<![CDATA[Faktor utama permasalahan mitra adalah belum memaksimalkan sepenuhnya media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi google teknologi informatika atau komputer yang seharusnya sudah bisa diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran terutama di masa pandemi seperti saat ini. Dari alasan tersebut, maka tujuan dari studi ini ialah untuk mengetahui seberapa pentingnya aplikasi google bagi kebutuhan para guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran secara daring di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang ditawarkan berupa pelatihan sekaligus pendampingan intensif selama 3-5 kali tatap muka berupa penguasaan beberapa aplikasi google di komputer atau telepon selular untuk seluruh guru-guru/ staf pengajar di sekolah, selanjutnya diberikan kuesioner dan evaluasi. Dari peserta guru sebagai sampel kuesioner pembelajaran daring, hanya 11,11% yang menyatakan bahwa aplikasi google tidak atau kurang membantu mereka dalam menyelesaikan tugas/pekerjaan di kegiatan belajar dan pembelajaran. Namun hanya sebanyak 55,55% yang menyatakan tidak menemukan kesulitan dalam penggunaan aplikasi google, itu pun yang sifatnya familiar. Hal tersebut diduga karena seringnya menggunakan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut sehingga akhirnya terbiasa dan menjadi mudah. Jadi, berdasarkan hasil kuesioner ini disimpulkan bahwa para guru masih perlu diberikan pelatihan terkait sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi google karena masih banyaknya aplikasi google yang belum familiar digunakan sebagai media untuk pembelajaran daring]]>

<![CDATA[Gunung Padang Site in Cianjur is a cone-shaped hill area filled with relics of the Megalithic era in the form of stone objects. Punden terraces – a place for the worship of ancestral spirits – has become a hallmark and an important cultural heritage as a part of the distinctive characteristics of the indigenous culture in Nusantara. This study aims to communicate the cultural message of the punden terraces through the visual strategy of photography with the landscape genre, the art of photography that explores the beauty of nature and sharpens the landscape. Quantitatively, this study conducted a survey to find out the attraction of the photo objects. The result showed that the majority of respondents considered the scenery on the Gunung Padang Site to be more interesting than the stone objects and the daily life of surrounding communities. Whereas qualitatively, this study discusses the elements of visual strategy using the theory of photography with visual communication semiotic approach, especially in terms of the shot sizes and the framing of visual space. Punden terraces' photographs in landscape photography are able to communicate cultural messages about human activity in the past. This, in turn, will contribute to enriching scientific references of visual communication design]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of time management and discipline on optimal learning outcomes. This research is a survey research with a population of junior high school and senior high school students of the Islamic Education Foundation Nur el Arafah Bekasi. The sample was taken by random sampling technique of 85 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple regression. From data processing, the results obtained: 1). There is a significant effect of time management and discipline together on optimal learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of the value of Fh = 24.324 and Sig. = 0.000 0.005 2). There is a significant effect of time management on optimal learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of the value of Th = 4.093 and Sig. = 0.000 0.005 3). There is a significant effect of discipline on optimal learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of the value of Th = 3.679 and Sig. = 0.000 0.005. It is better if students are good at using and managing their time very well and effectively because it has a positive impact on optimal learning outcomes and the more productive time they have, the more achievement, the more activities carried out and can be completed on time, so that one day all the ideals are expected or the target set can be achieved optimally. And they should also have strong discipline from an early age so that they are accustomed to doing tasks wholeheartedly, not procrastinating, let alone lazy, because with high discipline all duties and responsibilities can be carried out optimally.]]>

