Abstract

XYZ application is a mobile-based academic information system owned by PTX. In building a good application, one component that needs to be considered is usability. XYZ application itself has never been measured for usability and has several interface designs that are difficult to use. Therefore, improvements were made to the user interface by referring to the three components of usability according to ISO 9241: 11, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. These three components were measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and usability testing. The improvements increased in the usability value. This increment shows that the proposed design is easier to use than the initial design. Aplikasi XYZ merupakan sistem informasi akademik berbasis mobile yang dimiliki PTX. Dalam membangun sebuah aplikasi yang baik, salah satu komponen yang perlu diperhatikan adalah usability. Aplikasi XYZ sendiri belum pernah diukur tingkat usability-nya dan memiliki beberapa desain interface yang sulit digunakan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perbaikan pada user interface dengan mengacu pada tiga komponen usability menurut ISO 9241:11 yaitu effectiveness, efficiency, dan satisfaction. Ketiga komponen tersebut diukur dengan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire dan usability testing. Perbaikan yang dilakukan menghasilkan peningkatan nilai usability. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa desain usulan lebih mudah digunakan dibanding desain awal.

Abstract

CV XYZ is a company engaged in retail clothing and accessories for Muslim women's clothing located in Bandung. The products sold consist of 5 types of categories. Sales business processes that occur in the company generate sales transaction data. CV XYZ expects that the transaction data can be processed and used to get information about customer segmentation using the proper method. This research developed a web-based system that can process and utilize transaction data using the clustering method. The selection of the algorithm and the number of clusters is obtained from the evaluation process using the standard deviation technique and the Davies Bouldin Index method. As a result, K-means is the most appropriate algorithm for CV XYZ's transaction data by dividing customers into 3 clusters.  CV XYZ adalah sebuah peusahaan yang bergerak di bidang retail pakaian dan aksesoris busana muslim wanita yang berlokasi di Bandung. Produk yang dijual terdiri dari 5 jenis kategori. Proses bisnis penjualan yang terjadi di perusahaan menghasilkan data transaksi penjualan. CV XYZ mengharapkan data transaksi yang dimiliki dapat diolah dan dimanfaatkan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai segmentasi pelanggan dengan menggunakan metode yang tepat. Melihat adanya peluang untuk memanfaatkan data transaksi tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah sistem berbasis web yang dapat mengolah dan memanfaatkan data transaksi dengan menggunakan metode clustering. Penentuan algoritme dan jumlah cluster diperoleh dari proses evaluasi yang menggunakan teknik simpangan baku dan metode Davies Bouldin Index. Hasilnya, K-means adalah algoritme yang paling tepat untuk diterapkan pada data transaksi CV XYZ dengan membagi pelanggan menjadi 3 cluster.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a shoe distributor company in the city of Bandung that gets 700 shoe orders per day from 7 online stores that are active in several marketplaces. In the sales process, PT XYZ has problems when providing stock information to customers. Every time a sales transaction occurs, the stock information displayed in each marketplace channel must be updated one by one. This will take a lot of time and will pose a risk of inconsistency of stock information. To overcome this, a web-based multichannel e-commerce integrated system is designed that can process product data on each channel in the marketplace and integrate stock information. Based on the User Acceptance Test (UAT) with the UTAUT method, the proposed system gets an average score for the Performance Expectancy aspect of 94.3%, the Effort Expectancy aspect of 98.6%, and the Behavioral Intention aspect of 88.6%. The results of this test indicate that the integrated system can provide convenience for users in carrying out their duties, provide comfort in using the system, and make users want to use the system that has been designed.

