Abstract

This study aims to design and test a three-phase induction motor speed measurement device based on Arduino Uno. Three-phase induction motors are often used in industry because of their reliability, high efficiency, and easy maintenance. However, these motors have weaknesses, namely low starting torque and difficulty in regulating speed, which can cause operational instability. Therefore, this study developed an Arduino Uno-based control system capable of regulating motor speed by changing the frequency of the electrical supply. This research is quantitative in nature and uses an experimental method. The results of the study show that the designed device is capable of improving the stability and operational efficiency of three-phase induction motors. The use of an LM393 speed sensor aligned with the motor rotor allows the system to respond to load changes in real-time, maintain a constant speed, and reduce energy consumption. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of an Arduino Uno-based speed measurement device is effective in addressing the challenges of controlling the speed of a three-phase induction motor and has broad application potential in industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi e-katalog berbasis web sebagai media promosi digital untuk UMKM Genta Fiberglass yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan penjualan perahu berbahan fiberglass di Aceh Selatan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan dalam penyampaian informasi produk dan promosi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, peneliti menerapkan metode pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengkodean, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara kepada pemilik usaha guna memperoleh informasi yang relevan terhadap kebutuhan sistem. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, serta framework Bootstrap untuk tampilan yang responsif. Fitur yang dikembangkan meliputi galeri produk, deskripsi, harga, dan kontak perusahaan. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode pengujian black box untuk mengevaluasi fungsionalitas aplikasi tanpa melihat struktur kode. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai fungsi dan aplikasi dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh pengguna. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi promosi, memperluas jangkauan pasar, serta memberikan kesan profesional terhadap usaha Genta Fiberglass.

Abstract

This dedication activity was carried out at the Aula Hotel Linge, Takengon, central Aceh, Indonesia with the target target being the head of the first and upper secondary school level in the district of Central Aceh. This dedication aims to train school leaders and teachers in the use of augmented reality (AR) based learning media. The Augmented Reality application can display 3D objects in the real world through virtual displays, allowing users to interact with virtual objects. This training uses training methods. In this dedication training practice it was found that the head of the school and the teacher better understand the use of augmented reality-based learning media (AR) through increased assembler applications before and after the given training practice. The increase can be seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test values given at the time of the activity.

Abstract

Empowering communities is key to strengthening local participation and voice, especially in areas facing socio-economic challenges. The purpose of this community dedication activity is to explore a multidisciplinary strategy in empowering communities in Songkhla, Thailand, which is part of the IMT-GT region. Through a qualitative approach, the study analyzes the challenges faced by communities at Songkhlas and identifies various effective empowerment strategies. The results show that its main challenges include the lack of natural resource protection, limited community capacity, and weak coordination among stakeholders. The recommended empowerment strategies include strengthening community capacities through training and support, enhanced partnership and coordination between stakeholder, and the protection of natural resources through environmentally-conscious policies. The findings in this activity highlight the importance of a multidimensional approach in empowering communities in border regions, by involving various stakeholders to inclusive and equitable development

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan peserta didik terhadap platform pembelajaran daring. Seiring dengan peralihan metode pembelajaran konvensional ke pembelajaran daring akibat pandemi COVID-19, kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran daring menjadi isu penting untuk dievaluasi. Faktor-faktor yang dianalisis mencakup kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kemudahan penggunaan, interaktivitas, serta motivasi belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei yang melibatkan 300 responden dari siswa SMA hingga mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem, kemudahan penggunaan, dan interaktivitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan peserta didik, sementara kualitas informasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengembang platform pembelajaran daring untuk lebih fokus pada peningkatan kualitas sistem, kemudahan penggunaan, dan fitur interaktif guna meningkatkan kepuasan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan platform pembelajaran daring yang lebih efektif dan efisien di masa depan.

