Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of direct compensation and indirect compensation on the work productivity of employees at the Five Star Hotel Badung Bali. This research is quantitative research with a type of causal research. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 70 employees of the Five Star Hotel Badung Bali. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis to determine the profile of respondents and multiple linear regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results of this research conclude that direct compensation and indirect compensation have a significant effect on the work productivity of employees at the Five Star Hotel Badung Bali.

Abstract

Agroindustri merupakan sebuah industri yang mengolah bahan baku pertanian yang berasal dari tanaman atau hewan yang menjadi barang setengah jadi atau barang jadi (produk). Gula merah kelapa merupakan hasil dari proses pengolahan nira kelapa degnan cara pemanasan untuk menguapkan kandungan air didalamnya sehingga berbentuk padatan atau kristal. Secara umum industri rumah tangga gula merah kelapa menghasilkan produk gula merah merah cerak atau batok. Meskipun jumlah industri rumah tangga cukup banyak, akan tetapi penghasilan penghasilan yang didapatkan oleh pengiat industri gula merah kelapa masih tergolong kecil karena produk gula merah kelapa cetak hanya dijual secara tradisional kepada pengepul yang ada di daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi Pengembangan Industri Gula Semut Berbasis Agroindustri Di Kecamatan Dawan Kabupaten Klungkung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitiatif dengan menggunakan studi observatif dan kajian malalui studi kepustakaan serta wawancara pada pihak pemangku kepentingan guna mendapatkan data untuk menjawab permasalahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan gula merah yang diproduksi oleh petani kelapa di desa besan kecamatan dawan kabupaten klungkung sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi gula semut sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk serta meningkatkan daya saing produk dipasar lokal maupun nasional.

Abstract

The accelerated development of digital technologies has generated significant implications for human resource management practices within the tourism industry. These changes necessitate continuous adjustments in workforce competencies to effectively respond to increasingly complex and technology-driven industry dynamics. Within the framework of Industry 5.0, digital transformation is no longer understood merely as an effort to optimize operational efficiency, but rather as a strategic process aimed at reinforcing the role of humans as the central actors of innovation, oriented toward human values and sustainability. This article aims to comprehensively examine the role of digital upskilling and reskilling as strategic approaches to developing tourism human resource capabilities in response to the adoption of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and shifts in tourist preferences and behaviors. The study employs a literature review approach by analyzing various empirical and conceptual studies relevant to human resource development, digital transformation, and sustainable tourism. The findings indicate that digital upskilling and reskilling play a strategic role in shaping core competencies of tourism human resources that are adaptive, creative, and highly competitive. Beyond enhancing digital technical skills, these approaches also contribute to strengthening social, cognitive, and innovative capabilities among tourism workers. The study underscores that the development of tourism human resources aligned with the principles of human-centric innovation is a critical prerequisite for ensuring the sustainability and competitiveness of the tourism industry in the era of Industry 5.0.
