Abstract

Multicultural Education in Language has become an increasingly relevant research subject in addressing the challenges of cultural diversity in educational contexts. This study aims to explore strategies for teaching foreign languages in multicultural environments with innovative approaches while highlighting potential obstacles and alternative solutions. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to gather data through literature review, classroom observations, and interviews with educators. The research findings indicate that multicultural education in language has the potential to broaden students' cross-cultural understanding, enhance intercultural communication skills, and foster attitudes of tolerance and appreciation for diversity. Thus, this study provides valuable insights for educational practitioners in developing inclusive and responsive teaching strategies for foreign languages in multicultural settings. Abstract

Green Restaurant Association (GRA) merupakan pedoman dalam penerapan Green Restaurant di United State of America yang telah berdiri sejak tahun 1990, Peran GRA sangat penting dalam mempelopori gerakan Green Restaurant di dunia perindustrian, yang bertujuan untuk menghijaukan operasional dengan menggunakan standar sertifikasi. Pool and Beach Restaurant di Faena Hotel Miami Beach yang melalui observasi awal memiliki potensi dan sangat menarik untuk diteliti dalam meraih Green Restaurant. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Faena Hotel Miami Beach dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara yang mendalam dengan pihak-pihak hotel yang menguasai bidangnya, observasi/pengamatan, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dari 7 indikator utama yaitu: Energy, Water Efficiency, Waste Reduction & Recycling, Reusables & Environmentally Preferable Disposables, Chemicals & Pollution Reduction, Building Materials, dan Sustainable Food, yang masing-masing memiliki sub-indikator sehingga menjadi 13 indikator menunjukan bahwa 82% Sesuai dengan indikator dan 18% Tidak Sesuai dengan indikator GRA. The Green Restaurant Association (GRA) is a guideline in implementing Green Restaurant in the United State of America which has been established since 1990. GRA's role is very important in pioneering the Green Restaurant movement in the industrial world, which aims to green operations by using certification standards. Pool and Beach Restaurant at Faena Hotel Miami Beach which through observation has potential and is very interesting to research in achieving Green Restaurant. This research was conducted at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with hotel parties who master their fields, observation, and documentation, which were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The result is researched with 7 main indicators, they are: Energy, Water Efficiency, Waste Reduction & Recycling, Reusables & Environmentally Preferable Disposables, Chemicals & Pollution Reduction, Building Materials, and Sustainable Food, each of which has sub-indicators there are 13 indicators in total, showing that 82% In accordance and 18% Not in accordance with the indicators of GRA.

Abstract

Study This aim For investigate connection between strategy marketing and dimensions Language in legacy market context smart (Smart Heritage Market), with focus on the Badung Market Case . In context globalization , legacy markets like Badung Market face challenge For still relevant and competitive in the digital era. One of aspect important from legacy market transformation being “smart” is use strategy effective marketing that leverages riches culture and history of the market . Beside that , language also holds role key in build market identity , communicating values legacy , and interesting interest consumer . Studies This use approach qualitative with interview depth and observation to practice marketing and use language at Badung Market . Analysis results show that strategy successful marketing in legacy markets must consider context culture and history local , as well utilise digital technology with wise . Use proper language , fine in promotion nor interaction direct with customers , too factor important in build connection emotional and empowering market image . Abstract

This study discusses the influence of the promotion carried out by celebrity Anggia Kloer in promoting facilities and events that will be held through the program with the aim of increasing consumer confidence in Manado so that it can be recognized by many people. The purpose of this study is to find out whether visibility, credibility, attraction, power have a positive and significant effect on the interest in visiting guests at the Four Points by Sanctoo Suites and Villas hotel. The population in this study were guests who had stayed at Four Points By Sanctoo Suites and Villas, had Instagram and followed Anggia Kloer on Instagram. The sample of this research is 40 people. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online using Google Forms to respondents. The static analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, validity test, reliability test, t test, and f test. Abstract

