Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the intensity of use of Octo Mobile mobile banking by CIMB Niaga. This study identifies 8 variables, namely perceived useful-ness, perceived ease of use, interaction needs, perceived risk, perceived cost, trust, credi-bility and compatibility with lifestyle. Through hypothesis testing, this study confirmed the significant effect of these variables on the intensity of use of Octo Mobile. The results show that the most influential factor is compatibility with lifestyle and user needs. This indicates that users highly value the compatibility of mobile banking features with their daily banking activities and overall lifestyle. The next influential factor is the credibility of CIMB Niaga as a mobile banking service provider. Users perceive CIMB Niaga as a trustworthy institution, which ensures the security of personal information and transactions, thus increasing their confidence in using the service. The last influencing factor is perceived usefulness. Users feel that Octo Mobile by CIMB Niaga improves their job performance, makes banking tasks easier, and is overall useful. These findings suggest that to increase the intensity of Octo Mobile usage, CIMB Niaga needs to focus on improving the compatibility of the service with modern lifestyles, maintaining and enhancing credibility through strong security measures and transparent privacy policies, and continuing to innovate to add features that are useful and make users' banking activities easier. This strategic approach is expected to not only increase the intensity of usage but also directly proportional to the increase in bank revenue.

Abstract

This study examines the development of hiking sport tourism in high-risk environments by analyzing the interaction between marketability, sustainability, participation, and disaster mitigation within a single analytical framework. Mount Papandayan in Garut Regency was selected as a case study due to its characteristics as an active volcanic destination with high visitor demand and inherent environmental risks. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving key stakeholders, including destination managers, government representatives, local communities, and tourists. The findings indicate that while Mount Papandayan demonstrates strong marketability supported by its natural attractions and accessibility, its development is constrained by fragmented governance across key dimensions. Sustainability practices remain largely operational without formalized regulatory mechanisms; community participation is evident but primarily limited to operational roles; and disaster mitigation tends to emphasize reactive response rather than proactive preparedness. These results highlight a structural misalignment between tourism development and governance systems, suggesting that natural attractiveness alone is insufficient to ensure destination competitiveness in high-risk environments. This study contributes by applying the MSPDM framework as an integrative approach to reveal governance gaps and provide context-specific insights, without aiming for broad generalization.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low shooting accuracy of futsal players, which is generally caused by suboptimal mastery of basic techniques, poor movement coordination, and the lack of structured and sustainable training programs. In futsal, shooting accuracy is a crucial indicator that directly influences the success of scoring goals. Therefore, a systematic training method is needed to improve this ability. This study aims to determine the effect of structured training on improving shooting accuracy among UPI Sumedang futsal UKM players. The method used was a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest experimental design. The sample consisted of 15 players who actively participated in futsal UKM activities. Data were collected through shooting accuracy tests conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of a structured training program. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests to determine the differences in results before and after treatment. The results showed a significant improvement in shooting accuracy after the implementation of structured training. This improvement was indicated by the difference in the average scores between pretest and posttest, supported by statistical test results showing a significant effect. These findings indicate that systematic, targeted, and repetitive training effectively improves basic shooting techniques. Furthermore, the improvement was influenced by a combination of technical training, target-based methods, drill exercises, and physical components such as leg muscle explosiveness and eye-leg coordination.

