Abstract

Kebutuhan pakan hijauan selalu sulit diperoleh oleh masyarakat peternak pada musim kemarau. Sementara hijauan akan melimpah pada musim hujan atau panen jagung. Hal ini yang dialami oleh Kelompok Tani Bangsring Berkah Abadi di Desa Bangsring Kecamatan Wongsorejo, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan praktek dalam pembuatan silase sebagai pakan alternatif pada musim kemarau. Pembuatan silase dengan memanfaatkan hijauan mengunakan batang dan daun jagung yang melimpah pada musim panen untuk menghadapi musim kemarau. Pendekatan pengabdian dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini ada 4 tahap, yaitu tahap survei kebutuhan, persiapan materi, alat, dan bahan, tahap pelaksanaan, serta tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan dan mampu membuat silase sebagai pakan alternatif untuk ternak sapi dengan berbagai manfaat.

Abstract

Bubble flow configurations generated by an ejector bubble generator were captured using a high-speed video camera and extracted into several images. The air flow and nozzle diameter were varied during the test in ranges of 0.1-1.5 lpm and 1.17-3.5 mm, respectively. The results reveal that in general the bubble flow structure coming out from the bubble generator is divided into three regions, namely the entrance, bubble swarm, and bubble dispersed region. It is found that there is a higher time delay of bubble production when the air flow and the nozzle diameter decrease. On the other hand, the bubble production time is longer, if the air flow and the nozzle diameter increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the length of boiling goat bone broth with the addition of apple vinegar based on physicochemical tests (viscosity, pH value and protein content) and organoleptic tests (color, taste, aroma and level of preference). This study used natural vinegar to avoid the use of synthetic vinegar acid and used apple vinegar to help the process of removing minerals and collagen found in goat bones. The research design used was a non-factorial Complete Random Design (RAL) and a non-factorial Group Random Design (RAK) including 4 treatments and 4 repeats, namely P1 = boiling time 6 hours, P2 = boiling time 12 hours, P3 = boiling time 18 hours and P4 = boiling time 24 hours. The results showed that the length of boiling time of goat bone broth had a real effect (P0.05) on viscosity with the highest value of 46.50 cP, pH value with the highest value of 5.42, and protein content with the highest value of 6.2% and organoleptic tests (color, aroma, taste and preference) of goat bone broth had a very real effect (P0.01). The best average result of the organoleptik test value of goat bone broth was at P4 (boiling time 24 hours).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Rumah Makan Ayam Betutu Mbak Timah di Kabupaten Banyuwangi, dengan mempertimbangkan masa kerja sebagai variabel moderator. Peneliti menggunakan empat variabel independent yaitu hubungan antar karyawan, komunikasi, lingkungan kerja dan masa kerja. populasi pada penenlitian ini adalah semua karyawan rumah makan ayam betutu mbak Timah, sampel yang di ambil yaitu sebanyak 35 karyawan responden dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh. Analisis data yang di gunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Analisis datanya meliputi uji melibatkan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji t dan uji F, serta uji koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil Penelitian berdasarkan uji F menunjukan bahwa nilai Fhitung = 3,682 > nilai Ftabel 2,90 yang berarti variabel hubungan antar karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, komunikasi dan masa kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji T menunjukan bahwa variabel hubungan antar karyawan dengan nilai -2,039 berpengaruh signifikan, komunikasi dengan nilai 2,208 berpengaruh signifikan, lingkungan kerja memiliki nilai 1,995 yang berarti tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, serta masa kerja dengan nilai 4,7 % yang berarti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The laying hen farming business is one of the contributors of protein food to the community but faces stiff competition in business. This research examines the external and internal factors of the laying hen cultivation business at PT. Supermama Farm. The research method is descriptive. The analysis tools are SWOT analysis and QSPM. The research results show that the total IFAS value is 3,238 and the EFAS value is 3,029. This condition is in quadrant I. The main strategy taken by the company is trying to maintain chicken performance so that the quality of the eggs is high, maintaining relationships with the social environment and customers (TAS 7.140), and guaranteeing product quality (7.082).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen di Badan Standarisasi Instrumen Pertanian Jawa Timur (BSIP Jawa Timur). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel independent yaitu WhatsApp business dan kualitas pelayanan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua konsumen DOC ayam KUB di BSIP Jawa Timur. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian sebanyak 60 responden dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Metode ini menggunakan responden dengan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan antara lain, konsumen yang telah membeli DOC ayam KUB di BSIP Jawa Timur melalui pesan WhatsApp business, usia minimal 17 tahun, dan konsumen yang berada di BSIP Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji F menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. 0.000 < 0.05 yang berarti variabel WhatsApp business dan kualitas pelayanan secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa variabel whatsapp business dan kualitas pelayanan secara parsial berpengaruh sifnifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Variabel WhatsApp business memiliki pengaruh paling dominan dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing mix and development strategy of goat milk at Karya Etawa Farm, Kalipuro District, Banyuwangi Regency. The research method is a case study using descriptive analysis data and SWOT analysis. Data were collected in April - July 2021. The results of the study showed that the marketing mix in Karya Etawa Farm includes (a) goat milk products produced have various flavors and good quality, (b) product prices follow competitors, (c) milk distribution is carried out either directly to consumers or through retailers, (d) promotional activities are carried out through face-to-face and sales promotions. The business development strategy can be carried out through (a) business owners utilizing and maintaining business locations to produce quality products and improve marketing networks, b) maintaining product quality by utilizing support and supervision from the government, (c) maintaining product quality and setting competitive market prices, (d) strengthening and expanding marketing network cooperation through resellers of goat milk products, (e) using more modern technology to produce quality products and raise interest in goat milk consumption. Keywords: marketing mix, goat milk, development strategies

