The subjects of this research are parents who have children with special needs and attend special schools with a total of 54 people. The results of the study were analyzed using regression data analysis techniques. The analysis showed that the research hypothesis was accepted: that gratitude and social support could affect psychological well-being (F = 5.731; sig. 0.006 < 0.05). This study concludes that gratitude and social support affect 18.4% of psychological well-being, and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined.

The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and then the data is verified as a research result. The results showed that there were similarities in the self-esteem of the three research subjects in terms of self-significance and benevolence, apart from that there were differences in the details of the forms of other aspects such as individual strengths and abilities as well as the factors that influenced them.

Abstract

Professional orphanage services are one of the standards in the accreditation of Social Welfare Institutions (LKS). The Aisyiyah Sidoarjo Orphanage as an LKS has the desire to provide the best service. Being an accredited orphanage does not mean that the management of the orphanage goes without obstacles. The identified partner problem is the lack of understanding and skills of caregivers in assisting foster children. The lack of quality of care is identified as one of the triggers for maladaptive behavior in foster children. Parenting capacity in question is an understanding of the character of foster children and skills in solving foster children's problems. The methods used to solve partner problems consist of, 1) Child and Adolescent Development Psychoeducation, and 2) Feedback Training Using Situation-Behavior-Impact (SBI) Techniques. The two activities were carried out on two different days with 11 caregivers and companions from the three 'Aisyiyah Sidoarjo Orphanages, namely Celep, Balongbendo, and Taman. As a result, the understanding of caregivers and companions on the character of foster children increased from 38% to 57%.

Abstract

The general background mental health issues remain a major global health challenge, including in Indonesia, where mental illness is often stigmatized. Specific background mental illness stigma is prevalent in society, manifesting in negative attitudes towards individuals with mental disorders, thus affecting their acceptance and treatment. Knowledge gap there is limited research exploring the relationship between mental health literacy and mental illness stigma within community settings in Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the correlation between mental health literacy and mental disorder stigma among residents of a selected community. Results the findings reveal a significant negative correlation between mental health literacy and mental disorder stigma, indicating that higher levels of mental health literacy are associated with lower levels of stigma. Novelty this study contributes to the limited body of knowledge by demonstrating that improving mental health literacy can effectively reduce mental disorder stigma in community settings. Implications these results suggest that public health interventions focusing on mental health education may help reduce stigmatization, fostering a more supportive environment for individuals with mental health disorders, which may ultimately lead to better access to mental health services and outcomes. Abstract

This current study aims to investigate the negative relationship between husband’s support, adversity quotient, and anxiety of third-trimester primigravida pregnant mothers. A quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design was employed. A total of 103 primigravida third-trimester mothers (Mean age = 27.02) who received prenatal care at the Sidoarjo health center was participated in this study. Data were collected using the Husband’s Support Scale (51 items, α = .96), the Adversity Quotient Scale (39 items, α = .93), and the Anxiety Scale of the Pregnant Mother (49 items, α = .92). Data analysis was conducted using the Multiple Linear Regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 24 for Windows. The results indicate negative relationships between husband’s support (r =-.581, p <.001) and adversity quotient (r = -.612, p <.001) with anxiety. The husband’s support and adversity quotient are together explaining 37.9% variances of anxiety in primigravida third-trimester mothers (Adj. R2 = .379; F(32, 100) = 32.07, p < .001). This research implies the importance of husband support for pregnant mothers and the need for mothers to develop adequate adversity quotient to manage pregnancy related anxiety.

Abstract

Self-Control Psychoeducation as a Form of Relapse Prevention for Residents Involved in Drug Cases. This research was conducted based on the phenomenon of recovery and relapse episodes in inmates involved in drug cases. The occurrence of a relapse hinders the achievement of one of the SDGs goals, namely ensuring a healthy life and improving the welfare of the population at all ages. Therefore, this research needs to be carried out. According to Marlat and Gordon. The factor that influences the tendency to relapse is weak self-control (Wulandari et al., 2020). One way that can be done to prevent relapse is by providing psychoeducation related to self-control. The aim of this research is to apply self-control psychoeducation as a form of relapse prevention for inmates involved in drug cases. This research uses the Pretest-Posttest Design experimental method. The participants in this research were 29 inmates with drug cases who returned to prison with the same case (relapse) who were selected based on non-probability sampling. Measurement of the level of understanding of self-control using the Self-Control Scale. Data analysis used t-test analysis on pre-test and post-test results with the help of JASP version 17 The results of the analysis show that of the 29 inmates who took part in psychoeducation, there were 18 inmates whose understanding of self-control increased, 7 remained the same and 4 decreased. This research hopes that inmates will be able to maximize their self-control so that they will not relapse when they leave prison, and can focus more on getting a decent life.

The presence of K-Pop indicates that individuals tend to exhibit consumptive behavior towards themselves. This behavior arises when a fan wants to purchase items used by their idols. Unbeknownst to them, this behavior can lead to hedonic lifestyle and lack of self-control. The phenomenon of purchasing items causing consumptive behavior led to the research titled 'The Influence of Hedonic Lifestyle and Self-Control on Consumptive Purchasing Behavior of NCT (Neo Culture Technology) Fans in Indonesia.' The population in this study was 277,499 individuals found on the Twitter account @NCT_Indonesia, with a sample size of 384 people using the Accidental Sampling data collection method. The results of this study significantly show an influence on the emergence of consumptive behavior in individuals.