Kinerja karyawan sangat penting bagi perkembangan perusahaan itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh motivasi dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan housekeeping di Hard Rock Hotel Bali secara simultan maupun parsial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 responden diambil keseluruhannya. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, analisis koefisien determinasi. Pengujian hipotesis ini dilakukan pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara parsial motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan mengetahui nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 0,988 > 0,382 dan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Diikuti dengan variabel komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai 0,966 > 0,382 sedangkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa secara bersamasama motivasi dan komunkasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai 0,988 > 0,382 sedangkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,5. Berdasarkan penelitian ini pihak perusahaan diharapkan tetap senantiasa mengutamakan motivasi dan komunikasi sebagai jalan alternatif dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan agar lebih baik. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, Komunikasi, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of social media on Instagram on the decision to stay. The population uses the millennial generation who decide to stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali and read information on Instagram about The Apurva Kempinski Bali and a sample of 100 respondents. Research methodology: The data collection method used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test, and t-test. From the results of the study, the results obtained were that social media had a significant effect on the decision to stay, it is expected to provide good service and provide complete facilities, so that later consumers will give a good assessment on The Apurva Kempinski Bali's Instagram.Results: The research shows that Instagram social media has a positive and significant influence on millennials' stay decisions at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. This is in line with previous findings which show that the use of Instagram can influence guests' preferences and attraction to stay at certain hotels. Attractive and interactive visual content on Instagram can increase millennials' interest and decision to stay.Conclusions: Instagram social media has a positive and significant influence on millennials’ decision to stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. Interesting and interactive visual content on Instagram can increase interest and decision to stay. An effective digital marketing strategy through platforms such as Instagram is essential to attract millennials.Limitations: This study is limited to one location, namely The Apurva Kempinski Bali, so the results may not be generalizable to other hotels with different characteristics.Contribution: This research makes an important contribution in strengthening the understanding of the strategic role of social media, particularly Instagram, in influencing millennials' stay decisions in the hospitality industry. Abstract

5-star hotels are the choice of tourists to stay because of the luxury and completeness of facilities and the quality of service is very satisfying. Andaz Bali is one of the largest and most luxurious 5-star hotels in the Sanur area. This study aims to compare guest reviews against the quality of service and facilities of Andaz Bali hotels. The study was conducted from February 2023 to July 2023. This type of research is comparative research. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Kruskal-Wallis Test to compare reviews (Y) against service quality (X1) and facilities (X2). If the results of the Kruskal-Wallis Test show a significant difference, then proceed with the Mann-Whitney Test. The sample in the study amounted to 60 online reviews taken from 3 (three) online travel agents, namely Agoda, Booking.com, and Traveloka. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing using SPSS (Statistica Program and Service Solution) version 25.00 for windows. The results of this study showed that there was no significant difference (P > 0.05) from reviews on hotel reservation sites on the quality of service (X1) and facilities (X2). Guest reviews of the service quality are excellent. This can be seen from the many comments that state the hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Many guests found it very helpful during their stay at Andaz Bali. On the contrary, the guest's perception of the facility is bad. The cause is the lack of maintenance of buildings and facilities in the hotel area. In addition, cleanliness in the public areas around the hotel is not well maintained, especially in the beach area. Abstract

Komunikasi interpersonal memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, terutama dalam industri perhotelan yang menuntut kerja sama dan koordinasi yang baik. Komunikasi yang efektif memungkinkan karyawan memahami tugas dengan jelas, mengurangi kesalahpahaman, serta meningkatkan motivasi dan produktivitas kerja. Namun, masih terdapat kendala dalam komunikasi di lingkungan kerja, seperti kurangnya keterbukaan dan minimnya umpan balik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja karyawan di Discova Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan inferensial. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 40 karyawan di berbagai departemen hotel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana untuk mengukur hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dan kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 65,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik komunikasi interpersonal dalam lingkungan kerja, semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan. Faktor-faktor utama yang berkontribusi adalah kejelasan pesan, keterbukaan, sikap saling menghargai, dan umpan balik yang efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dampak kepemimpinan serta lingkungan kerja akan kinerja karyawan daily worker di The Oberoi Beach Resort Bali. Sampel yang dambil untuk penelitian ini adalah 50 responden. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan secara parsial kepemimpinan berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja daily worker dengan signifikansi 0,016 tidak lebih dari 0,05. Lingkungan kerja berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja daily worker dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 tidak lebih dari 0.05. Serta secara simultan kepemimpinan serta lingkungan kerja berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan daily worker dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 tidak lebih dari 0.05. kepemimpinan serta lingkungan kerja berperan sebesar 64,5% terhadap kinerja daily worker. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of leadership and work environment on the performance of daily worker employees at The Oberoi Beach Resort Bali. The sample size for this study was 50 respondents. The research findings show that leadership has a significant partial impact on the performance of daily worker employees, with a significance value of 0.016, which is less than 0.05. The work environment has a significant impact on the performance of daily worker employees, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, leadership and work environment have a significant simultaneous impact on the performance of daily worker employees, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Leadership and work environment account for 64.5% of the variation in daily worker performance.

Abstract

Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi Kinerja Karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel Motivasi dan Lingkungan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Aston Canggu Beach Resort, yaitu pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Juni 2021.Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Motivasi dan Lingkungan terhadap Kinerja di Aston Canggu Beach Resort, dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 112 karyawansebagai sampel,dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah teknik sampling jenuh. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan SPSS 25.0.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Variabel Motivasi berpengaruh signifikanterhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Variabel Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Varibel Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja bersama -sama berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut disarankan agar manajemen lebih memperhatikan pemberian Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja.
