Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan komoditas pertanian hortikultura yang dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan rumah tangga sehari-hari. Kebutuhan bawang merah yang tinggi merupakan prospek untuk pengembangan usahatani bawang merah. Namun harga bawang merah yang fluktuatif akan mempengaruhi pendapatan yang diperoleh oleh petani. Pendapatan adalah bagian penting dalam kegiatan usahatani yang menunjukkan apakah usahatani yang dilakukan petani memberikan manfaat lebih atau tidak kepada petani. Komoditas pertanian baru di suatu wilayah akan mampu berkembang apabila dapat memberikan insentif kepada petani. Pemerintah Kabupaten Lampung Utara berupaya mengembangkan tanaman bawang merah dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan lokal bawang merah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeatahui tingkat pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Abung Selatan dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Abung Selatan. Rata-rata pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Abung Selatan, Kabupaten Lampung Utara atas biaya sebesar Rp 5.439.354,17 per usahatani, dan rata-rata pendapatan atas biaya total sebesar Rp 2.165.931,55 per usahatani. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Abung Selatan berpeluang meningkatkan pendapatan petani.Nilai R/C rasio usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Abung Selatan, Kabupaten Lampung Utara adalah 2,36 (atas biaya tunai) dan 1,30 (atas biaya total). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan usahatani bawang merah layak untuk diusahakan.

Abstract

West Lampung Regency has 31,120 hectares of land used for lowland rice cultivation, according to 2023 data from the local Agriculture Office. Over the past three years, rice productivity in this region has been unstable. However, in 2024, the figure dropped significantly to 47.03 tons per hectare (BPS Lampung Province). This study was conducted in Suoh District, West Lampung Regency, from January to February 2025. The research focuses on income calculation, business feasibility, and analysis of the R/C ratio (Return and Cost Ratio). The research location was limited to Pekon Tuguratu, with a sample of 84 farmers. Data collection methods included field surveys and in-depth interviews, whiledata analysis used quantitative descriptive methods. The findings show that the average income from rice farming in Suoh District was Rp 2,182,001.06, with an average total production cost of Rp 8,865,300.52 and an average land area of 1.44 hectares. The R/C ratio was 1.37, meaning that for every Rp 1 spent on production costs, farmers earned Rp 1.37, indicating efficient and feasible rice farming operations. Meanwhile, the B/C ratio was 1.25, confirming that the farming business was profitable.

Abstract

study aims to to determine consumer satisfaction and analyze factors related to consumer satisfaction with Bintang Jaya Brand Ground Coffee in North Lampung Regency. Coffee is one of the leading commodities in this area, and Bintang Jaya Brand Ground Coffee faces tight competition in the local market due to price differences with competitors. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach using a survey method of 100 respondents selected by accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman's Rank correlation with a 5% confidence level through SPSS version 26. Consumers are satisfied with Cap Bintang Jaya Ground Coffee. This satisfaction is shown by a positive perception of coffee quality. In addition, consumers are also satisfied with the simple design of the coffee packaging. Consumers are satisfied with the price set, because consumers already know about the quality provided by Cap Bintang Jaya Ground Coffee. Consumers are satisfied with the experience gained when buying and consuming Cap Bintang Jaya Ground Coffee. And Cap Bintang Jaya Ground Coffee is easy to find on the market, this also affects farmer satisfaction. 2. Based on the results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis, it can be seen that the factors that are positively correlated with consumer satisfaction are product quality and place/location.

Abstract

Usahatani singkong memiliki angka produktivitas tinggi.serta tahan serangan penyakit (Purnomo, D., & Kusuma, M. P, 2022). Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2020 menerangkan produksi singkong di Provinsi Lampung menempati urutan pertama provinsi dengan tingkat produksi tertinggi di Indonesia. Produksi singkong Provinsi Lampung mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2016 sampai 2019, tetapi tahun 2020 produksi singkong di Provinsi Lampung mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah produksi sebesar 6.649.709 ton. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Bandar Putih. Penelitian dilakukan dibulan Januari sampai Maret tahun 2024. Petani yang menjadi responden berjumlah 62 petani. Usahatani singkong dengan luas lahan per ha memperoleh peneriman sebesar Rp 36.732.910, sedangkan untuk total biaya tunai untuk luas lahan per ha adalah Rp 354.483 dan total biaya yang diperhitungkan adalah Rp.11.963.138, sehingga total biaya usahatani singkong dengan luas lahan 1 ha adalah Rp. 12.317.620. Pendapatan usahatani singkong yang diperoleh petani sebesar Rp.24.415.289, untuk R/C ratio sebesar 3.07 yang memiliki arti usahatani singkong sudah dijalankan secara efisien dan B/C ratio sebesar 1,98 yang memiliki arti usahatani singkong memberikan keuntungan kepada petani. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani singkong meliputi luas lahan dan jumlah tenaga kerja, sedangkan untuk penggunaan pupuk, pestisida serta bibit tidak berpengaruh nyata pada pendapatan usahatani singkong

