Abstract

Abstract: The development of technology flows is increasing. The internet, which was initially used by several groups as a medium for the transformation of scientific and academic data, has now been used in almost all aspects of people's lives, including e-commerce transactions. E-commerce transactions are transactions carried out without meetings between parties. By using e-commerce, many reservations are obtained from the seller or buyer. The convenience offered doesn't mean it doesn?t rise the problems. For Muslims, understanding the status of e-commerce transactions is important. E-commerce accepts payments with bai?s-salam, which is about non-related transactions and the suspension of goods for payments that have been hastened. It's just that if on Bai 's-Salam a face-to-face meeting is held for the implementation of sighat, it is different with e-commerce that communicate only through chat. Internet yang pada awalnya digunakan oleh beberapa kalangan sebagai media transformasi data ilmiah dan akademik, kini telah digunakan di hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk transaksi jual beli (e-commerce). Transaksi e-commerce merupakan transaksi yang dilakukan tanpa adanya pertemuan antar para pihak. Dengan menggunakan e-commerce, banyak kemudahan yang diperoleh baik dari pihak penjual maupun pembeli. Kemudahan yang ditawarkan bukan berarti tidak menimbulkan masalah. Bagi kaum muslim, mengetahui status dari transaksi e-commerce merupakan hal yang penting. E-commerce  memiliki kesamaan dengan bai? as-salam yaitu mengenai unsur-unsur terjadinya transaksi serta adanya penangguhan barang untuk pembayaran yang telah disegerakan. Hanya saja, jika pada bai? as-salam dilakukan pertemuan face to face untuk pelaksanaan sighat, berbeda halnya dengan e-commerce yang melakukan komunikasi via chatting. E-commerce diperbolehkan dalam Islam dengan catatan tidak adanya unsur riba?, gharar, maisir, dsb. Oleh karena itu, jika dihubungkan dengan sistem pembayaran pada e-commerce, maka dianjurkan tidak menggunakan kartu kredit guna menghindari terjadinya riba?.

Abstract

Mathematical economics is one of the compulsory courses in sharia economics students. At each exam of the mathematical economics course, the majority of scores earned by students tend to be low. It is the anxiety of facing the exam on mathematical economics courses that are considered as one of the causes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The study aims to find out anxiety students have on the course of mathematical economics. The research subject is sharia economics students of IAIN Ponorogo who is taking a course in mathematical economics. The triangulation techniques of interviews, observations, and documentation are done for data retrieval. The results showed that student anxiety towards mathematical economics courses tends to be high. Some reasons for students' anxiety are educational backgrounds that are social majors, anxiety on low test scores, anxiety on the character of the lecturer, and anxiety caused by low self-efficacy in the ability to solve mathematical economics problems. From the results of this research, the lecturer is expected to be a motivator and mediator for students to reduce students' anxiety towards the courses of mathematical economics.

Abstract

[English]: Students' motivation and personality are two important aspects of mathematics learning. Both aspects can be used as one of the bases for mathematics educators to design learning strategies. However, students' motivation for different personality types has not been widely revealed. This qualitative research aims to uncover prospective mathematics teachers’ (PMT) motivation with introverted and extroverted personalities in mathematics learning. The participants were selected using a personality test and then an interview was conducted. The findings show that, in general, the motivation profile of introverted PMT is different from the extroverted ones. Past experiences of success and self-efficacy became essential factors in the motivation of the introvert. As for the extrovert, friends, and interactions in an activity become a motivating factor in learning mathematics. Implications of the findings will be further discussed. [Bahasa]: Motivasi dan kepribadian siswa merupakan dua aspek penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kedua aspek tersebut dapat dijadikan salah satu landasan bagi pendidik matematika untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran. Namun, bagaimana motivasi siswa berdasarkan tipe kepribadian yang berbeda belum banyak terungkap. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan mengungkap profil motivasi mahasiswa calon guru dengan kepribadian introver dan ekstrover dalam pembelajaran matematika. Partisipan dipilih dengan menggunakan instrumen tes kepribadian, kemudian dilakukan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara umum profil motivasi calon guru introver berbeda dengan yang memiliki kepribadian ekstrover. Pengalaman sukses masa lalu dan kepercayaan diri tentang kemampuan diri menjadi faktor penting dalam motivasi calon guru introver. Sedangkan untuk calon guru ekstrover, teman dan interaksi dalam suatu kegiatan menjadi faktor motivasi dalam belajar matematika. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini akan dibahas lebih lanjut dalam artikel ini.

Abstract

Contemporary cuisine still becomes a culinary destination that is loved by millennials. The generation which is connected with the use of social media often uploads every social activity, including culinary. Posting pictures before eating on social media becomes an activity that is usually done by millennials before enjoying culinary. This study aims to determine the motives of the Ponorogo millennial generation in the act of posting before eating when they enjoy a culinary dish. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Interview, observation, and documentation triangulation techniques are used to collect data from 20 informants who actively use social media to post before eating. The results showed that the motives of the millennial generation to take pictures before eating are as a means to share fun or hobbies, share information about current culinary recommendations, and show self-existence.Kuliner kekinian masih menjadi tujuan kuliner yang digandrungi oleh generasi milenial. Generasi yang dalam kehidupannya erat dengan penggunaan media sosial ini sering kali mengunggah setiap aktivitas sosialnya termasuk dalam hal kuliner. Membagikan gambar yang hendak dimakan ke media sosial menjadi suatu aktivitas yang biasa dilakukan oleh generasi milenial sebelum menikmati sajian kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif generasi milenial Ponorogo dalam melakukan tindakan posting before eating ketika akanmenikmati sajian kuliner kekinian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik triangulasi yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari 20 orang informan yang aktif menggunakan media sosial untuk melakukan tindakan posting before eating. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motif generasi milenial melakukan tindakan posting before eating antara lain sebagai sarana untuk menyalurkan kesenangan atau hobi, membagikan informasi tentang rekomendasi tempat kuliner kekinian dan menunjukkan eksistensi diri.

