Abstract

Media cetak Harian Fajar memuat konten-konten Islami di dalam pemberitaannya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi masyarakat yang mayoritas beragam Islam. Namun, setiap elemen dalam struktur redaksi memiliki kepentingan. Adanya kepentingan ini membuat pemberitaan menjadi fakta yang tidak bebas nilai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan konten Islami yang dikemas dalam pemberitaan serta mengetahui ideologi yang memengaruhi konstruksi pemberitaan di Harian Fajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model van Leewen yang menampilkan exclusion dan inclusion. Pertama, exclusion berupa pasivasi, nominalisasi dan penggantian anak kalimat. Kedua, inclusion yaitu memasukkan informasi sebagai strategi merepresentasikan individu ataupun kelompok berupa, diferensiasi-indeferensiasi, objektivasi-abstraksi, nominasi-kategorisasi, nominasi-identifikasi, determinasi-indeterminasi, asimilasi-individualisasi, dan asosiasi-disasosiasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pemaknaan teks Harian Fajarmemiliki ideologi ekonomi, kekuasaan dan aqidah. Ideologi ekonomi terkait dengan konstruksi iklan di Harian Fajar menjadi sebuah pemberitaan. Harian Fajar mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai berita, yaitu menarik, kebaruan, dan penting bagi masyarakat sesuai interpretasi jurnalis. Redaksi Harian Fajar mengkonstruksi terkait akidah. Harian Fajar juga menyediakan informasi dengan tema-tema Islami bukan hanya untuk berdakwah kepada pembaca tetapi, meningkatkan loyalitas pembaca. Media memiliki kekuasaan memproduksi kelas melalui konten-konten yang menarik perhatian masyarakat.Secara keseluruhan, hasil teks dalam penelitian ini akan mengarah pada komodifikasi konten.

Abstract

Feminist da'wah by women preachers on YouTube has formed Muslim interaction relationships that play a role in helping spread the teachings of Islam, especially for Muslim women who are packaged in da'wah messages that construct the role of women in the domestic sphere. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and qualitative descriptive to describe various conditions, situations or phenomena of social reality that occur on social media. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation, observation and focus group discussion. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the construction of gender identity through the externalization process of adjustment to social reality, objectivation by using Islamic normative legal basis and internalization through acceptance and determination of choices in action. The cognitive reduction that occurs gives birth to the assumption of dominance, the assumption of limitation and the assumption of deviation in representing a da'wah message. Adjustments to the principle of justice and the basic conditions experienced by a woman are needed in understanding the message of da'wah.

Abstract

Today the Muslim community is vying to establish a mosque / musholah. Because now the mosque / musholah not only used as a place of worship for Muslims. But also as a place of deliberation, a place to improve the intelligence and knowledge of the Muslims and the development and development of cadres of the leaders of the ummah.The type of this research is quantitativeand research method are correlation and regression analysis.Correlation analysis is used to test the significance and the relation between variables of Muslim population and mosque building. Meanwhile, regression analysis aims to determine the significance of the influence of Muslim population on building mosques in South Sulawesi Province. The results of this research indicate that the functional relationship between the number of Muslim population and the number of mosque buildings in South Sulawesi Province in 2015 is a positive linear pattern, the higher the Muslim population the higher the number of mosque buildings. Based on the results of correlation analysis obtained correlation coefficient between variables is strong that is 0.894 and significantly correlated. Meanwhile, based on regression analysis, it is found that there is significant influence between population and mosque building in South Sulawesi Province in 2015.

Abstract

Social media is a form of online mass media where users can easily interact by creating information through blogs, wikis, and other virtual worlds.This research uses the theory of self existence and the theory of the spiral ofsilence. One of the most popular social media in the community is Twitter. Twitteris a social media networking service that gives access to the use of sending,reading and replying to text, image and video based messages with a text limit ofup to 280 characters. Twitter is one of the social media that political leaders useto interact with their supporters and attract public empathy. In its agenda,political figures will more often update Twitter as they approach elections orwhen major issues occur. Social media has a close relationship with politicsbecause social media, especially Twitter, has channels that are close to thecommunity so that people can easily get news directly from political figures.

