Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that are unique among other educational institutions and have a strong religious habitus. This research aims to find out what the religious habitus of Islamic boarding schools looks like and what the construction process of religious habitus is in the Al-Islam Islamic boarding school in Ponorogo, East Java. Qualitative methods were used in this research, including observation, interview, and documentation techniques, as tools for collecting data. This research shows that the habitus characteristics of the Al-Islam Islamic boarding school include three aspects. Firstly, hysteresis lasts long and is not easily changed; it is difficult to change once formed. Secondly, transposability can be inherited and can be learned. Thirdly, it is a generator that encourages the growth of new social practices. The construction of the habitus of the Al-Islam Islamic boarding school at the beginning of its establishment went through a long dialectical process by the founders of the Islamic boarding school. Then, it was instilled in the students in various ways, including in the curriculum, role models from Kyai (the head of Islamic boarding schools), and instilling the Islamic boarding school’s philosophy of the five souls. The results of this research can contribute to strengthening religious habitus in Islamic boarding schools as religious education institutions regarding the importance of role models and a conducive environment in forming the religious habitus of students.

Abstract

Amid the entrenched grip of dynastic and oligarchic political power, non-elite women politicians are developing innovative strategies to garner public support. This study examines how non-elite women navigate structural and cultural to confront dynastic and oligarchic politics within the Southeast Sulawesi parliament during the 2019 and 2024 elections. The research focuses on three regions—the Kendari City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Konawe DPRD, and the South Konawe DPRD—where non-elite women have secured more electoral victories than their elite counterparts, despite the strong presence of dynastic politics at both executive and legislative levels. Data were collected through interviews with women politicians and their campaign teams, as well as documentation of campaign billboards and campaign shadowing. Using a political anthropology approach, this study reveals that non-elite women politicians strategically identify safer voter bases, build cohesive teams, and cultivate grassroots loyalty. While their overall influence remains limited, they effectively navigate and counter the intrigues of dynastic and oligarchic politics. The study highlights how their electoral success contributes to reducing class disparities and gender gaps, fostering gradual political change at both micro and macro levels.

Abstract

Platform digital dapat digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran asinkron di kelas. Pembelajaran asinkron adalah pembelajaran dengan interaksi yang dilakukan secara fleksibel dan tidak harus dalam waktu yang bersamaan, misalnya menggunakan forum diskusi atau pembelajaran/tugas mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika dengan platform digital terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Platform digital yang diamati terbatas pada Zoom dan WhatsApp Group. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling dengan jumlah 63 siswa. Analisis uji kesetimbangan menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelas memiliki kemampuan yang sama. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Hasil validitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes dapat digunakan karena memiliki rentang indeks 0,667 – 1. Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik. Data mengikuti asumsi distribusi normal dan variansnya homogen. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda antara kedua strategi pembelajaran. Dengan melihat rata-rata kedua kelas dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran yang paling berpengaruh adalah pembelajaran dengan WhatsApp Group. Digital platforms can be used as asynchronous learning strategies in the classroom. Asynchronous learning is learning with interaction that is carried out flexibly and does not have to be at the same time, for example using discussion forums or independent learning/assignment. The purpose of this research was to see whether there was an effect of learning mathematics with digital platforms on mathematics learning outcomes. The observed digital platforms are limited to Zoom and WhatsApp Group. This type of research is an experiment. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with a sample number of 63 students. The analysis of the equilibrium test shows that both classes have the same ability. The instrument used is a test. The results of the validity indicate that the test instrument can be used because it has an index range of 0.667 – 1. The data analysis uses parametric statistics. The data follows the assumption of a normal distribution and the variance is homogeneous. The conclusion of the study states that there are different effects between the two learning strategies. By looking at the average of the two classes it can be said that the most influential learning is learning with the WhatsApp Group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui psikologi perkembangan anak dengan hambatan intelektual sedang di sekolah luar biasa. Penelitian ini mcnggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak dengan hambatan intelektual sedang menunjukkan masalah perkembangan pada semua perkembangan, yaitu fisik, kognitif, emosi, social, motoric dan Bahasa. Adapun upaya guru kelas dan keluarga untuk meningkatkan kemandirian anak terutama untuk kehidupan sehari-harinya yaitu melalui pembiasaan kemandirian , baik di sekolah maupun di rumah.
