Abstract

Musala Darul Falah is a place of worship for Muslims located in Jorong Koto Tuo, Nagari Lubuk Malako, Sangir Jujuan District, South Solok Regency. The mosque is regularly visited by the local community for the five daily prayers, and it also hosts routine religious classes for children and teenagers. Currently, the prayer schedule at Musala Darul Falah is still managed using a conventional method, specifically a chalkboard. If there are any changes in the prayer times, they must be manually updated. The appearance of the prayer schedule board is quite basic and lacks an aesthetic appeal. In fact, places of worship should incorporate elements of beauty to enhance the comfort of the congregation during prayer. To address this issue, the management of Musala Darul Falah, in collaboration with the Community Service Team, has installed a digital prayer schedule display in the form of a running text device with an automatic call-to-prayer feature. This device can be accessed and controlled through a smartphone. The design and appearance of the content displayed on the running text can be customized by the management according to their preferences. With the installation of this running text device, it is hoped that the management of Musala Darul Falah will have a more efficient way to manage the prayer schedule and add an aesthetic touch to improve the comfort of the congregation

Abstract

The weaving center holds both cultural and economic value, yet its marketing remains limited due to less appealing promotional content and restricted digital access. This community service program applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to explore local potential, weaving skills, socio-cultural networks, and available digital tools. Together with the artisans, the team developed a digital marketing vision, produced photo and video content, created digital and printed catalogs, conducted social media training, and implemented personal selling simulations. After implementation, the artisans now have active social media accounts, are able to produce aesthetic visual content, and have begun using both digital and printed catalogs. Digital promotion activities have increased, accompanied by a shift in attitude toward technology-based marketing. The combination of ABCD and digital strategies proves effective in strengthening the competitiveness of traditional woven products. For sustainability, improvements in packaging, brand identity, network expansion, and long-term monitoring are needed

Abstract

Culinary MSMEs have a significant contribution to regional economic growth, particularly in Medan, a city recognized for its rich culinary diversity. One product that continues to experience increasing market demand is dimsum. This study aims to analyze the dim sum production system within culinary MSMEs in Medan, focusing on production stages, availability and management of raw materials, the utilization of technology, and obstacles faced during production activities. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach conducted on one MSME that consistently produces dim sum. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews with the business owner, and documentation of production activities. The results reveal that production is still performed semi-manually and lacks structured operational standards, leading to inconsistent product quality and unstable production capacity. Key challenges identified include limited capital, fluctuating raw material prices, and insufficient technical skills among workers. Based on these findings, this study recommends implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), adopting appropriate processing technology, and improving inventory management to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness among culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

Abstract: The management of the Ulfamart boarding house, which is still done manually, causes various obstacles, such as the absence of recording payment history, undocumented tenant data, and the unavailability of financial reports and maintenance history. This problem encourages the development of management information systems to improve operational efficiency and regularity. The object developed is a web-based boarding house management information system using Laravel and MySQL. The system is built through the stages of literature study, needs analysis, design with UML, system implementation, black box testing, and evaluation. Black-box testing was conducted to verify system functionality by providing specific inputs and ensuring the generated outputs align with expectations. The results show that the system is able to support boarding house management more efficiently, transparently, and structurally according to user needs..Keyword: Information System, Boarding House, Laravel.Abstrak: Pengelolaan rumah kos Ulfamart yang masih dilakukan secara manual menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti tidak adanya pencatatan histori pembayaran, data penyewa yang tidak terdokumentasi, serta tidak tersedianya laporan keuangan dan riwayat maintenance. Masalah ini mendorong pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keteraturan operasional. Objek yang dikembangkan adalah sistem informasi manajemen rumah kos berbasis web menggunakan Laravel dan MySQL. Sistem ini dibangun melalui tahapan studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan dengan UML, implementasi sistem, pengujian blackbox, dan evaluasi. Pengujian blackbox dilakukan untuk memeriksa fungsi sistem dengan memberikan input tertentu dan memastikan output yang dihasilkan sudah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendukung pengelolaan kos secara lebih efisien, transparan, dan terstruktur sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Rumah Kos, Laravel.
