Abstract

NanoComic is an online platform that enables users to read comics online. The purpose of this research is to design a user interface and user experience based on mobile devices, aligning with the increasing interest in reading comics nowadays. The method employed in this study is the system usability scale, which is used to measure the extent to which the system can be easily used from the subjective perspective of users through the completion of Likert-scale questionnaires. Abstract

Bus transportation is a mode of transportation relied upon by the public due to its accessibility and affordable ticket prices. Sentiment analysis of RedBus app reviews on the Google Play Store can provide insight into user sentiment toward the app. The aims of this study are to analyze sentiment in reviews of the RedBus app using two approaches: the Random Forest model and a combination of Random Forest with AdaBoost. The analysis classifies user opinions as positive or negative. The study uses the TF-IDF method for feature extraction, and the evaluation methods include K-Fold Cross Validation and Confusion Matrix. The findings indicate that the combination of Random Forest with AdaBoost significantly enhances performance compared to the standard Random Forest model. Using a combination of Random Forest with AdaBoost results in an average accuracy of 89.0%, while the standard Random Forest model attains an average accuracy of 85.0%. Abstract

Hair loss can lead to baldness and affect one's self-confidence. Normally, hair falls out at 80-120 strands per day, and the average number of hair follicles on the head is around 100,000. If the amount is reduced by 50%, it can be considered a disorder. Therefore, a classification of hair loss levels is necessary to determine appropriate actions. Previous study has shown that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is capable of classifying various diseases. In this study, the Luke Hair Loss Dataset from the website kaggle.com, consisting of 400 data points, was used. To evaluate the method's feasibility, a confusion matrix was employed. The objective of this research is to analyze the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Several scenarios were utilized, including testing the model before and after SMOTE oversampling, testing before and after data normalization, testing based on different K values, and testing with varying ratios of training and testing data. The results of this study indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm achieved the highest accuracy value of 0.9853, precision of 0.9886, recall of 0.9833, and f1-score of 0.9856. Abstract

Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) is an algorithm in the process of data clustering that has limitations in the form of being sensitive to the parameters used so that in some cases, the final solution provided is not an optimal solution. One of the influential parameters is the fuzziness level of the algorithm. This parameter is a random real number greater than 1. The determination of these parameters is adjusted to the data used and evaluated with the condition that it reaches a minimum number of iterations for convergence, a small objective final value, and a DBI cluster validity value close to 0. In this study, Indonesian automotive sales data received the optimal algorithm fuzzy level parameter at a value of 2 with other fixed parameters, such as the number of clusters is 3, the smallest error expected to be is 0.00001, and the maximum iteration is 100.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization of medical information, safeguarding patient data confidentiality has become paramount. This research aims to address the issue of data leakage by implementing file encryption using the AES-128 algorithm. The research methodology encompasses problem identification, system design, testing, and evaluation. The encryption steps of AES-128, namely SubBytes, ShiftRows, MixColumns, and AddRoundKey, are applied to enhance the security of patient data. Testing is conducted using various types of medical data, and an analysis is performed to assess the level of security and algorithm performance. The results indicate that file encryption with AES-128 can provide a high level of security for patient medical information. The AES-128 algorithm generates secure ciphertext that cannot be easily decrypted without the corresponding key. This research contributes to the field of medical information security by implementing AES-128 file encryption in patient data management systems. By enhancing data privacy and security, the utilization of this algorithm has the potential to provide strong protection against data breaches. Further studies can explore the wider application of AES-128 in the context of medical data security and improve algorithm performance. Keywords: AES, Encryption, Medical

Abstract

One of the reasons for developing digital-based application designs is to solve certain problems experienced by users. In its development, several stages and processes are needed that directly involve potential users. Involvement aims to determine the needs and expectations of users in solving a problem. One method to determine the level of user needs is the usability testing method. Usability testing involves testers and participants. The examiner will ask participants to perform a number of tasks. As participants perform a number of tasks, the examiner will observe behavior and listen to feedback during the test. In this case, usability testing is carried out on the design of a mobile-based e-commerce application called Ez Buy. The purpose of usability testing on the Ez Buy application prototype is to find out the extent of user experience and user expectations of the application prototype design. This study aims to determine the participant's behavior towards a feature in the application prototype.

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the non-communicable diseases (NCD) which has now become a serious threat to global health. Quoting from the World Health Organization (WHO) data, 70% of the total deaths in the world are caused by non-communicable diseases. The position of diabetes as one of the silent killers in Indonesia may increase if this disease is not handled properly. In 2016, the percentage of deaths due to diabetes in Indonesia reached 6.7% and was the second highest after Sri Lanka. This figure is quite high because 2 out of 3 diabetics in Indonesia do not know that they have diabetes. Most of them only access health services when they are in a deteriorating condition, and even have complications.This became the basis for our group to create an expert system application using a deep learning/artificial neural network algorithm that aims to predict a patient will have acute diabetes with great accuracy.

Abstract

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipeline adalah salah satu teknik pengolahan data yang penting dalam dunia bisnis dan teknologi informasi. ETL pipeline digunakan untuk memindahkan data dari sumber yang berbeda, melakukan transformasi data, dan memuat data ke database atau data warehouse tujuan. Dengan menggunakan ETL pipeline, data dapat diolah secara efisien dan efektif, sehingga informasi yang dihasilkan lebih akurat dan tepat waktu. Pada PT Sirkadian Indonesia Sehat, ETL pipeline ini digunakan untuk memudahkan data scientist mengambil data yang sudah diubah agar dapat membuat sistem rekomendasi dengan lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Surat merupakan sarana komunikasi yang paling sering digunakan pada lembaga pemerintahan khususnya di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung. Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung memiliki sistem manajemen surat yang masih manual. Hal ini menyebabkan lambatnya pemrosesan dari surat masuk dan lembar disposisi, serta kekurangan lainnya seperti hilangnya berkas, kekurangan ruang penyimpanan, keterlambatan penanganan, dan ketidakjelasan status surat yang masih proses. Pengelolaan surat ini perlu diperbaiki agar tidak melalui proses manual lagi. Maka diberikan solusi berupa pembuatan aplikasi Sistem Manajemen Surat (SISMAS) yang akan membantu pegawai pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung untuk mengelola surat, lembar disposisi, dan arsip. Dengan menggunakan metode Wawancara, Diskusi, Tutorial, dan Launching, aplikasi ini dapat diterima dan mendapatkan respon positif dari pegawai Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Badung.