Abstract

Various supporting features of interpersonal communication and interaction such as chatrooms, walls, messanger, etc. make Facebook as one of the models of interpersonal mediated communication (interpersonal mediated communication). The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Facebook as a facility that facilitates friendship and personal relationships. The subject of this research is Facebook active users who utilize various Facebook features to meet new people. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that various Facebook features were able to facilitate its users in communicating both socially just friends to personal communication that led to institutional (marriage). Abstract

The organization is a system that coordinates various forms of activity and common goals to achieve the expected goals. Running an organization is largely determined by the organizational culture that is formed and changes for adaptation. This study aims to find out how the organizational culture of Bank BNI Parepare Branch was before the Covid-19 pandemic, and what was the communication strategy for transforming the organizational culture of Bank BNI Parepare Branch during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The organizational culture of Bank BNI Parepare Branch before the Covid-19 pandemic included several activities at Bank BNI to shape the reality of organizational culture before the pandemic, with the aim of creating good interaction and communication, including: Morning Breafing, and Family gathering. There is also organizational performance, namely in terms of appearance, spatial planning, this performance is a routine that is chosen as a culture attached to the organization. Changes during a pandemic are due to the obligation to implement established health protocols; (2) According to informants, the communication strategy for organizational cultural transformation of Bank BNI Parepare Branch during the Covid-19 pandemic was by determining the right communicators, namely the HR and general units, delivering policies or messages through written communication by adding symbols or signs as the chosen communication technique, as well as delivery media by utilizing various social media platforms and bulletin boards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa persen perbandingan faktor eksternal dan internal antara mahasiswa organisatoris dengan mahasiswa akademis dalam efektifitas akademik pada program studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam angkatan 2019 di IAIN Parepare. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Kuisioner atau angket yang disebarkan kepada total keseluruhan mahasiswa jurusan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam angkatan 2019, yakni sebanyak 59 orang yang terdiri dari dua variabel, yakni variabel X adalah mahasiswa organisatoris dalam aktifitas akademik dan variabel Y adalah mahasiswa akademis dalam aktifitas akademik. Pendataan mahasiswa organisatoris sebanyak 17 orang, sedangkan pada mahasiswa akademis data yang didapatkan sebanyak 42 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara mahasiswa organisatoris dan mahasiswa akademis dalam menjalani aktifitas akademik di kampus. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner antara kedua variabel yang masuk dalam kategori tinggi mengenai pengetahuan mahasiswa baik dari faktor internal maupun eksternal di kampus.

Abstract

Hoaxes as fake news trigger various debates and misunderstandings in society. The purpose of this research is to detect the receptive level of the Bakaru Village community who are new users of internet services. Before the community is easily influenced by false discourses that are difficult to control, the community must have the insight that not all writings or utterances on the internet, especially social media, are facts. This research method was carried out in conjunction with community service in Bakaru Village, namely in the Literacy Village activity. The results of this research are the level of trust of the Bakaru Village community in responding to hoaxes and introducing insights into hate speech. Despite being an underdeveloped and remote village, based on the results of the review, the Bakaru Village community has a foundation of belief not to easily believe in every new thing without confirmation from the hoax victim. Hoax news is not easily spread in this village because of the difficulty in interacting through social media, as well as hate speech that is not easily produced because the forum for expressing opinions on news is only through direct interaction.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the level of relevance of study program courses to the needs of the world of work for graduates of the KPI IAIN Parepare study program. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses quantitative correlation methods. The KPI study program has 43 study program courses and 16 institute courses, including 32 courses that form knowledge competencies, all courses in the study program are expected to be able to form attitudes and 31 courses that form general skills competencies and 6 courses that form specific skills competencies. The results of the research show that the study program courses and the needs of the world of work for KPI IAIN Parepare graduates are related. This is proven by the results of the Pearson correlation test, which obtained a Pearson correlation value of 0.250, which is at the level of a weak relationship between study program subjects and the needs of the world of work of graduates and has a positive value.