Abstract

Since the global COVID-19 pandemic, traditional classrooms have no longer become accessible for everyone. Most teaching and learning process is conducted virtually. The use of interactive and dynamic pedagogy is needed to maintain the quality of learning, especially that enhance argumentation and literacy skills. This research aims to examine whether there are differences in literacy and argumentation skills of Indonesian university students before and after the implementation of Collaborative Reasoning (CR) approach during online learning. A quasi-experimental one-group pretest-and posttest design was employed. A total of 30 students taking Communication and Gender course were involved in this research. We developed a Reading Comprehension Test (RCT) to collect the literacy scores of the students and Cognitively Based Assessment of, for, and as Learning (CBAL) Argumentation Progression to measure argumentation scores. Using a paired samples t-test, the literacy and argumentation scores of the students before participating in CR were compared to their scores after participating in CR. The literacy and argumentation scores were significantly higher after participating in CR. This finding indicates that there is an increase in literacy and argumentation scores over time that was not likely to be due to chance. It is pivotal then for language educators to consider CR in their classrooms.

Abstract

Media informasi yaitu sarana dalam mengumpulkan dan menata kembali sebuah informasi sehingga menjadi bahan yang berguna bagi remaja santri dan dapat mengetahui informasi yang ada serta saling berinteraksi satu sama lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk perancangan media informasi komik strip tentang pentingnya mematuhi tata tertib pada Dayah Darul Ihsan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan research and development yang dilakukan pada tanggal 23 s/d 29 November 2022 dengan langkah penelitian dimulai dari observasi, perencanaan, desain produk, pembuatan produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji coba, pembagian angket, analisis dan hasil akhir produk. Media informasi ini telah di validasi oleh 2 ahli media dengan nilai 75% dan 91% dengan kategori bagus sekali dan guru aqidah akhlak sebagai ahli materi dengan nilai 87% dengan kategori sangat bagus sekali digunakan sebagai media informasi. Kemudian uji coba yang sudah dilakukan oleh 30 santri pada kelas VII E MTsS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar mendapatkan respon positif dari santri yaitu 82,04% dengan kategori sangat bagus sekali. Dengan ini membuktikan bahwa media informasi poster komik dalam pentingnya mematuhi tata tertib dapat diterapkan pada santri Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar.

Abstract

This study examines the Survival Strategy of Palm Oil Factory Workers (Case Study in Dasan Raja Village, Penanggalan District, Subulussalam City). The income of palm oil factory workers in Dasan Raja Village is not sufficient to meet family needs but they continue to work as palm oil workers in the village and through activities as a survival strategy. The focus of the problem in this study is the survival strategy of palm oil workers in Dasan Raja Village, Penanggalan District, Subulussalam City in meeting family needs and what causes palm oil workers to continue working in Dasan Raja Village, Penanggalan District, Subulussalam City. This study uses the Theory of Social Action according to Max Weber. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results obtained from this study show the Survival Strategy of Palm Oil Workers, namely 1). Looking for Side Jobs, 2) Replacing Shifts 3). The Role of Other Family Members and 4). Utilizing Government Social Assistance. The reasons why palm oil stevedores continue to work are 1). Higher Wages and Lower Deductions 2). Limited Education and Skills 3). Social Relations and 4). Close to Home and Not Wanting to Migrate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional teknik elektro bagi siswa tunarungu di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) serta menguji kelayakan dan efektivitas penggunaannya. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi silabus, RPP/modul ajar, modul pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, peralatan praktik, dan jobsheet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua ahli instrumen, dua ahli media, dua ahli materi, serta lima siswa SLB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan tes dengan instrumen berupa panduan wawancara, lembar observasi, kuesioner, serta soal pretest dan posttest. Validitas instrumen diuji melalui penilaian ahli, sedangkan reliabilitas instrumen dianalisis menggunakan koefisien Alpha Cronbach dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan dinilai sangat layak oleh ahli media dengan persentase sebesar 87,5% serta oleh ahli materi sebesar 82,3%. Selain itu, hasil uji beda menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest, yang mengindikasikan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa tunarungu di SLB. Dengan demikian, perangkat pembelajaran ini layak dan efektif digunakan untuk mendukung pendidikan vokasional teknik elektro di lingkungan pendidikan khusus. Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, keterampilan vokasional, teknik elektro, siswa tunarungu.
