive responses but the responses of students in the experimental class were higher than the responses of students in the control class.

Abstract

This research's objectives is to describe the implementation of scientific approach to improve learning outcome and maps comprehension in SDN Jatihurip. Scientific approach is very appropriate to be applied in the learning process in Indonesia The most important is the scientific study of scholarship in the learning process because it will improve the quality of learners by developing the element of knowledge attitudes and skills of students. Scientific method refers to the investigative techniques on one or several phenomena or symptoms, acquire new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. To be called scientific, the search method (method of inquiry) should be based on evidence of the object observable, empirical and measurable with the principles of the specific reasoning. Therefore, the scientific method generally includes a series of activities of collecting data through observation or experiment, process information or data, analyze and formulate and test hypotheses. While the steps are the steps: observe, ask, exploration, associate, communicate. Curriculum implementation in 2013 with the scientific approach should have been implemented since the early start of elementary school, because education is expected to have sustained did not break up with high school and college , if the implementation of this curriculum is true then the next 5 or 15 years Indonesia will be a great state to be able to compete with any country in the world.

Abstract

Indirectly, all the human activity are connected with mathematics. For example, if we doing economics activity in the market, we certainly do the counting like sum, diminution, multiplication, or division. Other than that, mathematics could be a facilitator on other various of scientific. Also mathematics could make a sistematic mindset on the brain for carry out their lives. Because of that, all human should be have mathematical connection skills  and also have big motivaion for learning mathematics. Since the old time, mathematics learned on school. The one of innovations of learning mathematic is ethnomatematics based contextual approach. The one of ethnomatematics is Cirebon’s culture result is like “batik motif”, traditional food, and traditional game. This study aims to know the differences in the increase in mathematical connection skills and student motivation on student who learn with ethnomatematical approaches and scientific approach, to know the differences in improving mathematical connection skills and learnig motivation trhrough an ethnomatematic based contextual approach and saintific approach, and to know the correlation between connection mathematics skills and learning motivation.This research used pretest-posttest control group design with samples of grade III SDN Grogol 1 dan SDN Dukuh 1 Cirebon. The results of this study are that there is an increase in N-Gain pretest and posttest scores on mathematical connection skills and learning motivation both of ethnomatematical based contextual approach and scientific approach. Conclusions of this research are: 1) the positive significanly effect of mathematical connection skills and learning motivation from ethnomatematics based contextal approaches, 2) the positive effect but not significantly increasing of mathematical connection skills and leraning motivation with scientific approach, 3) there is correlation between mathematical connection skills with learning motivation.

Abstract

 Berdasarkandata awal yang diperoleh di kelas IV SDN Palasari Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan Kabupaten Sumedang, pada pembelajaran IPS materi keanekaragaman rumah adat yang ada di Indonesia hasil tes masih rendah dan guru tidak menggunakan media. Maka digunakanlah media aplikasi appy pie berbasis android, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, lembar wawancara, catatan lapangan, tes sikap nasionalisme dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terselesaikan dalam tiga siklus, Data yang diperoleh pada perencanaan siklus I mencapai 86,6%, siklus II 93,3% dan siklus III 100%. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I mencapai 85,7%, siklus II 92,8% dan siklus III mencapai 100%. Aktivitas siswa siklus I mencapai 15,62%, siklus II 37,5%, dan siklus III 97,91%. Tes sikap nasionalisme, siklus I mencapai 38%, siklus II 65,62% dan siklus III 93,75%. Tes hasil belajar pada siklus I mencapai 65,62%, siklus II 84,40%, siklus III 93,75%. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media aplikasi appy pie berbasis android, pada materi keanekaragaman rumah adat yang ada di Indonesia berhasil meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Palasari Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan Kabupaten Sumedang.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah siswa kesulitan menulis saran. Pada penelitian ini digunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sebagai upaya tindakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa menulis saran menggunakan kosakata baku dan kalimat efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan level 1 dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mengetahui perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan hambatan yang muncul dari tindakan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan FGD. Data diolah menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman dan divalidasi dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian dalam perencanaan tindakan RPP sudah mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Pada pelaksanaan tindakan, guru melakukan pembelajaran sesuai dengan langkah-langkah TGT yaitu penyajian materi, pengelompokan, permainan, turnamen, penghargaan. Hambatan yang muncul adalah guru kesulitan mengkondisikan siswa. Berdasarkan data tersebut dirumuskan hipotesis tindakan yaitu jika pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, maka dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan menulis kalimat saran pada siswa.

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the improvement of students 'mathematical understanding and disposition on the Contextual Approach assisted by Geogebra media and conventional learning models, to find out the differences between the use of the Contextual Approach assisted by Geogebra media and conventional learning model sons tudents' mathematica understanding and disposition ability mathematical understanding and disposition. The research method used is quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Cikawung I (experiment) and SDN Cikawung III (control). The results obtained are: 1) Contextual Approach assisted by Geogebra media and conventional learning models improve the ability of understanding and mathematical disposition significantly, 2) Contextual approach assisted by Geogebra media and conventional learning models can significantly improve mathematical dispositions, 3) to positive relationships between abilities mathematical understanding and disposition, 4) students respond well to learning activities.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya menghafal materi dan konsep-konsep, akan tetapi belajar bagaimana proses dalam pembelajaran. Pada kenyataannya pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguasaan konsep dan kreativitas siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek berbantuan whatsapp group. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu pada SDN 2 Kemantren. Simpulan yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini adalah dalam pembelajaran sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek nilai siswa memang sudah bagus. Sebelum menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, siswa belum dapat mengembangkan kreativitasnya karena pembelajaran hanya satu arah. Setelah menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek berbantuan whatsapp group, ada beberapa siswa yang sudah memahami konsep. Kemudian setelah menggunakan pembelajaran berbais proyek siswa dapat mengembangkan kreativitasnya melalui pembuatan proyek dirumah.

Abstract

OlehRina Septiani1605874Penguasaan konsep pada pembelajaran masih sangat rendah di sekolah dasar untuk mengetahui konsep. Penguasaan konsep dapat diukur melalui tes atau ulangan harian yang menjadikannya sebagai patokan penilaian. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan goals penguasaan konsep utuk mengetahui seberapa jauh siswa memahami dan mengerti tentang penguasaan konsep. Subject penelitian yang dilakukan pada peelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bulak kecamatan Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tes uraian peguasaan konsep materi siklus air untuk instrument. Pada hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terdapat tiga kelompok yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, yang pertama menggunakan paham konsep, kedua miskonsepsi, dan ketiga tidak paham konsep. paham konsep siswa dapat paham apa yang telah dilihat pada tes uraian dan mengetahui jawaban, untuk miskonsepsi siswa ketika ingin menjawab pertanyaan pada tes uraian dari hasil jawaban siswa menjawab benar akan tetapi dalam pernyataan yang ditulis siswa memilih jawaban ragu-ragu atau tidak yakin atau pada miskonsepsi siswa menuliskan jawaban salah tetapi pada pernyataan siswa menjawab yakin, tidak paham konsep artinya siswa benar-benar tidak mengetahui jawaban yang terdapat pada butir soal. Untuk mengetahui siswa termasuk kedalam tiga kategori tersebut peneliti menggunakan pembelajaran melalui dalam jaringan (daring) dengan aplikasi WhatsApp Group. Hasil jawaban yang dilalukan dalam uji tes uraian pada siswa secara daring melalui WhatsApp Group maka diperoleh 47% siswa miskonsepsi, 37% siswa paham konsep dan 16% siswa tidak paham konsep.
