Abstract

Methanolic extract of Java Plum (Syzygium cumini) seed (MEJS) have strong antioxidant activity by radical scavenging antioxidant-2,2 diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (RSA-DPPH) assay, ferric ion reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), also strong in the inhibition of lipid oxidation in the linoleic acid emulsion system assay, but moderate on striped catfish (Pangasius hypothalamus) oil-in-water emulsions. Antioxidant activity of MEJS is relatively stable on thermal heating by oven until 130 oC/10 minutes, gamma ray’s irradiation up to 12.5 KGy and suitable application on pH 6-9 acidity. MEJS is potential as a natural antioxidant in food system. However, must be carried out further assay the effectiveness of its use in commercial edible oil. The purpose of this research was to analyzed the effect of the addition of MEJS 200-1000 ppm against inhibition of lipid oxidation in an emulsion system. Research methods consisted of sesame seed oil extraction and analyzes of its a fatty acid profile, MEJS applied on sesame seed oil emulsion system to inhibit of lipid oxidation during 3 weeks storage. Assay variables were RSA-DPPH, the peroxide value  (PoV), TBARs value and the free fatty acids (FFA) values changes. The result showed that 35.85% Sesame seed oil yield consisted of 11.62% saturated fatty acids, 6.23 % mono unsaturated fatty acids and 85.95% poly unsaturated fatty acids. Applied of MEJS (200-1000 ppm) could increase of DPPH• radical scavenging stronger than both BHT 200 ppm and the control (sesame seed oil bulky), but didn’t correlative impact with inhibition autoxidation on it. Applied MEJS > 800 ppm comparable with BHT 200 ppm. MEJS as a natural antioxidant is not appropriate to apply for the oil in water of emulsion system.

Abstract

Abstract:. School is an institution that is both complex and unique. School as an institution of education providers that are trusted by the community as a tool to shape the personality of the individual in society, educating citizens for the better and will be expected to be useful to the nation. Schools National Standard is a manifestation of the PP 19/2005 on the National Education Standards (SNP). SMPN 2 Siak Hulu as one SSN to the quality of education in the form of aspects of input, process and output. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out what lies behind the establishment of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu in 1986, 2) to determine the role of local communities in the establishment of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu, 3) to determine the development of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu in 1986-2011, 4) to determine the efforts that have been made by principals from the beginning of the establishment to become SSN, and 5) to determine the state of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu after becoming SSN in 2011 until now. The method used is the historical method in which data were collected through library study, interview and documentation. Analysis of data using qualitative approach. When the study began filing title until the completion of a revised proposal last essay writer. The results showed that, the background of the establishment of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu because there is no school in the village of Pangkalanbaru, so that the community leaders suggested that established Junior High School in the area. The role of society in the establishment of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu is great to donate the land for the location of the establishment until reinforcements during pembangunannnya. In the development of many changes that occur in SMPN 2 Siak Hulu. The developments include the development of teachers, students, infrastructure to achievement and school accreditation. Further, each principal has their own way to promote education in SMPN 2 Siak Hulu. After SSN is set to be the year 2011, SMPN 2 Siak Hulu continue to make improvements to improve the quality of education that includes aspects of input, process and output. Based on these results it can be concluded that the developments happening in SMPN 2 Siak Hulu to promote education from its inception in 1986 until set to SSN in 2011, and until now.Key Words: Development of SMPN 2 Siak Hulu, National Standard School (SSN)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berkembangnya pemukiman mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan tata guna lahan, yang sebelumnya lahan terbuka hijau menjadi lahan kegiatan pembangunan pemukiman (Grand Sukati). Agar buangan akibat curah hujan dan buangan air limbah tidak mencemari lingkungan dan lahan pertanian yang ada di lingkungan komplek perumahan Grand Sukati diperlukan perencanaan sistem penyaluran air buangan akibat curah hujan dan buangan air limbah. Dalam perencanaan saluran buangan ini memperhitungkan letak saluran drainase di kawasan pemukiman ini seperti saluran primer dan sekunder. Tahapan perencanaan drainase air hujan meliputi analisis hidrologi yaitu analisis periode ulang hujan, analisis curah hujan rencana, analisis intensitas curah hujan, analisis waktu konsentrasi, analisis koefisien limpasan permukaan, dan analisis debit puncak limpasan serta analisis hidrolika yaitu analisis kecepatan dalam saluran, menentukan dimensi penampang hidrolis saluran dengan menggunakan rumus Manning. Untuk buangan air limbah dihitung berdasarkan jumlah perumahan dan fasilitas umum sehingga jumlah perumahan akan berkurang akibat penggunan lahan untuk lokasi kolektor dan IPAL. Tahapan perencanaan sistem perpipaan air limbah meliputi analisis debit air limbah rumah tangga perhari yang dipakai dalam perencanaan dimensi pipa air limbah. Debit rencana drainase air hujan pada perencanaan ini berkisar antara 0,03 m3/detik sampai 2,23 m3/detik. Terdapat 47 saluran dengan periode ulang 10 tahun. Saluran drainase yang direncanakan dengan sistem terbuka secara gravitasi menggunakan penampang melintang segiempat dengan dimensi saluran primer untuk lebar saluran sebesar 1,50 m dan kedalaman saluran sebesar 0,75 m serta saluran sekunder untuk untuk lebar saluran sebesar 0,74 m dan kedalaman sebesar 0,37 m. Untuk buangan air limbah debit rencana berkisar antara 0,00002 m3/detik dan 0,02 m3/detik. Saluran air limbah direncanakan dengan sistem perpipaan secara gravitasi dan pompa dengan bahan pipa pvc menggunakan pipa berdiameter  4” untuk pipa persil, pipa berdiameter  6” untuk pipa servis, pipa berdiameter 8” untuk pipa lateral, pipa berdiameter  8” untuk pipa induk.   Kata kunci: Air limbah, curah hujan, debit rencana, dimensi, limpasan