Abstract

Rice farming has received significant attention from the government, which aims to increase production. Problems that often occur in agriculture, especially rice farming, are unstable production and price uncertainty during the harvest season. Efforts have been made to minimize negative impacts economically and environmentally. One of the efforts made is by using MSP (Let's Prosper Farmers) rice varieties that have been certified as superior varieties. Economic perspectives and environmental awareness are important parts of agricultural sustainability. Sustainable agriculture, in addition to being profit-oriented, must also maintain the condition of the surrounding environment. North Kotabumi District is an area that has used the MSP rice variety. This study is expected to provide input and contribution to formulating appropriate strategies and policies to create a sustainable rice farming system, which is not only economically profitable but also environmentally friendly. The study was conducted in Talang Jali, Madukoro, and Wonomarto Villages in North Kotabumi District, North Lampung Regency. A total of 32 farmers became research respondents. The data collection technique used an interview technique using a Likert scale. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive. As many as 53.12% of farmers have a moderate category towards economic views in the use of MSP rice varieties. Farmers' environmental awareness is included in the high category with 59.37% of farmers having a positive perception of the environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Kabupaten Lampung Utara memiliki produksi singkong yang melimpah, mencapai 1.165.966 ton pada tahun 2022, namun potensi ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal melalui pengolahan pascapanen. Hal ini mengakibatkan nilai tambah komoditas unggulan tersebut belum maksimal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah singkong dengan mengolahnya menjadi tepung Modified Cassava Flour (Mocaf) serta menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan di kalangan siswa dan guru SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Kotanegara. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan tiga metode utama, yaitu Forum Diskusi Kelompok (FGD) antara tim pengabdian dan dewan guru, pelatihan praktik pembuatan mocaf secara langsung, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan dalam proses pemasaran produk. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Kotanegara. Peserta yang terlibat meliputi para guru dan siswa dari sekolah tersebut. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dan siswa Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan bahwa adanya perubahan pada 6 aspek pengetahuan dengan aspek pengetahuan tertinggi yang diperoleh pemahaman proses teknis, pemahaman prinsip fermentasi  dan pemahaman aspek kewirausahaan. Terbentuknya unit usaha sekolah berbasis mocaf menjadi output nyata, diiringi peningkatan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa melalui praktik langsung. Program ini juga mendorong pemanfaatan produktif lahan sekolah yang ditanami singkong. Dampak jangka panjang yang diharapkan adalah kemandirian ekonomi sekolah, penguatan pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan pemberdayaan sumber daya lokal.Kata kunci: Tepung Mocaf; Kewirausahaan; Nilai tambah; SMA Muhammadiyah Kotanegara; Singkong. ABSTRACTNorth Lampung Regency has an abundant cassava production, reaching 1,165,966 tons in 2022. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized through post-harvest processing, resulting in less than maximum added value for this leading commodity.This community service program aimed to increase the added value of cassava by processing it into Modified Cassava Flour (Mocaf) and to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students and teachers of Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Kotanegara High School. The program was implemented using three main methods: a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between the service team and the teachers, hands-on training in Mocaf production, and continuous mentoring in the product marketing process. The target partners for this activity were the teachers and students of MBS Kotanegara High School. The program successfully enhanced the knowledge of both teachers and students. Evaluation results indicated significant improvement across six aspects of knowledge, with the highest gains observed in understanding the technical process, the principles of fermentation, and entrepreneurial aspects. A tangible outcome was the establishment of a school-based Mocaf business unit, accompanied by an increase in students' entrepreneurial skills through direct practice. The program also encouraged the productive use of school land planted with cassava. The expected long-term impacts include school economic self-sufficiency, strengthened entrepreneurship education, and the empowerment of local resources.Keywords: Modified Cassava Flour (Mocaf); Entrepreneurship; Value-added products; Muhammadiyah Boarding School; Cassava.

Abstract

Petani sayur di Desa Abung Jayo menyadari bahwa lahan yang digunakan untuk berusahatani sayuran telah mengalami kerusakan.  Penggunaan input berbahan kimia dalam jangka panjang menjadi salah satu penyebab menurunnya kualitas lahan.  Penggunaan pupuk organik merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan petani untuk mengatasi kerusakan lahan.  Salah satu jenis pupuk organik adalah pupuk organik cair (POC).  Pupuk organik acair dapat dihasilkan dari limbah hewan ternak yaitu urin. Urin mengandung unsur yang dibutuhkan tanaman yaitu Nitrogen (N), Phospor (P), dan Kalium (K). Urin kelinci memiliki kandungan unsur N, P, dan K yang lebih baik dibandingkan hewan ternak lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan kepada petani sayur di Desa Abung Jayo agar dapat memproduksi sendiri POC dan memanfaatkan limbah dari hewan ternak yaitu kelinci.  Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR).  Peserta membantu menyiapkan bahan, dan mempraktekkan langsung cara membuat POC dengan bimbingan pengabdi.  Peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini dan tertarik untuk mengaplikasikan POC pada tanaman sayuran yang ditanamnya, karena dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan efektivitas POC berbahan dasar urin kelinci.

Abstract

Shallots are a newly grown commodity by farmers in North Lampung Regency, necessitating a study on the Shallot Farming Development Strategy in this region. This research seeks to identify the internal and external elements affecting the advancement of shallot cultivation in North Lampung Regency and to devise a strategy for its development. The respondents were determined using a census, comprising 24 farms. This research employs a survey methodology, utilising analytical tools such as IFAS, EFAS, and SWOT. This research identifies internal characteristics, with strengths including (1) the preservation of shallot harvests; (2) the land's proximity to the residence; (3) the applicability of an intercropping system; and (4) the potential for seed recultivation. The deficiencies are (1) the absence of granary or warehouse facilities for the storage of harvested crops; (2) the necessity for appropriate water and fertiliser. Identify external factors: the opportunity presented by (1) the limited production of shallots in North Lampung Regency; (2) governmental support for facilities and infrastructure; and (3) the active involvement of agricultural extension workers in promoting shallot growing. The challenges include (1) pest and disease infestations affecting shallot plants and (2) the presence of comparable items from external regions. The strategy for advancing shallot cultivation in Abung Jayo Village employs the SO strategy, which includes: (1) optimising land utilisation by acquiring information on shallot cultivation techniques from extension agents, (2) preserving harvests through the diversification of processed shallot products, and (3) enhancing communication among farmers, government, and traders to establish a local shallot market.
