Abstract

Nubuatan nabi Yesaya bagi Raja Ahas dalam Yesaya 7:10-25 perihal Imanuel menjadi polemik bagi kebanyakkan gereja pada kekristenan masa kini. Perdebatan tentang siapakah Imanuel yang sebenarnya, masih mengawang di hadapan beberapa teolog. Namun, tanpa disadari Raja Ahas menjadi tokoh utama yang menciptakan atau memicu terwahyukannya nubuat tentang Imanuel tersebut. Nubuatan Yesaya kerap langsung atau spontan dihubungkan dengan penggenapan di Perjanjian Baru. Namun, dalam artikel ini, penulis mencoba mengulik kembali kisah raja Ahas dalam eksposisi ayat yang direinterpretasikan. Analisis dilakukan dengan tinjauan historis, konteks dan gramatika. Hasil dari penelitian ini omemperlihatkan bahwa raja Ahas mendapat serangan balik, ibarat “senjata makan tuan” dalam kemunafikan terselubung yang ada pada diri Ahas.

Abstract

Radicalism is an ideology that causes an individual to have an extreme mindset in claiming the single truth of the religion he adheres to and using violence to spread it. This makes radicalism a significant threat, especially for Generation Z, because it can form highly radical groups that threaten the peace of society and bring division in a pluralistic society so the author, who works as a PAK teacher, is trying to prevent this radicalism from spreading to generation Z, predominantly Christian students. So, the author began to instill an attitude of inclusivism in PAK learning to prevent the entry of radicalism in the current generation Z. So this research aims to analyze the extent to which instilling an attitude of inclusivism can be used to prevent radicalism from entering Generation Z. So the author uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with a literature study method to analyze the extent to which instilling an attitude of inclusivism can be applied to PAK learning to prevent radicalism in generation Z. The results of this study show that it is important to instill an attitude of inclusivism in Generation Z through one, Teaching students always to love everyone and two, Teaching students an attitude of tolerance. Thus, an inclusive attitude helps students appreciate and respect each religious teaching in a pluralistic society. Abstrak Radikalisme merupakan paham yang membuat seorang individu memiliki pola pikir ekstrim dalam mengklaim kebenaran tunggal agama yang dianutnya dan dalam penyebarannya menggunakan kekerasan. Hal ini membuat radikalisme menjadi ancaman besar khususnya bagi generasi Z karena dapat membentuk kelompok radikal ekstrim yang mengancam kedamaian masyarakat serta membawa perpecahan dalam masyarakat majemuk maka penulis yang berprofesi sebagai guru PAK mengupayakan pencegahan paham radikalisme ini agar tidak menyebar pada generasi Z terkhusus siswa Kristen. Maka penulis mulai menanamkan sikap inklusivisme pada pembelajaran PAK untuk mencegah masuknya paham radikalisme di dalam diri generasi Z sekarang. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penanaman sikap inklusivisme dapat digunakan dalam mencegah radikalisme masuk pada diri generasi Z. Maka penulis menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penerapan penanaman sikap inklusivisme ini dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran PAK untuk mencegah radikalisme pada generasi Z. Adapun hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya menanamkan sikap inklusivisme pada generasi Z melalui: Satu, Mengajarkan peserta didik untuk selalu mengasihi semua orang, dan dua, mengajarkan peserta didik sikap toleransi. Dengan demikian sikap inklusivisme bermanfaat untuk membantu peserta didik dalam menghargai dan menghormati setiap ajaran agama yang berbeda di tengah masyarakat majemuk.

Abstract

The world of education today, especially at the elementary school level, has a number of hot issues that need attention, related to difficulties in remembering the material that has been learned. It is likely that this issue is caused by a lack of variety in learning, lack of individualised support from educators, learning methods that are not in accordance with the interests of learners, material overload (too much material in 1 learning session), lack of learner involvement, lack of connection and context, and lack of facilities in learning. Teachers are agents of change who have a very important role in shaping and developing the potential of students including in improving students' memory. The purpose of this study is to make a significant contribution in the context of developing effective learning strategies at the primary school level. The practical implications of the findings indicate the importance of the integration of mnemonic methods in the curriculum to support the achievement of learning objectives and improve learners' memory.

Abstract

This study aimed to test and prove through data collection that the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents is influenced by the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns. The research method used in this research was the survey method - correlational. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that: 1) Christian religious education in the family had a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents; 2) Parenting patterns have a significant effect on the formation of Christ's character in adolescents; 3) Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns together have a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ. Thus, efforts to form the character of Christ in adolescents can be done by increasing the intensity of the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and increasing the right parenting pattern.

