Abstract

The implementation of yajña by the younger generation (Hindu students) often only refers to general "habits", while the use of specific references in the form of sacred lontar is still very minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to study more deeply the Hindu Sacred Lontar, especially for and by Hindu students in order to sublimate (change) the quality of understanding of religious values (yajña) to be more implementative. This research is a textual research, with the research method being descriptive qualitative and hermeneutic, so that in the analysis process it uses a qualitative in-depth verstehen (understanding) method. The approach used in this research is a psychological approach that focuses on literature. The primary data source in this research is Lontar Sundarigama which has been copied by Ida Bagus Arsana and published by PHDI Tabanan Regency, 1979. While the secondary data is from supporting books, literature reviews, documents, papers whose contents are relevant to the teachings of yajña. There are two data collection techniques used in this research, namely; Literature and Document recording. The results showed that self-sublimation efforts through Catur Marga-based yajña rituals for Hindu Students according to Lontar Sundarigama, consisted of; (1) Karma Marga (Students perform yajña regularly), (2) Bhakti Marga (Students place the aspect of Bhakti to God as an obligation), (3) Jnana Marga (Planting knowledge about good days for performing yajña), and (4) Raja Marga (collaboration in the implementation of yajña coupled with students' efforts to connect themselves to God through Yoga and Samadhi). Based on this study, it can be concluded that efforts to sublimate themselves through yajna for Hindu students have actually existed and been well expressed for a long time. Everything is clearly summarized in classical Hindu literature which can be used as a theoretical and implementative basis.

Abstract

Abstrak Infeksi saluran kemih (ISK) adalah masalah kesehatan yang sering muncul akibat kebiasaan buruk dalam menjaga kebersihan diri, khususnya di area urogenital. Remaja berisiko lebih tinggi terkena ISK karena sering mengabaikan kebersihan pribadi. Selain itu, penyalahgunaan Napza (Narkotika, Psikotropika, dan Zat Adiktif lainnya) juga menjadi ancaman serius bagi remaja. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja tentang pencegahan ISK dan bahaya Napza. Program ini bekerja sama dengan SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar sebagai mitra utama dalam kegiatan edukasi, sosialisasi, dan demonstrasi pemeriksaan ISK dan Napza. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa 33,33% siswa memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan 50% memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang ISK, sementara 50% siswa memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan 16,67% memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang Napza. Setelah kegiatan, post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: 91,67% siswa memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang ISK (peningkatan 116%) dan 100% memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang Napza (peningkatan 67%). Peningkatan ini menunjukkan efektivitas program PKM dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai ISK dan Napza. Peningkatan pengetahuan ini berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan kesadaran siswa, karena pemahaman yang lebih baik biasanya meningkatkan kesadaran dan mendorong perubahan perilaku positif. Kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan dan menghindari penyalahgunaan Napza meningkat sejalan dengan pengetahuan mereka yang lebih baik setelah mengikuti program ini. Implikasi dari program ini menekankan pentingnya edukasi berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan berbagai pihak dalam upaya pencegahan masalah kesehatan remaja, serta pentingnya dukungan dari keluarga dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung kesehatan remaja.Kata kunci: pengetahuan; kesadaran; napza;  ISK; remaja Abstract Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common health issue often resulting from poor personal hygiene, especially in the urogenital area. Adolescents are at a higher risk of developing UTIs due to frequently neglecting personal hygiene. Additionally, substance abuse (narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive substances) poses a serious threat to adolescents. The Community Service Program (PKM) at SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar aims to increase adolescents' knowledge and awareness of UTI prevention and the dangers of substance abuse. This program collaborates with SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar as the main partner in educational activities, socialization, and demonstrations of UTI and substance abuse screenings. Pre-test results showed that 33.33% of students had moderate knowledge and 50% had poor knowledge about UTIs, while 50% of students had moderate knowledge and 16.67% had poor knowledge about substance abuse. After the program, post-test results showed a significant improvement: 91.67% of students had good knowledge about UTIs (a 116% increase), and 100% had good knowledge about substance abuse (a 67% increase). This improvement indicates the effectiveness of the PKM program in enhancing students' understanding of UTIs and substance abuse. The increase in knowledge is directly proportional to an increase in students' awareness, as better understanding typically enhances awareness and encourages positive behavioral changes. Students' awareness of the importance of maintaining hygiene and avoiding substance abuse increased in line with their improved knowledge after participating in this program. The implications of this program emphasize the importance of continuous education and the involvement of various parties in preventing adolescent health issues, as well as the crucial role of family and community support in creating an environment that promotes adolescent health. Keywords: knowledge; awareness; substance abuse; UTIs; adolescents