Abstract

Waste is a problem faced by all countries around the world, including Indonesia. The increasing amount of waste is due to ineffective management. However, some villages in Banyuwangi, including Benelan Lor, are starting to make efforts to manage waste more effectively. Given the rising volume of organic waste generated by the community and its impact on the environment, proper processing is essential, one of which is maggot farming. One challenge faced by partners is the lack of community awareness regarding household waste management. Therefore, raising awareness about effective waste management is crucial, as it can also provide income opportunities for the community. One solution that can be implemented is the farming of Black Soldier Fly (BSF). This initiative begins with surveys, the construction of breeding facilities, and socialization and training on BSF farming. It is hoped that through this activity, partners will be able to manage waste independently and support the economic improvement of the community in Benelan Lor Village.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze consumer preferences and purchase intentions regarding krauz rambak crackers, a product developed by the Teaching Factory Cerva of the Livestock Product Processing Technology Department at Banyuwangi State Polytechnic. These crackers are made from processed cowhide and are available in three flavor variants original, balado, and grilled corn. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the research involved 354 active students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via observation, questionnaire distribution, and interviews, and analyzed using a Likert scale with the assistance of Microsoft Excel 2019. The results indicated that taste and price received positive evaluations from consumers, with an average score of 4.16 (liked). The original flavor was the most preferred variant 4.26, while grilled corn ranked lowest 4.00. The product’s price was considered highly affordable, receiving the highest score of 4.28. On the other hand, consumer purchase intention fell under the “moderate interest” category, with an average score of 3.36. While consumers expressed willingness to buy and recommend the product, further efforts are needed to improve product information dissemination. Krauz rambak crackers have promising market potential among students, especially if promotional strategies and flavor development are optimized.

Abstract

Desa Pondoknongko memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor perikanan, khususnya budidaya Kepiting Soka. Namun, keterbatasan pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam budidaya masih menjadi kendala bagi masyarakat setempat untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi panen. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Pondoknongko melalui pelatihan budidaya Kepiting Soka dengan sistem apartemen dan penerapan teknologi Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan praktik langsung, dan pendampingan teknis kepada para pembudidaya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mengelola budidaya Kepiting Soka secara lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, penerapan sistem apartemen dan teknologi Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) terbukti mampu mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan Kepiting Soka serta mempercepat waktu panen. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Pondoknongko melalui pengembangan usaha budidaya Kepiting Soka yang lebih produktif dan berkelanjutan.
