Abstract

The problem in this research is the rising amount of conflict in society caused by a difference in people?s perspectives. Multicultural education is needed to foster tolerance for early childhood. The purpose of this study is to determine the internalization of multicultural education values in early childhood. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at PAUD Insan Kamil Dharma Wanita IAIN Surakarta from December 2019 to April 2020. The research subjects were teachers and class B, while the informants were the headmasters and the teacher of class A. The data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is tested using source and method triangulation. The collected data then analyzed by the stages of data reduction, presentation, and concluding. The result showed that internalization was carried out through three stages. There are a transformation of values, transaction value, and trans-internalization using lecturing method, giving a question-answer method, and demonstration methods. The teacher carries out the internalization process by introducing culture, forms of multicultural education learning activities carried out through the introduction of languages (Arabic, English, and Javanese), culture (traditional clothing), arts (regional dances), field trips (visiting museums) and traditional games. Keywords: Internalization, Multicultural Education, Early Childhood

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the learning of the Study Group of Packages C programme in Sragen Regency. This evaluation research uses the EPPKC model, which consists of Process and Product aspects. This research uses a mixed method, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The evaluation subjects in this study were 322 people, including the Study Group of Packages C programme organiser, tutors, and learning citizens in the Sragen Regency. The main field trial used a sample of 84 people, while the operational field trial used a sample of 238 people. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity techniques used source and method triangulation. The qualitative data analysis technique used in this research is an interactive analysis model, while the quantitative questionnaire results were analysed using the percentage analysis formula (percentile). The results showed that (1) the implementation of the Study Group of Packages C programme learning for the process component was included in the good category, (2) the Study Group of Packages C programme learning for the product component was included in the good category, and (3) the results of the Reviewer's Assessment of the EPPKC Instrument in the Study Group of Packages C Programme were included in the excellent category.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kepedulian tehadap lingkungan hidup yang mulai memudar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pendidikan lingkungan hidup di Raudhatul Athfal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Raudhatul Athfal Al Uswah, Delanggu, Klaten, Jawa Tengah. dari bulan Februari sampai Mei 2019. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru di Raudhatul Athfal Al Uswah. Informan penelitian ini yakni: Kepala RA dan siswa RA Al Uswah. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pendidikan lingkungan hidup dilaksanakan secara terprogram. Pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode bercerita juga didukung dengan pembiasaan, keteladanan pendidik, reward, dan hukuman untuk anak. Perencanaan, proses dan penilaian menggunakan kurikulum 2013. Pendidik terlebih dahulu menyusun RPPH dan membuat persiapan berupa alat peraga yang bervariasi setiap harinya. Ketika tidak ada alat peraga yang sesuai dengan cerita, guru menggambar di papan tulis. Ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung pendidik menumbuhkan suasana dan pengkondisian kelas. Penilaian masih menggunakan penilaian yang sederhana.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup, Raudhatul Athfal

Abstract

PermasalaPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kecerdasan naturalis pada anak usia dini masih belum dimaksimalkan di sekolah.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kecerdasan naturalis pada anak usia dini. Deskriptif kualitatif adalah jenis penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Aisyiyah Cabang Kartasura, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Survei dilakukan bulan Januari hingga Maret tahun 2019. Subjek penelitian guru kelas dan informan penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini dilaksanakan melalui perencanaan yang dilakukan dengan membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian setiap hari, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan melalui tiga macam strategi yaitu belajar melalui alam, menggunakan tumbuhan sebagai media, dan mengamati lingkungan, evaluasi pembelajaran dilaksanakan setiap hari melalui penilaian harian dan penilaian hasil karya.
