Abstract

The disruptive era is demanding strategic leadership which able to answer the needs of the church grows in the future. Leadership in Pentecostal churches that tend to prepare their family in succession has no guarantee of the needs and success of the next leader in the disruptive era. This research is proposed to examine the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches. This research is using a quantitative approach with a survey method. The result showing that to have a succession planning in prepare new leaders for the church is the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches in a disruptive era. To prepare a new leader through the right and contextual leadership succession is the key to future leadership success. Abstrak Di era disruptif menuntut kepemimpinan yang strategis dan mampu menjawab kebutuhan untuk perkembangan gereja di masa yang akan datang. Kepemimpinan pada gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta yang cenderung mempersiapkan anggota keluarga dalam regenerasi tidak memberikan jaminan sepenuhnya dapat menjawab kebutuhan dan bagi kesuksesan kepemimpinan selanjutnya pada era disruptif. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memiliki perencanaan dalam menyiapkan pemimpin baru bagi gereja menjadi faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan di era disruptif gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Mempersiapkan pemimpin baru melalui perencanaan yang baik dan yang tepat serta kontekstual menjadi kunci sukses kepemimpinan pada masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Happiness is hope for all human beings. Happiness is not just affected by income or economic factors, but also by social dimensions related to the relationship built with others. Through the implementation of Kingdom of God ethical principles based on Matthew 5:3-9 make one’s interpersonal relationship to be good and impact the happiness realization. This research used a mixed method design, namely exploratory sequential design, examining Matthew 5:3-9 by qualitative approach with exegeses, followed by a quantitative approach to find the causal relationship between variables. The result showed that: there is a significant influence on the implementation of the ethical principles based on Matthew 5:3-9 on the interpersonal relationship; there is a significant influence on the implementation of the ethical principles based on Matthew 5:3-9 to the happiness; and, there is no significant influence on the interpersonal relationship to the happiness. Implementing the Kingdom of God ethical principles by being poor before God or living in submission and relying on God, expressing meek attitudes, showing generosity, and being able to bring peace will improve the personal relationship to be good and happiness realization.  AbstrakKebahagiaan menjadi harapan bagi semua manusia. Kebahagiaan tidak hanya dipengaruhi faktor pendapatan atau ekonomi, melainkan dimensi sosial terkait dengan relasi yang terbangun dengan orang lain. Melalui pengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip etika Kerajaan Allah berdasarkan Matius 5:3-9 membuat relasi interpersonal seseorang menjadi baik dan berdampak pada terwujudnya kebahagiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perwujudan kebahagiaan melalui implementasi prinsip-prinsip etika Kerajaan Allah dalam relasi interpersonal berdasarkan Matius 5:3-9. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mixed methods ini yang dinamakan exploratory sequential design, dengan mengkaji Matius 5:3-9 melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan eksegese, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui hubungan kausal antar variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:  terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan implementasi prinsip-prinsip etika Kerajaa Allah berdasarkan Matius 5:3-9 terhadap relasi interpersonal; terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan implementasi prinsip-prinsip etika Kerajaa Allah berdasarkan Matius 5:3-9 terhadap kebahagiaan; dan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan relasi interpersonal terhadap kebahagiaan. Mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip etika Kerajaan Allah dengan menjadi miskin di hadapan Allah atau hidup berserah dan mengandalakan Tuhan, menampilkan sikap lemah lembut, menampilkan kemurahan hati dan mampu menjadi pembawa damai akan meningkatkan relasi interpersonal menjadi baik dan terwujudnya kebahagiaan.

Abstract

Teaching competence and theoretical satisfaction are factors that influence job performance. Through this research, the author tests, proves and analyzes and makes a causal relationship model the effect of competence and teaching satisfaction on the work performance of Christian Religious Education teachers. The population in this study were Christian Religious Education Teachers in Kutai Kartanegara District, East Kalimantan. The method in this study is Survey - Causal with data analysis techniques using path analysis. The results of data analysis show that: 1) There is positive and significant direct effect between teaching competencies on teaching achievement of Christian Religious Education teachers, 2) There is a positive and significant direct effect of teaching satisfaction on teaching achievement of Christian Religious Education teachers. Increasing teacher competence will have an impact on professionalism in carrying out teaching assignments and have an impact on work performance. Accompanied by high satisfaction makes the teacher responsible for his work and implement it oriented to achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to test and prove through data collection that the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents is influenced by the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns. The research method used in this research was the survey method - correlational. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that: 1) Christian religious education in the family had a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents; 2) Parenting patterns have a significant effect on the formation of Christ's character in adolescents; 3) Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns together have a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ. Thus, efforts to form the character of Christ in adolescents can be done by increasing the intensity of the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and increasing the right parenting pattern.

Abstract

Leadership is an important aspect to influence a person's behavior specifically in the relationship between leaders and followers. The servant leadership of the pastor which is implied as the leader of the people through guidance, guidance and encouragement has an effect on increasing the spirituality of the people. This research aimed to examine the implications of servant leadership in pastoring the church on increasing the spirituality of the people. This research used a quantitative approach with a causal correlation method. The research was conducted at the Christian Church of Sangkakala Indonesia (GKSI) Bethlehem Satellite in Tangerang, Depok and Jakarta with a total sample of 200. The results showed that the application of servant leadership in pastoral care in the church had a significant impact on increasing the spirituality of the people. Applying servant leadership that originates from and imitates Jesus Christ in the Christian faith has an impact on improving the spiritual life of the people for the better. Through the servant leadership, the pastor can build good relationships, prioritizing service to the people rather than his own interests, so that he can drive and encourage people to implement the values of the Christian faith in the lives of the people. Kepemimpinan sebagai aspek penting yang mempengaruhi perilaku seseorang secara khusus dalam relasi antara pemimpin dengan orang yang dipimpin. Kepemimpinan melayani yang diimplikasikan gembala sebagai pimpinan umat melalui bimbingan, tuntunan dan dorongan yang diberikan, berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan spiritualitas umat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implikasi kepemimpinan melayani dalam penggembalaan gereja terhadap peningkatan spiritualitas umat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional kausal. Penelitian dilakukan di gereja Kristen Sangkakala Indonesia (GKSI) Satelit Betlehem yang ada di Tangerang, Depok dan Jakarta dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 200 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kepemimpinan melayani dalam pelayanan gembala di gereja berdampak pada peningkatan spiritualitas umat yang signifikan. Menerapkan kepemimpinan melayani yang bersumber dan meneladi Yesus Kristus dalam iman Kristen berdampak pada meningkatkan kehidupan spiritualitas umat menjadi lebih baik. Melalui kepeimpinan melayani gembala dapat membangun hubungan yang baik, mengutamakan melayani umat dari pada kepentinganyan dirinya, sehingga mampu menggerakkan dan mendorong umat untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai iman Kristen dalam kehidupan umat.

Abstract

Adolescent and youth as the next generation have important roles for the church. Their enthusiasm and creativity are very needed in participating for the church ministry and development. Adolescent and youth spirituality building through worship is being very fundamental so that they may involve in developing the church. Nevertheless, it cannot be dennied that adolescent and youth assume that activities outside the church is more interesting than worship, coachings through the worship is considered not suitable so that impact to their spiritual life. This study aimed to know pastor’s role as an effort of Christian Education to the adolescent and youth spirituality enhancement. This research was using survey method with causal on the analysis. The result showed that pastor has a significant role in Christian Education to the adolescent and youth spiritual improvement. Coaching conducted by the pastor through Christian Education teaching in worship or fellowship as well as joint activities will impact on adolescent and youth spiritual improvement to be more growing in Christ.