Abstract

ABTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the use of social media and socioeconomic status on the consumer behavior of class XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Gubug both commercially and simultaneously. the population in this study was 106 students with a sample of 84 students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The results of this study were obtained Y = -8,890 + 0,855X1 + 0,606X2. Social media simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior in XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Gubug. Socio-economic status has a positive and significant influence on the consumptive behavior of SMA Negeri 1 Gubug students. Partially, social media and socioeconomic status influence consumer behavior by 0.527 meaning that the contribution of variable X (independent) is social media and socioeconomic status to the Y variable (dependent) consumer behavior is 52.7% while the remaining 47.3 % is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Petai (Parkia speciosa, HASSK) leaf extract on total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and HDL levels in dyslipidemic rat models induced high-fat feed. The pre and post-test with control group design using 30 rats were divided into 5 groups, namely positive, normal, and Petai leaf extract at doses of 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg BW. All rats were fed high fat diet for 14 days. The extract group was given Petai leaf extract orally from day 14 to day 28. Lipid profiles were tested using enzymatic spectrophotometry method. Petai leaf extract was identified to contain flavonoid compounds. The research showed that the Petai leaf extract at a dose of 100, 200 and 400 mg / kg BW  were able to decrease total cholesterol: (-32.06 ± 3.63), (-47.23 ± 2.98), and (-49,18 ± 2.66), mg / dL; triglyceride: (-11.12 ± 3.99), (-37.31 ± 0.65), and (-43.01 ± 1.17) mg / dL; LDL: (-17.14 ± 9.30), (-46.51 ± 1.99), and (-46.51 ± 1.99) mg / dL; and increasing HDL levels: (6.44 ± 0.21), (8.42 ± 0.73), and (12.1 ± 0.43) mg / dL respectively. This study proves that Petai leaf extract has anti-dyslipidemic activity in rat models by reducing total cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL and increasing HDL levels.

