Abstract

This study aims to create an ethnomathematics-based learning media product using Kodular software. The 4D development paradigm used in this study consists of the following stages: definition, design, development, and dissemination. This study was conducted in class X TSM 1 SMK Al Huda Bumiayu. Questionnaires, interviews, and observations were the methods used to collect data. Media validation questionnaires, material validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires (practicality) were the tools used in this study. Practicality and product validity tests were used as data analysis methods. According to the research findings, the practicality test using the student response questionnaire produced a percentage of 90.0% with a very practical category, the validation test on the media or construct showed a final percentage of 98% with a very valid category, and the validation test on the content or material obtained a final percentage of 94% with a very valid category. Thus, it can be said that the creation of Kodular-based learning materials is valid and practical. Based on the research, students' understanding of mathematical concepts can be supported and the learning process is assisted by this Kodular-based learning resource.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in supporting early childhood children experiencing social anxiety at RA Ihyaussalafiyah Ketawang. Children aged 0–6 years are in a golden age that determines cognitive, socio-emotional, physical, language, creativity, and religious development. Social anxiety can hinder interaction, reduce self-confidence, and affect children's psychological development. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design through in-depth interviews with parents, teachers, the principal, and observations of children's behavior at home and school. The analysis was conducted to find patterns, themes, and meanings regarding the role of parents in helping children deal with social anxiety. The results showed that attention, warm parenting patterns, and harmonious communication between parents and teachers are protective factors in fostering a sense of security, self-confidence, and children's social skills. The educational program at RA Ihyaussalafiyah encompasses cognitive, social-emotional, physical, creative, cultural, and Islamic values aspects and has been proven effective in supporting children's growth and development, while synergy between family and school creates a conducive learning environment enabling children to develop into intelligent individuals with Islamic character, caring for culture, and ready to contribute positively to society. Abstract

If purine intake from food is too high, exceeding 15% of the body's needs, there will be a buildup of purine in the body. Foods that contain high levels of purine cause uric acid levels to rise in the body. In Indonesia, the prevalence of gout at ages 55-64 years is around 45%, and at ages 65-74 years is around 51.9%, and at ages >75 years is around 54.8%. The prevalence of gout arthritis in Indonesia in 2018 was around 11.9%, with Aceh at 18.3%, West Java at 17.5%, and Papua at 15.4%. Based on the symptoms of gouty arthritis in East Nusa Tenggara, it is 33.1%, West Java is 32.1%, and Bali is also 30%. According to one study, increasing uric acid levels in the blood, apart from causing gout, is a strong predictor of death due to cardiovascular damage. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of giving boiled mango leaves on reducing uric acid levels in PMB Ny. R Gandul Cinere Depok 2023. Type pThe research used was an experiment with Quasy Experiment using a one group Pre-Post test design approach. The population in this study was 30 menopausal elderly people. Data analysis used the Shapiro Wilk test and Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis research show that the average pretest before given boiled mango leaves, namely 7.233 and the average posttest score after being given boiled mango leaves was 5.257with a significant p-value = 0.000. ConclusionThere is an effect of giving boiled mango leaves on uric acid levels in menopausal elderly in PMB Ny. R Gandul Cinere Depok in 2023.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the “chemical reaction balloon” experiment in enhancing students’ understanding of the concept of changes in the states of matter among fifth-grade students at SD Jatisari 1, Jember. The study was motivated by the students’ limited conceptual understanding, which primarily results from teacher-centered instruction and the lack of hands-on learning experiences. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research focuses on the learning process and students’ interactions during the experiment. The activity involves a simple chemical reaction using baking soda and vinegar, which produces gas and inflates a balloon. This observable phenomenon serves as a tangible model to help students comprehend the transformation of matter from solid to liquid and gas. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the chemical reaction balloon experiment improved students’ conceptual understanding of changes in the states of matter. Students demonstrated higher enthusiasm, active participation in discussions, and the ability to connect their observations with scientific concepts. Moreover, teachers gained valuable insights into the use of simple experimental methods as effective learning tools in elementary science education. In conclusion, the chemical reaction balloon experiment proved to be an effective learning method for improving conceptual understanding in science, particularly concerning changes in the states of matter. This method provides meaningful learning experiences and fosters scientific thinking through engaging, hands-on activities.
