Abstract

Based on TIMSS 2011 and PISA 2018, mathematical connection ability of Indonesian students has not been optimal. Some of questions in TIMSS and PISA measured the mathematical connections ability. Needed the instructional media to increase mathematical connection ability, such as puzzle and GeoGebra. In addition, gender also affects students' mathematical ability. This study aims to investigate differences in mathematical connection abilities between students who learning by puzzle and GeoGebra, investigate differences in mathematical connection abilities between male and female students, and investigate interactions between instructional media and gender. This research was a quasi-experiment which used nonequivalent control group design. The samples were students of class VIII-A and VIII-B in Junior High School of 1 Tangerang City. The instruments in this research consisted of test items, such as pretest and posttest. Hypotheses test through parametric test (ANOVA Two Tail). Based on ANOVA Two Tail-test result, showed that there is difference increase in mathematical connection ability students who learning by GeoGebra and puzzle. Then, there is no difference increase mathematical connections ability between male and female students. The factors of instructional media and gender do not equally affect the increase of mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang tepat apabila digunakan guru dengan baik akan mampu membuat siswa tertarik untuk belajar sehingga mampu meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa. Salah satu metode yang mengasah kreativitas siswa adalah metode mind mapping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, faktor pendukung dan penghambat metode mind mapping. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Data diambil di SMP Negeri 5 Satap Kunto Darussalam. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan metode mapping dapat dilaksanakan dengan menyiapkan RPP dan penjelasan mind mapping ke langkah-langkah pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan metode mind mapping dalam pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar terlihat dari kreativitas dan pemahaman siswa yang meningkat. Faktor pendukung dilihat dari antusias siswa dan ketersediaan media, sedangkan faktor penghambat dapat berasal dari siswa dan alat pembelajaran yang tidak dimiliki siswa.

(pp.255–261).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffah) is one of the herbal plants that contains anthocyanin compounds and can react with formalin which is acidic, causing significant color changes. This study aimed to utilize anthocyanin compounds in rosella flower extract as a natural detector of formalin content in tofu. To achieve this goal, this study used an experimental method with a qualitative approach. Tofu samples were obtained from several traders in the market around Teluk Gelam Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Preparation of rosella flower extract was carried out using maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent. The rosella flower extract was then dripped on tofu samples and observed for color changes. The observation data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that rosella flower extract was effective in detecting formalin content in tofu. The best treatment was obtained at a concentration of 5 ml rosella extract + 20 ml distilled water (P3) which produced a clear color change in the tofu. Tofu containing formalin will change color to a solid red, while tofu that does not contain formalin does not show significant color changes. Thus, rosella flower extract can be utilized as a natural detector of formalin content in tofu.

Abstract

Tukak lambung adalah penyakit inflamasi akut dan berulang dengan banyak komplikasi, dimana perdarahan gastrointestinal adalah yang paling umum dan berbahaya. Tukak lambung pada waktu sekarang menjadi salah satu penyakit yang banyak diderita masyarakat dan apabila dalam kondisi yang parah dapat menyebabkan kematian. Tukak lambung yang berulang bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan delngan kelkambuhan pelnyakit tukak lambung di UPTD Puskelsmas Mellintang Kota Pangkalpinang tahun 2024. Pelnellitian ini telrmasuk dalam pelnellitian kuantitatif delngan melnggunakan meltodel survely analitik mellalui pelndelkatan study cross selctional.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah 544 orang yang merupakan pasien yang mengalami kekambuhan di puskesmas melintang kota pangkalpinang.  Besaran sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 94 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik simplel random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada hubungan antara faktor penggunaan NSAID (p-value= 0,004), Merokok (p-value= 0,005), stress (p-value= 0,008) dengan kekambuhan penyakit tukak lambung di UPTD Puskesmas Melintang Kota Pangkalpinang Tahun 2024. Diharapkan bagi masyarakat khususnya mereka yang mengidap penyakit tukak lambung untuk selalu memperhatikan kesehatan dan menhindari kebiasaan buruk yang dapat menyebabkan kambunya tukak lambung seperti penggunaan NSAID, merokok, dan stress.

Abstract

The development of effective assessment instruments is an important element in the learning process, especially to support the achievement of educational goals. In the context of mathematics learning, especially in trigonometric comparison material, well-designed assessment instruments can help students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for developing a website-based trigonometry comparison problem solving ability assessment instrument. The research method used is a qualitative method. The research subjects were mathematics teachers and MA students in one of the Ogan Komering Ilir districts. The research instruments used were teacher interviews, observations, and distributing questionnaires to students to determine the needs analysis for developing website-based problem solving ability instruments. Data were analyzed descriptively based on the results of interviews, observations and questionnaires. The research found that teachers do not yet have a CBT Web-based instrument for assessing their trigonometry comparison problem solving abilities. Teachers realize the importance of developing CBT Web-based problem-solving ability assessment instruments, but are constrained by not having the ability to develop CBT Web-based problem-solving ability instruments. The majority of students also realize the importance of a CBT Web-based trigonometry comparison problem-solving ability assessment instrument. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop a CBT Web-based instrument for assessing the ability to solve trigonometry comparison problems for MA students.