Abstract

ABSTRAKRangkaian panel RISHA menciptakan ruangan maksimal 3 m x 3 m. Beberapa penelitian yang dilakukan membuktikan ukuran tersebut belum nyaman jika digunakan sebagai rumah tinggal Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah (MBR). Pada perkembangannya, teknologi RISHA digunakan untuk bangunan dengan bentang balok yang lebih lebar, sehingga kekakuan balok harus ditingkatkan, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi posisi sambungan dan penambahan elemen pengaku dalam upaya meningkatkan kekakuan pada sambungan antar panel struktur RISHA. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan simulasi software beam calculator untuk mendapatkan uji gaya momen, gaya geser, dan defleksi. Analisis menggunakan metode weighted product (WP) untuk mendapatkan posisi sambungan dan elemen pengaku terbaik. Simulasi dilakukan dengan eksplorasi posisi sambungan dan elemen pengaku untuk meningkatkan kekakuan pada sambungan antar panel struktur RISHA. Hasil pengujian menunjukan balok yang terdiri dari tiga panel memiliki kekakuan yang lebih besar dari dua panel dan elemen pengaku splice lebih unggul dibandingkan corbel, maka penambahan elemen pengaku terbukti dapat meningkatkan kekakuan pada sambungan antar panel struktur RISHA.Kata kunci: RISHA, kekakuan, corbel, splice, momen, gaya geser ABSTRACTThe RISHA series of panels creates a room of up to 3 m x 3 m. Several studies have been conducted to prove that this size is not comfortable when used as a low-income community residence. In its development, RISHA technology is used for buildings with wider span beams, so that beam stiffness must be increased, therefore this study aims to review the position of joints and the addition of stiffener elements to increase stiffness in joints between RISHA structural panels. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The data collection method uses beam calculator software simulation to obtain moment force, shear, and deflection tests. The analysis uses the weighted product (WP) method to get the best joints and stiffener elements. The simulation was carried out by exploring the position of the joints and the stiffening of the elements to increase the stiffness of the joints between the RISHA structural panels. The test results show that the beam consisting of three panels has greater stiffness than the two panels and the splice stiffener element is more than the corbel, so the addition of the stiffener element is proven to increase the elasticity at the joints between the RISHA structural panels.Keywords: RISHA, stiffener, corbel, splice, moment, shear force

Abstract

Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat mengembangkan ekonomi dengan pemanfaatan bahan limbah pertanian adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pada Kelompok Tani. Salah satu Kelompok Tani yang ada di Rowosari adalah Kelompok Tani Rowotengah yang beralamat di Dk. Rowotengah, Kelurahan Rowosari, Kota Semarang. Tanaman Jagung merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak ditanam oleh masyarakat sekitar. Sasaran pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah anggota Kelompok Tani Rowotengah, Kelurahan Rowosari, KecamatanTembalang, Kota Semarang. Karena pandemi, pada kegiatan ini hanya diikuti oleh perwakilan Kelompok Tani Rowotengah sebanyak 7 orang. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dan observasi langsung dengan Ketua Kelompok Tani didapatkan informasi bahwa selama ini limbah rambut jagung juga masih belum termanfaatkan. Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini adalah mensosialisasikan manfaat limbah jagung sebagai pangan fungsional yang aman bagi kesehatan dan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan teh herbal yang berasal dari limbah. Diharapkan bermanfaat bagi kelompoktani dan masyarakat sekitar menjadi sadar mengenai besarnya potensi rambut jagung sebagai pangan fungsional yang baik untuk kesehatan. Selain itu, diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengolah dan mengembangkan produk baru hasil olahan teh herbal rambut jagung, sehingga nantinya dapat sebagai digunakan sebagai bekal untuk berwirausaha. Dengan peluang berwirausaha yang terbuka dari pemanfaatan olahan teh herbalrambut jagung dapat menghasilkan keuntungan yang lebih untuk Kelompok Tani ataupun masyarakat sekitar menjadi lebih baik. Abstract

The flow of globalization also has a negative impact on social life, namely the erosion of social character values in students. Ironically, in this modern era, the world of education, especially in Indonesia, is from time to time faced with various problems, one of which is education which is actually a means of making the nation's life smarter. The school seeks to form a socially caring character through classroom learning, including social studies learning. Good behavior or attitudes towards other people are called social care characters, an example of which is infaq activities. The aim of this research is to determine efforts to instill social care values in elementary school students through learning social studies subjects. This study refers to the library research method (library search) which uses literature to facilitate analysis of research results. Through writing this study, it is hoped that elementary school students can develop social care personalities through social studies learning so that these students can become better individuals.