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengenai struktur teks, ajaran seksualitas klasik yang terdapat dalam teks Lontar Rsi Sembina dan peran ajaran seksualitas klasik dalam teks lontar Rsi Sembina bagi perkembangan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologis. Data yang diperoleh, dikumpulkan dengan teknik kepustakaan dan pencatatan dokumen. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa susunan isi terstruktur dalam format struktur formal (manggala, korpus, epilog, bahasa) dan struktur naratif (tema dan aspek tutur). Ajaran seksualitas klasik yang terdapat didalamnya terpusat pada empat hal utama yaitu Ajaran Keharmonisan, Ajaran Yoga Sanggama, Ajaran Spiritual Healing, dan Ajaran Usada. Adapun peran ajaran seksualitas klasik dalam teks lontar Rsi Sembina bagi perkembangan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi, diantaranya; Peran Etika atau Kesusilaan, Peran Edukatif, Peran Komunikasi Non-Verbal atau Bahasa Tubuh, dan Peran Alternatif.

Abstract

Causal Euphoria of Yajña Ritual is a term coined by the researcher himself that refers to the accumulation of various phenomena in the implementation of yajña by Hindus in Bali. The implementation of yajña in Bali in the modern era in a certain quantity and capacity tends to display its festive side, so that the value or main purpose of the implementation of yajña is doubtful. In addition, there are 3 specific problems that must be studied and evaluated in this research, including the concept of Causal Euphoria Ritual Yajña, then the causes of the emergence of Causal Euphoria Ritual Yajña (CERiYa) among the younger generation of Hindus in Bali, and solutions in overcoming Causal Euphoria Ritual Yajña Implementation (CERiYa) among the younger generation of Hindus in Bali. Basically, the purpose of this research is to contribute thoughts to the dynamics of religious life, especially in the field of tradition and culture. Therefore, in the future, the implementation of yajña is not only focused on the systematics of implementation, but also understands its philosophical value.Given that this research is a type of Qualitative research, the data collection used literature and document recording techniques. The results of the analysis and evaluation show that Causal Euphoria of Yajña Ritual is a number of causes of the emergence of excessive excitement in a yajña ritual. The causes in question are largely due to several things, such as a low level of understanding of religious philosophy, a wrong religious perspective, and the unstoppable flow of modernization and globalization. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that there needs to be an improvement in the field of Hindu religious education, especially regarding yajña in in-formal, formal, and non-formal environments that are not only centered on the theoretical aspects but also on the quality of educators or religious instructors and the deepening of yajña philosophy.

Abstract

This service activity aims to form a peer group and introduce the Rapid Test for Drugs and Yoga Healing for Tawwakal Junior High School students, Denpasar Bali. The method of activities carried out is by way of guidance and counseling. The participants of this community service were 24 students, with evaluation instruments used in the form of pre and post test questionnaires. The results of this community service show that; (1) The introduction of Yoga Healing at SMP Tawakkal Denpasar can be implemented through basic breathing processing exercises to control stress, (2) The formation of peer groups is carried out well through the concept of groups organized based on the calculation of the gender characteristics of the participants, and (3 ) The results of the Pre Test and Post Test questionnaires showed a significant increase in student understanding at Tawakkal Junior High School Denpasar regarding the mechanism of drug testing and the dangers of drug abuse.
