Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut jaringan internet yang andal, termasuk di instansi pemerintah seperti Pengadilan Negeri Palembang. Penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas jaringan pada bagian Kepaniteraan menggunakan metode Quality of Service (QoS) dengan parameter throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan pengukuran selama tujuh hari menggunakan Wireshark. Hasilnya, rata-rata throughput sebesar 608 Kbps termasuk kategori sedang menurut standar TIPHON. Packet loss 1,51% tergolong sangat baik, sementara delay 31,464 ms dan jitter 16,2255 ms menunjukkan jaringan cukup stabil. Secara keseluruhan, kualitas jaringan di bagian Kepaniteraan berada dalam kategori cukup baik, meskipun terdapat fluktuasi kecepatan pada waktu tertentu akibat tingginya jumlah pengguna dan penurunan performa server.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem kendali lampu otomatis menggunakan sensor suara berbasis Arduino Uno sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi pemborosan energi listrik akibat lampu yang tetap menyala tanpa aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem kendali lampu otomatis sensor suara berbasis Arduino uno sebagai solusi terhadap pemborosan energi listrik yang hidup tanpa ada aktivitas. Penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan dilingkungan rumah tangga, dikembang kan dengan cara sensor suara untuk memperbaiki tingkat keberhasilan deteksi perintah suara. Metode penelitian pengumpulan kebutuhan perancangan perangkat keras (menggunakan sensor suara, relay, Arduino uno, dan komponen yang mendukungnya) perancangan perangkat lunak dan Arduino IDE, pengujian menggunakan response time dan eror rate berdasarkan variasi jarak 50cm-450cm. hasil menunjukan bahwa sistem memiliki tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 87,5% dengan response time 1,2 detik. Sistem ini dinilai efektif dalam menilai dalam mendeteksi suara keras untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan lampu otomatis, sehingga mendukung konsep rumah pintar sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi energi listrik.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) has spurred the development of intelligent home systems that optimize energy use and enhance user convenience. One essential component of a smart home environment is an adaptive lighting system that can operate based on environmental conditions. This study aims to design and implement a microcontroller-based automatic lighting system that responds to variations in ambient light intensity and supports further integration with IoT-based monitoring. The system is built using an Arduino Atmega328P microcontroller, a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor for illumination detection, and a relay module to control the electrical load. This research employs an experimental design that includes system analysis, hardware assembly, software development, and performance testing. The LDR sensor was tested under bright and dark conditions, producing consistent readings, with an average threshold of 450–500 analog units for light and below 300 units for dark. The system successfully activated the lamp in 100% of dark-condition trials (n=10) and turned it off correctly in all bright-condition trials (n=10). Response time measurements showed that the system processed changes in light intensity in less than 1 second, ensuring real-time adaptability. The findings demonstrate that the proposed design operates reliably, optimizes electricity usage, and reduces the need for manual intervention. This study contributes to the development of affordable, energy-efficient, innovative lighting systems. It provides a practical foundation for future work, including full IoT integration with wireless modules for remote control and monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about Information Technology management at Muhammadiyah University of Palembang and to get right advice in managing Information Technology from the University level to the Study Program. Regarding benchmarks in Information Technology Governance use the Cobit 5 framework with the Evaluate, Direct and Monitor domains. Monitoring and evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to lecturers and employees at the Muhammadiyah University of Palembang and the researchers did observations on the management of higher education information technology governance. Based on the questionnaire result, the highest gap occurs in sub domain 4, which is 3.65 while the observation result towards the capability level is at level 3 with a value of 56.67%, the sub domain ensuring resource optimization has the highest capability value of 66.67%. Based on the data obtained using the EDM domain, the University of Muhamadiyah Palembang has to set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (IK) so every five processes can run well to create good IT governance.