Kondisi ini disebabkan karena guru kurang termotivasi dan tidak mendapatkan pengetahuan yang cukup untuk melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas sekaligus menghasilkan artikel ilmiah sebagai hasil dari penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring dengan agenda dan materi yang sudah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Hasilnya, peserta antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan mampu melaksanakan seluruh tahapan penelitian tindakan kelas serta menghasilkan artikel ilmiah yang dikirimkan ke jurnal-jurnal nasional di Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[Food security is a condition for the fulfillment of food needs for each household, namely, from sufficient food availability with maintained quality as well as being economical. Household gardens as one of the nearest sources to produce sources of household food security in fulfillment of the needs of household nutrition and also to reduce household expenditure as well as increase household income. The aim of this PKM (Community Services) activity is to escalate housewives’ capability in managing the household gardens and also provide insight, knowledge as well as transferred expertise in the cultivation of vegetable crops in limited spaces. This method is carried out through counseling, discussion, as well as simulation so that they can be practiced at their homes. The results from this PKM activity are to create the cultivation of healthy vegetable crops that are rich in nutrition in every household at Vinus housing Desa Sayang Kecamatan Jatinangor Kabupaten Sumedang Jawa Barat.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of the Ancient Catastropic Team's research on the Gunung Padang Site in Karyamukti Village, Cianjur, West Java, in 2011 showed that the site was older than the Giza Pyramid in Egypt. The jumble of stones in the hilly area of the site is authentic evidence of the archeology of the Megalithic era. Prehistoric relics in this region are important because of the unique cultural values that are part of the principles of local tourism development in Indonesia. The potential of historical and cultural tourism is also inseparable from the participation of the local community. Therefore, knowledge about the cultural values of an area needs to be effectively disseminated through information media. This study aims to help preserve prehistoric relics through photography as a medium of visual communication. The combination method is used to analyze the attractiveness of the Gunung Padang Site as a potential tourist destination. Quantitatively, survey data show that 61 percent of people are interested in visiting the Gunung Padang Site because they want to know the background of prehistoric stones and take pictures with the natural scenery. Whereas qualitatively, the attraction of visual objects is described using a visual anthropology approach which is studying a culture through photography and the relationships associated with it. This study uses the principle of composition of the rule of thirds to present prehistoric stones on the Gunung Padang Site as images that carries a cultural message. The results of the analysis show that the photographic works that are focused on visualizing five stone structures as gates or entrances, streets and stairs, walls, spaces, and wells as a source of life can convey messages about the work of humans in building a place of worship to ancestral spirits as a civilization in the past. This study can be a reference in the field of visual communication design science about the Gunung Padang Site and is expected to help encourage public awareness to respect cultural heritage, as well as develop the tourism potential of the region.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and motivation on the interest in entrepreneurship. This study is a survey research with populations around Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique of 85 people. The instrument used is the questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple regression. From the processing of data obtained results: 1). There is a significant effect of work environment and motivation together towards entrepreneurship interest as evidenced by Fh = 6.047 and Sig. = 0.004 <0.05 2). There is no significant effect of the work environment on the interest in entrepreneurship as evidenced by Th = -1.128 and Sig. = 0.263> 0.05 3). There was a significant effect of motivation on the interest in entrepreneurship as evidenced by Th = -3,047 and Sig = 0,003 <0,05.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline on the performance of the employees of the Office of Communication and Information in Purwakrta Regency. Field method with regression statistical analysis approach. By using the method and these variables are expected to solve problems that occur in employees in the Office of Communication and Information Purwakarta Regency. The respondents in this study were 50 employees. The results of the analysis show that work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance in the moderate influence category. This can be seen from the statistical results of the correlation test and hypothesis testing of the two variables using the multiple linear F tests and the T-test, while the statistical test for the Work Discipline variable is positively and significantly affected by employee performance. Thus, these empirical findings indicate that to improve employee performance it is necessary to improve service quality and improve discipline levels ]]>