Abstract

Mathematical disposition can help students overcome difficulties in learning mathematics more effectively. With the mediation of mathematical disposition, the positive influence of self-directed learning can more easily lead to increased students' problem-solving abilities. This research aims to explore the role of mathematical disposition as a mediator in influencing learning difficulties and self-directed learning on problem-solving abilities. The survey method was used to collect data based on probability sampling from 32 students from class 5 at MI Ma'arif Patihan Wetan. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire consisting of a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers. PLS-SEM analysis was used to analyze data and test and evaluate the construction of variables measuring problem-solving abilities. The results of the analysis show that problem-solving abilities are not significantly influenced by learning difficulties (β=0.000; ρ=0.998) and self-directed learning (β=0.000; ρ=0.061). In addition, mathematical disposition was proven to mediate the influence of learning difficulties (β=0.443; ρ=0.000) and self-directed learning (β=0.214; ρ=0.286) on problem-solving abilities. These findings highlight the importance of mathematical disposition in facilitating problem-solving abilities through learning difficulties and self-directed learning. The practical implication of this research is the need for a holistic approach in developing a positive attitude towards mathematics as an integral part of the learning approach. This research supports efforts to provide a learning environment that supports, motivates, and encourages students to develop positive mathematical dispositions. As well as emphasizing the development of metacognitive skills and utilizing learning technology to facilitate interaction and collaboration between students in exploring mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Student understanding is one of the interesting topics that is often the subject of research in the scope of mathematics education. On the other hand, cognitive style has a contribution related to student understanding. This study aims to determine how the understanding of junior high school students in solving quadrilateral problems based on cognitive style field independent and field dependent. Qualitative descriptive research involving 2 students consisting of 1 student cognitive style field independent and 1 student cognitive style field dependent. Research data obtained using several instruments namely GEFT, TKM, TPM, and interview guidelines. Furthermore, data checking was carried out using time triangulation. The results showed that the understanding of students in different cognitive styles also showed different understanding when solving problems. At each stage of problem solving, including the stages of understanding the problem, developing a plan, implementing the plan, and checking back, it is described about how the understanding and the extent of the connection of information with the scheme owned by each subject. In full, the understanding of students in solving geometry problems is described comprehensively in the research results section. Students with cognitive style field independent have information linkage with schema that has much more when compared with students with cognitive style field dependent. Based on the results of the study, teachers as educators can pay more attention to students with different cognitive styles when solving math problems. Therefore, instilling understanding and training students in solving mathematical problems is something that teachers should strive for in order to achieve quality learning objectives.

Abstract

This research is a literature review that examines the literature related to the effectiveness of the Hands on and Minds on learning approach on students' self efficacy. Data collection uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis (PRISMA) method. A total of 20 articles were obtained as qualitative synthesis review materials. This research shows that Hands on and Minds on learning is effective in increasing students' mathematical self-efficacy. However, in terms of learning methods, students generally prefer contextualized Hands on and Minds on learning. The Hands on and Minds on learning model is also effective in improving students' mathematical soft skills, namely computational thinking and systematic thinking.

Abstract

Siswa diharapkan tidak hanya mampu mengingat materi namun lebih jauh dari itu adalah memahami konsep materi dengan ditunjang keterampilan personal dan interpersonal yang memadai hingga dapat membantu mereka memecahkan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah menerapkan Pendekatan Pembelajaran Hands on and Minds on untuk meningkatkan self efficacy matematis siswa. Penelitian ini adalah literature review yang mengkaji literatur terkait keefektifan pendekatan pembelajaran Hands on and Minds on terhadap self efficacy siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis (PRISMA). Sebanyak 20 artikel telah diperoleh sebagai bahan kajian sintesis kualitatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan, pembelajaran Hands on and Minds on efektif dalam meningkatkan self efficacy matematis siswa. Namun, dari segi cara pembelajaran, siswa secara umum lebih menyukai pembelajaran Hands on and Minds on yang secara kontekstual. Model pembelajaran Hands on and Minds on  juga efektif untuk meningkatkan soft skill matematika siswa, yaitu computational thinking dan berpikir sistematis.

Abstract

Mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang berasal dari asal sekolah berbeda sering kali menunjukkan minat, kompetensi, maupun partisipasi yang berbeda saat pembelajaran matematika. Perbedaan ini dapat menunjukkan dugaan bahwa identitas matematis yang mereka miliki bisa saja berkaitan dengan asal sekolah sebelumnya. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data uji Kruskall Wallis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi apakah ada perbedaan identitas matematis yang dimiliki mahasiswa calon guru matematika dengan asal sekolah yang berbeda. Sebanyak 88 mahasiswa dari 3 asal sekolah berbeda yaitu MA, SMA, dan SMK dilibatkan sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun nilai mean rank mahasiswa calon guru matematika dari ketiga asal sekolah berbeda, namun tidak ditemukan perbedaan identitas matematis yang signifikan secara statistik (nilai asymptotic sig 0,335 > 0,05) pada mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang berasal dari asal sekolah berbeda, termasuk untuk setiap komponen pembentuk identitas matematis. Oleh karena itu, dosen atau pendidik matematika diharapkan dapat menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang kolaboratif tanpa membedakan asal sekolah mahasiswa demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran dan berkembangnya identitas matematis yang positif bagi mahasiswa calon guru matematika.
