Abstract

Prayer is a worship that must be carried out by muslims to get closer to Allah SWT. If they do not pray, they are among the people who are disadvantage. Because it has an influence on those who carry out as a believer performs obligatory and sunnah prayers properly and correctly. Obeying the provisions of prayer, the pillars of harmony in prayer in paying attention to the conditions for the validity of prayer, they are among those who carry out amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar. This quantitative research aimed to examine the influence of congregational Fajr prayer on the discipline of students (santri) at Al Mubaarok Islamic Boarding School in Pulau Medang Village. Data was collected using observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed through percentage calculations and the product-moment correlation with SPSS 22. The results revealed that the performance of congregational Fajr prayer among the students was categorized as "good" (78%), while their discipline was considered "very good" (81%). The correlation coefficient between congregational Fajr prayer and student discipline was 0.457, indicating a moderate correlation. Overall, the study found a significant positive impact of congregational Fajr prayer on the discipline of students at Al Mubaarok Islamic Boarding School in Pulau Medang.

Abstract

Abstract In schools, up to now there are still symptoms of problems related to organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation with teacher commitment, so that in the aspect of teacher hard work it is still in the sufficient category and needs improvement. It is necessary to examine the influence of organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation on teacher commitment. This research aims to examine the direct and indirect influence of organizational culture, principal leadership, and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau. This research is research with an associative quantitative approach with a survey design taking the location of SMPN Kepulauan Riau. The population in this study was 801 teachers with civil servant status and the sample was 80 teachers. The results of the analysis show that there is a simultaneous direct influence between organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau with a multiple correlation coefficient of (0.460) with a contribution of (73.96%). The conclusion is that organizational culture, principal leadership and teacher work motivation partially or simultaneously influence teacher commitment. The implication is that the better the organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation, the higher the teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on students' creative thinking skills on environmental pollution material. This type of research uses Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study were all grade X students at MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor. The sample of this study was determined by Simple Random Sampling technique. Class X B as an experimental class using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model and class X A as a control class using the lecture method. The research design used is Posttest-Only Control design which has been modified on the posttest value which is not obtained from student test scores after learning, but student creative thinking after learning. Data collection techniques used documentation, LKPD, and flower vase creativity assessment sheets. Data were analyzed using independent t-test analysis. The hypothesis results show that tcount> ttable, namely (2.795> 1.161) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the Creative Thinking Ability of Class X MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor Students.

Abstract

Kabupaten Luwu Utara memiliki lahan tanaman kakao yang luas, namun tidak diikuti oleh peningkatan hasil produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar persepsi petani dalam mengendalikan hama dan penyakit pada tanaman kakao di Kabupaten Luwu Masamba Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari hasil wawancara dan pengisian angket. Populasi adalah subjek keseluruhan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelompok tani yang ada di Desa Pandak dan Desa Pongo sebanyak 2 kelompok tani yaitu sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah Kelompok Tani Pemuda Seberang dan Kelompok Tani Bulo. Penentuan responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Structural Equation Modeling (VB-SEM) berbasis varians menggunakan aplikasi Smart Partial Least Squares (Smart PLS). Analisis data menggunakan SEM menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah karakteristik, partisipasi, dukungan lingkungan dan persepsi. Pengaruh ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil analisis determinan. Analisis determinan bertujuan untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persepsi petani berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai 54%. Karakteristik petani, partisipasi, dan dukungan lingkungan sosial secara signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi petani. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan persepsi petani, setiap anggota kelompok tani harus terlibat dalam setiap fase kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai hama dan penyakit tanaman kakao.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah periode transisi dari masa anak-anak menuju dewasa, di mana terjadi berbagai perubahan emosional dan sosial yang terjadi secara signifikan. Jika perubahan ini tidak ditangani dengan baik, potensi munculnya penyimpangan seperti kenakalan remaja dapat terjadi. Kenakalan remaja menjadi masalah yang semakin mengkhawatirkan di lingkungan bermasyarakat, hal ini dapat menyebabkan meningkatnya kasus-kasus kriminalitas oleh remaja. Narkoba menjadi salah satu hal yang paling membahayakan keberlangsungan hidup remaja Indonesia di kemudian hari. Oleh karena itu, pada program Kuliah Kerja Nyata 50 Universitas Mulawarman melaksanakan program kerja unggulan yaitu sosialisasi “Kenakalan Remaja dan Bahaya Narkoba”. Persiapan materi yang akan disampaikan dalam bentuk power point, sebagai bentuk apresiasi disiapkan hadiah bagi siswa-siswi saat evaluasi, melaksanakan kegiatan di SMPN 004 Long Bagun dan menyampaikan materi. Pelaksanaan rangkaian program kerja unggulan berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan rencana serta kebutuhan siswa-siswi baru di SMPN 004 Long Bagun yang berjumlah 76 orang.

Abstract

Smoking behavior among adolescents constitutes a serious public health concern due to its adverse health effects and its rapid increase among school-aged populations. Adolescents are particularly susceptible to social environmental influences, especially peer influence and the family environment, which may encourage experimentation with smoking and the development of smoking behavior. This study aimed to examine the association between peer influence and family environment and smoking behavior among adolescents at Public Senior High School 4 Banjarmasin. This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 308 tenth-grade students, and a sample of 175 respondents was selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing. The Chi-square test results indicated a significant association between peer influence and smoking behavior (p = 0.001) as well as between family environment and smoking behavior (p = 0.002). Negative peer influence functioned as a protective factor against adolescent smoking behavior, whereas positive peer influence and a family environment with smoking family members increased the risk of smoking initiation. These findings underscore the importance of education, supervision, and active involvement of families and schools in efforts to prevent smoking behavior among adolescents
