Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of institutions and community participation in tourism development in Bakas Tourism Village. This study uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. This study was conducted by observing and digging up information directly about the role of institutions and community empowerment in realizing sustainable tourism through previously prepared study instruments. Based on the results, it revealed that the role of institutions is very active in the management of Bakas Tourism Village. In addition, community participation is also active in the development of Bakas Tourism Village from the planning stage to supervision.

Abstract

One of the determining factors for the success rate of a business is the motivation of the owner, in this case, micro, small and medium enterprises. This research is to determine the effect of business motivation on MSME performance and the moderating role of the Tri Hita Karana dimension in improving business performance so as to have an impact on business sustainability. The population used in this study were 32,226 units of MSMEs in Denpasar City. To obtain the sample, the slovin formula was used with a precision of 10%. Based on the calculation results of the Slovin formula, a sample of 99.69 is obtained (rounded upBecomes100) respondents. The determination of the research sample was carried out in a simple random based on clusters. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to MSME owners in the city of Denpasar who were the research samples directly or through google forms. The research results obtained motivation has a significant positive effect on business performance, business performance has a significant positive effect on business continuity, and the Tri Hita Karana dimension which consists of Parahyangan, Pawongan, and Palemahan is unable to play a moderating role in the effect of business motivation on MSME business performance in Denpasar Bali.

Abstract

Capacity Building for Human Resources Prioritizing Culture and Local Wisdom in the Village-Owned Enterprise of Suwat Traditional Village, Gianyar Regency is an effort to enhance the capacity of the management of Suwat Waterfall tourist attraction by emphasizing the understanding of Bali's cultural values and local wisdom. Suwat Traditional Village, with its natural tourism potential, faces challenges in managing human resources, the majority of whom come from an agrarian community with limited educational backgrounds. Therefore, it is necessary to provide guidance that focuses on strengthening competencies in tourism service based on local ethics, culture, and religiosity. The assistance is carried out through the development of educational materials that integrate Bali's cultural values and direct training to improve the skills of managers and staff in managing services and the organization. The outcomes of this activity are expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Suwat Waterfall as a cultural tourist destination, foster solidarity among the management team, and uphold local wisdom in every aspect of its operations. Through this education, it is hoped that the managers of Suwat Waterfall will be able to run the business with a more professional, culturally-aware attitude, and in accordance with traditional values that are the foundation for the sustainability of the business and environmental preservation.

Abstract

Tourism is a driver of the world economy that is proven to be able to contribute to the prosperity of a country. This sector can also be reached by people from various groups, so it is labor-intensive oriented and should be able to absorb a higher workforce compared to other sectors. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of the number of tourist attractions and the number of tourist visits on employment in the tourism sector per province in Indonesia. This research was designed as associative quantitative research. The population in this study is all 34 provinces in Indonesia. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, so that the number of samples in this study is the same as the population. Data collection techniques through documentation studies obtained from data from the Indonesian Provincial Central Statistics Agency. The collected data will be analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that the number of tourist attractions and the number of tourist visits have a significant effect on employment in the tourism sector. This shows that if there are more tourist attractions and tourist visits in a province in Indonesia, then more workers will be absorbed in that area.

Abstract

Universities are often in the spotlight as one of the educational levels that offer the development of specific skills and expertise for their students. After graduating from university, students will choose between two options: seeking employment or creating new job opportunities. Therefore, it is important for students, as the nation's future generation, to possess an entrepreneurial spirit. This research aims to analyze entrepreneurial learning in moderating the influence of attitude toward entrepreneurship on the entrepreneurial intention of Management Economics students in Denpasar, Bali. The study uses a quantitative method, employing questionnaires and observations for data collection. The data obtained consists of primary and secondary data and is analyzed using descriptive qualitative and descriptive statistical methods.

Abstract

Pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM) pariwisata yang kompetitif sangat penting bagi keberlanjutan desa wisata di era digital, khususnya di Desa Wisata Kertalangu Denpasar. Desa wisata ini memiliki potensi alam dan budaya yang kuat, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam peningkatan kualitas SDM yang mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi digital. Pendampingan kapasitas SDM dilakukan dengan pendekatan pelatihan penguasaan teknologi informasi dan penguatan kompetensi layanan wisata berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi SDM agar mampu bersaing dan mengelola wisata secara profesional, inovatif, dan berbudaya. Hasil pendampingan diharapkan mendorong terciptanya layanan wisata yang unggul, adaptif terhadap era digital, dan mampu menjaga nilai-nilai budaya Bali yang ada di Desa Wisata Kertalangu.

Abstract

Pelatihan aplikasi kependudukan di 60 Desa Kabupaten Buleleng menunjukkan langkah-langkah sistematis dan kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman operator desa. Identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat menjadi dasar perancangan program yang terfokus, melibatkan tim multidisiplin dari kampus dan dukungan Tim Programer aplikasi. Kolaborasi erat dengan pihak terkait, terutama pemerintah daerah, memastikan dukungan holistik. Metodelogi pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi kependudukan di 60 Desa Kabupaten Buleleng dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat melalui survei dan wawancara. Hasil identifikasi menjadi dasar perancangan program pelatihan yang terfokus, melibatkan tim multidisiplin dari kampus Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional serta dukungan Tim Programer aplikasi. Pelatihan bertahap di kampus, fokus pada operator desa, dengan presentasi materi interaktif. Evaluasi berkala dan monitoring menunjukkan dampak positif, dengan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemudahan akses administrasi kependudukan dan literasi teknologi. Forum diskusi sukses membahas relevansi program untuk pengembangan masyarakat dan pemerintahan efisien. Penyusunan laporan hasil dan diseminasi melalui seminar menjadi langkah kunci dalam menyampaikan temuan dan rekomendasi secara ringkas kepada pihak terkait.

Abstract

Desa wisata di Kabupaten Badung, Bali, memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal dan melestarikan budaya. Meskipun demikian, pengelolaan yang kurang optimal dan kelembagaan yang belum terstruktur dengan baik menjadi tantangan utama dalam pengembangan desa wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi kelembagaan desa wisata serta mengidentifikasi strategi yang diperlukan untuk optimalisasi pengelolaan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei, diskusi kelompok terfokus, dan pelatihan manajemen pariwisata bagi kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan struktur organisasi, peningkatan infrastruktur, dan promosi digital merupakan langkah penting dalam mengatasi tantangan yang ada. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan akademisi sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan ekosistem pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Dengan menerapkan strategi pemasaran digital dan pelatihan berkelanjutan, diharapkan desa-desa wisata di Kabupaten Badung dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan dan memberikan manfaat ekonomi serta sosial bagi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Kualitas dan keberadaan sumber daya manusia memegang peranan penting dalam pengembangan kapasitas pariwisata suatu daerah. Kota Denpasar memiliki prospek yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri pariwisata, baik secara regional maupun nasional. Kajian ini mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi bagaimana peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dapat memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kualitas pariwisata daerah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan deskripsi sistematis. Objek penelitiannya adalah Aparatur Sipil Negara Dinas Pariwisata Kota Denpasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pengembangan pariwisata daerah tidak hanya bergantung pada keamanan dan stabilitas politik, anggaran daerah, kebijakan hukum atau sosialisasi dan promosi tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kapasitas transportasi dan penggunaan sumber daya manusia khususnya yang bekerja di sektor pariwisata.