Abstract

Background: Progress in digital technology has prompted commercial banks to undergo digital transformation to improve operational efficiency and consolidate risk management measures. The empirical relationship between bank risk-taking and digital transformation is however inconclusive and subject to contingencies. Purpose: The study aims to examine the effect of digital transformation on credit risk (Non-Performing Loan/NPL), insolvency risk (Z-score), and liquidity risk (Loan-to-Deposit Ratio/LDR) at Indonesian commercial banks during the period from 2014 to 2024. Design/methodology/approach: This study employs the quantitative technique of panel data regression of 10 Indonesian commercial banks. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is also employed to determine the priority between risk indicators affected by digital transformation in order to guarantee methodological triangulation. Findings/Result: The regression result indicates that digital transformation is statistically negatively correlated with credit risk (NPL), although the correlation is not significant at the 5% level. No significant relationship comes out of Z-score and LDR. AHP results identify that NPL has the highest priority weight of 0.7445, indicating that digital transformation activities are primarily focused on mitigating credit risk. Conclusion: Digitalization of Indonesian commercial banks could potentially reduce credit risk but needs further strengthening and testing to obtain statistically significant outcomes. Emphasis on NPL in AHP analysis highlights the strategic importance of credit risk management in digitalization. Originality/value (State of the art): This study contributes to the exceedingly small empirical literature on the impact of digital transformation on risk-taking in emerging banking markets. It combines econometric and decision-making approaches (regression and AHP) for a first-of-its-kind, combined look at the way digital initiatives prioritize different types of banking risks.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze elementary school students’ confidence in performing volleyball underhand serves and to identify the factors influencing their confidence during physical education learning. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The participants consisted of five elementary school students, one physical education teacher, and one parent from SDN Pasirbiru. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using NVivo software through coding, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students’ confidence levels were categorized into high, moderate, and low levels. Students with high confidence demonstrated greater participation, courage to perform underhand serves, and persistence when encountering difficulties. In contrast, students with low confidence tended to be passive, hesitant, and afraid of making mistakes during learning activities. The study also identified several factors influencing students’ confidence, including self-belief, emotional control, teacher support, peer support, and the learning environment. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the psychological aspects of elementary school students in volleyball learning, particularly confidence in performing underhand serves. The findings indicate that supportive and enjoyable physical education learning environments can enhance students’ confidence and participation in volleyball activities.

Abstract

Sumedang Regency, particularly the Mount Tampomas area, has strong potential to be developed as a trail running tourism destination. This study aims to analyze the development potential of trail running tourism in Sumedang using the MSP+DM framework (Marketability, Sustainability, Participatory, and Disaster Mitigation). A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed through field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving tourism managers, government representatives, and local community members. Data were analyzed using NVivo 12 software. The findings show that Mount Tampomas offers significant tourism potential supported by distinctive trail characteristics, accessible transportation, and active digital promotion through social media platforms. Community participation was identified as a major supporting factor, particularly in tourism operations, environmental conservation, and emergency response activities. Sustainability practices have been implemented through standard operating procedures, environmental maintenance programs, and local economic empowerment initiatives. In the disaster mitigation aspect, the main risks identified were lightning strikes and falling trees rather than landslides, indicating a discrepancy between governmental risk assumptions and empirical field conditions. The novelty of this study lies in the integrated application of the MSP+DM framework for analyzing trail running tourism development and in highlighting differences between policy-based risk perceptions and local experiential knowledge. The study recommends strengthening integrated tourism management, visitor carrying-capacity regulations, and collaborative stakeholder involvement to support sustainable trail running tourism development in Sumedang.

Abstract

Mountain climbing as a recreational sport has become increasingly popular among university students. However, participation levels remain varied, indicating the need to examine psychological factors influencing student involvement, particularly motivation. This study aimed to analyze students’ motivation levels, participation levels, and the relationship between the two variables in mountain climbing activities. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 30 members of the Nature Lovers Student Activity Unit at the Indonesian University of Education, Sumedang Campus. Data were collected using the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) questionnaire and a participation questionnaire based on Keith Davis’s participation theory. The findings showed that most students had high motivation (83.3%) and high participation levels (83.3%). Pearson correlation analysis revealed a strong positive relationship between student motivation and participation level (r = 0.776, p < 0.01). These findings indicate that higher student motivation is associated with greater participation in mountain climbing activities. This study highlights the importance of strengthening intrinsic motivation through structured recreational sport programs to promote sustainable student participation.