<![CDATA[Situs Megalitikum Gunung Padang terletak di Desa Karyamukti, Kabupaten Cianjur. Situs yang berasal dari zaman prasejarah ini memiliki banyak serakan batu berpola dan tersusun dalam lima teras berundak. Situs ini bernilai penting sebagai warisan sejarah dan budaya bangsa Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk ikut berpastisipasi mengabadikan benda-benda peninggalan prassejarah tersebut dalam karya seni fotografi bergenre “story”. Genre fotografi story adalah genre yang memfokuskan pada visualisasi sisi humanis untuk menghadirkan interaksi manusia dengan lingkungan alam sekitarnya. Dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi, studi ini menggunakan pendekatan semiotika komunikasi visual yang menekankan pada pembacaan dan pemahaman terhadap tanda-tanda visual di dalam teknik fotografi, khususnya pada unsur fokus dan ruang tajam di dalam teknik pengambilan gambar. Hasil survey secara kuantitatif dalam studi ini menunjukkan masih rendahnya pandangan tentang daya tarik kehidupan manusia di area situs prasejarah yang dapat dijadikan objek fotografi. Sedangkan analisis hasil data secara kualitatif dari karya foto dalam studi ini mampu merepresentasikan adanya interaksi manusia dengan alam dan lingkungannya, sehingga membangun persepsi visual tentang manusia sebagai makhluk sosial budaya. Keberadaan situs prasejarah dalam karya fotografi ini juga menghasilkan visualisasi perilaku menusia yang mencoba merasakan kedekatannya dengan peradaban di masa lalu. Studi tentang genre fotografi story dalam latar prasejarah ini menunjukkan bahwa karya fotografi dapat membawa pesan budaya. Penelitian ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai referensi dalam memenuhi tuntutan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin kompetitif di bidang fotografi maupun desain komunikasi visual. The Gunung Padang Megalithic Site is located in Karyamukti Village, Cianjur Regency. Patterned stones arranged on five terraces have been discovered at the site, dating back to prehistoric times. This site is a valuable historical and cultural heritage of the Indonesian people. This study aims to participate in preserving historical relics through “story” genre photography. Story photography genre focuses on visualizing the humanistic side to present human interaction with surrounding natural environment. Through combination method, this study uses semiotic approach to visual communication that emphasizes reading and understanding of visual signs in photographic techniques, especially on the elements of focus and depth of field in photography techniques. Quantitative survey result in this study shows a shallow understanding of the appeal of human life in prehistoric sites as photographic objects. Meanwhile, the qualitative analysis of the data from the photographs in this study can represent the existence of human interaction with nature and the environment, thus building a visual perception of humans as social and cultural beings. The existence of prehistoric sites in this photographic work also results in visualization of human behavior that attempts to feel its closeness to ancient civilization. The study of the story genre photography in prehistoric setting shows that photography can carry cultural messages. This research can also be used as a reference in meeting the demands of increasingly competitive technological developments in the field of photography and visual communication design.]]>

<![CDATA[Pertumbuhan dan perubahan tingkatan sosial berdampak pada budaya tradisional diawali sebuah etnis perlahan-lahan mulai luntur dan panah di dalam masyarakat. Pemahaman itu sangat memungkinkan munculnya budaya baru yang mendunia, sehingga budaya dijelaskan sebagai sebuah tren di dalam sebuah wilayah yang kemudian diperkenalkan dan diterima hingga tingkat dunia. Pada akhirnya, tanpa disadari, budaya lokal menjadi bagian utama dari budaya nasional dan budaya daerah yang memiliki nilai, sehingga harus dipelihara, dijaga, dan dikembagkan secara terus menerus seperti kesenian kampung Legok Bekasi, yaitu Kesenian Ngarak Barong. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian etnografi diharapkan dapat mencapai tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendefinisikan desain serta manfaat pagelaran budaya Barong pada ritual satu tahunan sekali pada saat merayakan Idul Fitri di Kampung Legok Bekasi. Oleh karenanya, dengan dilakukannya wawancara mendalam serta mengikuti rangkaian pagelaran budaya Barong di Kampung Legok Bekasi dapat mengimplementasikan budaya yang berfungsi untuk mengendalikan, menunjukan, dan memberikan arah kepada tindakan tindak tanduk perbuatan manusia di dalam masyarakat sebagai kesopanan. Pada akhirnya, perubahan budaya lokal yang dasari perkembangan global dari semua sektor kehidupan bisa menjadi bukti adanya legitimasi masyarakat atau penduduk asli terhadap budaya Indonesia, sehingga timbul usaha untuk melestarikan budaya tersebut, khususnya Kesenian Ngarak Barong. ]]>