Abstract

The Book of Proverbs is a book of wisdom in the Old Testament which is quite complex in its poetic language. Readers of Proverbs often offend the empty space in the soul and spirituality of Christian readers. Proverbs 3:5-10 forbids fear and obedience to God in His majesty. The reality is that people still respond to obedience to God with anxiety. In human anxiety sometimes, do not even realize they are hurting themselves, thus causing anxiety disorders. Therefore, humans must firmly rely on God in their journey of life. This paper is reviewed with an analysis of context and grammar in the integration of theology and psychology. Therefore, the writer will expose Proverbs 3:5-10 into 3 parts, namely verses 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10. The exposition aims to describe the new meaning of the text that is formed in the re-reading of Proverbs 3:5-10 which is related to one's psychological anxiety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menafsir ulang makna iman anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui sudut pandang teologi disabilitas dalam konteks budaya serta pelayanan gerejawi di Indonesia. Anak berkebutuhan khusus, seperti autisme, sindrom down, hiperaktif, cerebral palsy, dan hambatan intelektual lainnya, acapkali dilihat dari sudut pandang medis atau psikologis saja. Sedangkan melalui sudut pandang spiritual mereka seringkali diabaikan atau dianggap tidak penting. Umumnya dalam banyak gereja, konsep iman masih sangat idealis, bergantung pada kapasitas intelektual dan kemampuan lisan. Hal ini mengakibatkan anak berkebutuhan khusus acapkali tidak bisa mengekspresikan iman yang "benar" sehingga seringkali dianggap kurang memiliki iman. Studi ini memakai metode penelitian literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai macam teori dan pendekatan dalam teologi disabilitas modern, seperti yang dikembangkan oleh tokoh seperti Amos Yong, John Swinton, maupun Thomas Reynolds. Studi ini juga mengaitkannya dalam konteks sosial-budaya dan konteks gerejawi di Indonesia. Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki kapasitas spiritual yang asli, meskipun melalui cara pemahaman dan mengekspresikan iman yang berbeda dari anak reguler. Mereka dapat juga berperan aktif dalam lingkup liturgi dan aktivitas gerejawi. Dalam wilayah negara Indonesia, norma atau etika lokal seperti gotong royong, empati kolektif, serta penghargaan terhadap perbedaan dapat menjadi landasan berpikir teologis untuk membangun gereja yang lebih ramah anak berkebutuhan khusus. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini mengundang gereja serta komunitas Kristen di Indonesia untuk memandang anak berkebutuhan khusus bukan hanya sebagai pihak yang menjadi sasaran pelayanan saja, namun juga sebagai subjek yang memiliki iman yang utuh, yang berharga, yang memiliki kontribusi spiritual yang dapat ikut serta membangun tubuh Kristus dalam kebhinekaan.

Abstract

Believers as servants of God have a responsibility to properly instill the teachings of Scripture as a filter of the teachings that develop around them. Being a true and exemplary servant of Christ is the advocate of every believer. The ability to carry out the responsibilities of God's servants became a necessity for Christian teachers. This study aims to examine the implementation of the responsibility of Christian teachers as ministers of God based on 1 Timothy 4:1-16. The research was conducted quantitatively using explanatory-affirmative analysis on Christian teachers in Tangerang. The results showed: 1. The degree of implementation of responsibility in the moderate category, 2. The most dominant dimension in the implementation of responsibility is to be exemplary, 3. The length of the teacher's teaching period affects the level of implementation of responsibilities. From the results of this study, Christian teachers in Tangerang need to improve the implementation of the responsibility of God's servants and develop quality so that they can be exemplary and increase activities that develop teaching skills.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an attitude and way of thinking that upholds the values of justice, balance, straightness, tolerance, priority, civility, and creativity in understanding and practicing religious teachings. Religious moderation is considered important and is one of the values that must be instilled in all students in Indonesia, including those at the Jakarta School of Ecumenical Theology. Students are seen as crucial in learning the value of religious moderation, especially in light of recent issues arising from political conflicts between Israel and Palestine, which are often linked to religion. This has become a sensitive issue that may fuel conflicts among religious communities, emphasizing the need for the frequent incorporation of moderation education. The purpose of this research is to understand the implementation of Christian Religious Education strategies in instilling a stance of religious moderation at the Jakarta School of Ecumenical Theology. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing observation and interview techniques. The Jakarta School of Ecumenical Theology has already instilled the values of religious moderation in lectures conducted during a single session. This serves as a specific strategy within Christian Religious Education to instill the values of religious moderation, aiming to create a harmonious and peaceful environment.