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 to almost all countries in the world affects various aspects of human life. Through Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period of the Spread of Covid-19, the government decided to change the implementation of offline learning to online learning. XYZ University in Bandung City already has a Quality Assurance Division that is tasked with evaluating the use of information technology (IT) for the offline learning process, but it also needs an IT utilization evaluation instrument related to all aspects of online learning. This research aims to create an online learning evaluation system based on international standards by considering the quality aspects of the educational system, support system, learner quality, instructor quality, and information quality. PSSUQ method is used for 4 assessment categories with a 7-point Likert scale assessment of the technology usability concept. Meanwhile, the Naive Bayes method is used to analyse the polarity of comments related to the effectiveness of IT utilization in the online learning process. The results obtained from research on students of the Department of Information Systems class of 2018 and 2019, obtained 18 subcategories successfully exceeded the target with a score of 5.18. The ease to learn and ease to use subcategories have the highest average score of 6.30, while the previous experience subcategory has the lowest average score of 5.18. For processing the polarity of comments regarding the ease to use subcategory, a positive sentiment of 90.3% was obtained, visualized using a word cloud. The results of this study show that out of 24 subcategories of assessment aspects, only 1 is still below the average target and the utilization of IT in the online learning process meets its utilization objectives. The resulting evaluation instrument can be utilized as part of a sustainable quality assurance process.

Abstract

XYZ merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang melaksanakan kewajibannya dalam tri dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Akan tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya untuk poin penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM), pihak Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) yang terlibat memiliki permasalahan. Masalah tersebut terdiri dari dokumentasi yang tidak lengkap atau tidak sesuai dengan standar dokumentasi LPPM XYZ, serta terdapat permasalahan dalam mengakses dokumentasi yang telah dihasilkan. Sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dirancang sebuah sistem informasi penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis web. Sistem ini dapat membantu dalam menyediakan standar dokumentasi penelitian dan juga fitur kolaborasi dengan pihak lain yang terkait dalam memberikan persetujuan sehingga memastikan dokumentasi yang dihasilkan akan sesuai dengan standar LPPM. Terdapat juga fitur indeks data penelitian dan PkM yang telah berjalan. Fitur tersebut dapat memudahkan pengguna dalam mencari data penelitian atau PkM berserta dengan detil dokumentasi yang terlibat dalam penelitian atau PkM tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian simulasi user acceptance testing didapatkan nilai rata-rata untuk aspek performance expectancy sebesar 91,77%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap pengguna merasa sistem dapat memudahkan kebutuhan mereka. Untuk aspek behavioral intention diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 93,25% yang menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pengguna memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk menggunakan sistem ini.

Abstract

This study addresses the inefficiencies in managing motor vehicle theft case data at the West Java Police Department by developing a web-based file management system. The current manual process, which relies on Microsoft Excel, is prone to human error, data duplication, and reporting delays. Our research introduces a system that automates data categorization, detects data similarities (such as duplicate chassis or engine numbers), and streamlines the verification and validation process, which was previously a time-consuming manual task. By employing object-oriented programming principles, the system accommodates diverse data types and dynamic reporting needs. The system's novelty lies in its specific focus on vehicle theft cases and the integration of a multi-level verification process. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using the UTAUT model showed high user acceptance, with a behavioral intention of 87.5%, performance expectancy of 84%, and effort expectancy of 82%. This new system significantly improves data accuracy, accelerates reporting, and enhances the overall efficiency of criminal case handling.

Abstract

The critical issue of stunting eradication necessitates innovative solutions for effective monitoring, intervention, and prevention. In this paper, we introduce an innovative integrated information system dashboard that leverages the power of data analytics and real-time data processing to provide comprehensive insights into stunting eradication efforts. This assists healthcare providers and policymakers in accessing actionable information crucial for making informed decisions. Our dashboard utilizes digitalization technology to analyze and visualize stunting data in almost real-time, operating nonstop 24/7. This platform enables users to engage in interactive and data-driven decision-making processes. The personalized and user-friendly interface allows for a tailored experience that meets the specific needs and preferences of different stakeholders. We used the Rapid Application Development method with an object-oriented approach to develop this dashboard. We demonstrate the proof of concept of this dashboard through a series of experiments and evaluations. Based on the results of the trial, the designed platform can be very useful for Zero New Stunting campaigns in Kecamatan Cikarang Timur.
